- hi boos, i'm so happy to finally be feeling like myself again. we're back in the gym, cooking simple meals, hydrating and slowly getting back into the groove of things. i've been loving carving out space in my night time routine to pour a delicious drink in a cute glass and either catch up on UA-cam or turn on my red lights, snuggle up under the blankets and just ease into rest.

i live alone and my daughter is 26 and lives alone in her apt with her pup. i’m divorced and my daughter got out of a not so good relationship as well. i’ve been a loner most of my life so i pretty much came prepared with the survival skills of being alone. most of all my hardest challenges i had to do alone when a lot of people had others to back them up or help them. now looking back, im glad because there are a lot of people who cannot do without a man or someone there holding their hands throughout life. i’m trying to teach my daughter that it’s ok to be alone. it’ll make u strong and it’ll make u value your worth and not settle for just anyone to come into your life. i know for me i don’t have to worry about looking over my shoulders wondering if someone is cheating on me or why they’re coming home so late. the peace of not going through that is beautiful. to me, this is what happiness truly means

I’ve been in a position where the landlord wants people to come in and out of the apartment while I still lived there and it wasn’t pleasant at all. Having a bunch of people coming in and out during a move, and still paying rent is something I would never do again. They 100% should have a video to show to potential interest.

Glad you’re feeling better, setting up / returning to your regimens and such, and practicing being more loving to your body + disciplined. That bloat life is soooo annoying! I recently gave up breads, pastas, rice and chips because I figured out they were bloating me real bad and I immediately saw a difference. So if you haven’t already discover what’s doing the bloating and severely minimize it and/or introduce digestive enzymes. Hope that helps along your journey🎉

New subscriber! I'm single and I also live alone! It's so nice to see that there's more of these type of videos that exist.😊 As far as the apartment hunting situation... It's pretty common (at least here in California) that apartments are listed while they still have someone living in them still. The tours are of "model" apartments, similar to the unit you applied for. The video the landlord showed, should match what it says in the listing as far as amenities, etc. Good for you for not paying anything up front! Keep up the great work! Love your content! 🤎

Side note, it is the unfortunate truth that current tenants don’t have to cooperate with allowing ppl to tour their apt as they still reside there . I would say if it is managed by a management company then it’s less likely that it’s a scam, now, when it’s privately owned, that’s a whole different story.
Amani, I know you love beverages and are super into guy health so I wanted to suggest you trying Kombucha. I’m not sure if you have, but I’m also a huge matcha drinker and then kombucha is my next go-to. It really helped me get my digestion sorted, along with probiotics💗

Since you use Our Place and Caraway, do you have a preference?
ouuuuu, honestly Caraway takes the cake. However, Our Place has the most amazing colors and they're still really good! I think it depends on what you prefer aesthetic wise because quality wise, they're neck and neck. however, i ONLY use the Our Place cast iron, ovenware and the pot. i've heard too many horror stories about the stovetop pan so i just didn't bother to buy.
if you want a full set and peace of mind, definitely go with caraway!
As someone moving across the country that unit was forsure giving scam bc the way they handle stuff now shows how they'll handle problems when you move in(like a washer not working, noisy neighbors, leaking ceilings etc) If theyre bad at communication now they'll be even worse when you need them.
Also seeing L glutamine being taken by fitness people is always so funny bc at one point they tried to market l glutamine as a 'cure' for sickle cell and turns out it doesnt do jack shit but make me and many other sickle cell patients feel nauseous while still suffering from chronic pain and fatigue.
