In case anyone else's curve warp tool wasn't working, or gave them the error in my case, I had to go into 'Windows', then 'settings/preferences', from there go into 'plug in manager' then type in 'curve' or 'warp' either will bring up the option and then you want to make sure that next to the option that both 'auto' and 'auto loaded' are checked, because mine were off by default. So don't know if that will help anyone but hopefully if you do run into the error that's all it will take. And great video, by the way, very helpful.
I have an assignment due tonight for organic models, and I gotta say that this whole video has taught me more than my old instructor did at my first college.. haha. This video is amazing and I will definitely share it with my classmates!!
I love you so much!!! I have a deadline in a few hours and I was able to learn the basics of Maya in 4 hours thanks to you! I've never used any 3d programs before and your video worked so many wonders for me. More power to your channel!
Thanks! I have a tutorial on this channel for customizing the interface but I'm actually working on a new video cause my settings have changed in that time so that's in the works.
If you use the search feature you should be able to find it. I'm currently using the newest version of maya in 2022 and it wasn't in any of the top menus that I saw but I was able to find it after searching it.
How do u do the colour on the tree? So how do you get the colours for each part. I’m new to unreal and designing a project to go onto Unreal Engine of a tropical island
If performance isn't an issue you could just add a material on the part of the tree you want to share that specific color. Afterwards when you import it into Unreal just put a material on it inside the game engine. I go over materials a bit in Part 11 of my Maya intro series. I'll leave a link here for you. ua-cam.com/video/65nv5KDNXIY/v-deo.html
Hi thanks so much it's great to see people enjoying the content! I'm not really on social media so much sorry. Making the tutorials as well as my full time job keeps me pretty busy.
I really enjoy it, I've learned more with your videos than with my teacher hahahaha. I was expecting to see more of you work, but it's fine🥰btw, how do you do the backgrounds of the thumbnails?🥺
@@AdrianaHernandez-ru5gf Hi the background I used in this video is quite simple. All I did was bevel a corner and then smoothed it. It softens the lighting and creates an interesting gradient. The rest is just light placement and I believe I went with a 3 Point setup in this one with an HDRI.
@@AdrianaHernandez-ru5gf Btw thanks for giving me the idea to add some social media to this channel it's a really great idea! It probably won't be until summer or later but If you have any recommendations let me know. I'm having a lot of fun watching this community grow so thanks for being one of the early ones!
Hi are you referring to the part where I extruded to give the leaf some thickness? I believe I just extruded the entire object. If you can let me know the timestamp as to your issue I can have a better look.

Woah, how do you make your UI in maya look so good? The dark background and yellow lines on grid? Looks like blender, I love it
Thanks! I have a tutorial on this channel for customizing the interface but I'm actually working on a new video cause my settings have changed in that time so that's in the works.

could not find curve wrap in my maya 2018
Hi it's been awhile since I've used Maya 2018 so I'm not sure if it's missing that feature.
If you use the search feature you should be able to find it. I'm currently using the newest version of maya in 2022 and it wasn't in any of the top menus that I saw but I was able to find it after searching it.

Why when I extrude one edge while doing the leaf it affects the edges around it?
