Safariland Low Ride UBL holster solves pretty much all the problems you mentioned and it has level 1 retention. You can also add the QLS attachment and a leg strap if needed.
Hey Marc this link will get you to the harness that Sitka currently has available.www.sitkagear.com/products/mountain-optics-harness/optifade-subalpine
How Does the retention work on that holster? Any experience beyond normal outdoor movements that cause concerns? I’m sure a bear can knock your torso off if it wanted to, but would stumbling over a branch cause the gun to slip out? Can you increase tension? Get any sort of click sound?
So far so good in retention. We have used this holster in many scenarios where the tension is put to the test. You can adjust it slightly. Have never had the gun sloop out even when climbing over downed logs. There is a clock sound .
Thanks For watching! We used these all this season just so see if they were worth it. Man they were sweet! I still haven't taken mine of my bino harness.
Hey Ryan shoot us a message on Instagram @outdoors_unboxed let me know if you don't have Instagram and I can get you our info another way. Thanks for watching:)
Thanks for the post. I ran across it because I've been looking for the best chest holster I can find. But this one I'll have to pass on. I couldn't help but cringe as I watched the video. Don't know if you realize it or not, but throughout the whole video the gun in the holster was pointed straight at the guys stomach to the left. That doesn't seem too safe to me. The gun should rest in more of a downward angle so in the case of an accidental discharge the worst you'll do is hit the person to your left in the leg, not in the guts. If I were to wear this holster, I'd ALWAYS make sure no one ever stood to my left. Be safe guys.
They should make an attachment for a spare mag in the dead space on the opposite side.
I agree! They are a great company and take suggestions. Wouldn’t hurt to throw that their way.
What type of Bino harnesses are you guys wearing?
The chest rig or chest pack you guys are wearing in the video, what is the name of it thanks
How does it feel after a day of hiking?

I find myself sliding on rock faces and in tight places alot. I treat my tool as a tool but a drop leg means I’m risking a lot of damage.
Is this the Expo in Salt Lake
Yeah buddy
@@outdoorsunboxed326 I was also at the Expo
My dad also bought the same brand
Great Review! Will check them out. Thanks...been trying to find a holster to fit my Horn Hunter bino holster and G20. Thanks
What reed holder is that. That looks super cool
It’s made by 6 am out doors . IVAM Reed holder
Dang bro, turn the background music down. Couldn’t concentrate on what your saying with all the background noise.
Do you have a link for the Bino harness?

My son has a Kydex holster, it works great . He had a Blackhawk holster and it turned a new gun into a poor looking gun by wearing the finish off.
Yeah that can happen with kydex
I carry the same Taurus when I hunt.
How

Apparently they don't offer the camo pouch anymore?
I only carry my 500 S&W in a Simply Rugged chest holster. My Glock 40 will go in the new Dara Holster I just ordered.
What bino rigs are those?
Coops they are Sitka setups. I have really liked mine.
Cool thank you
Coops you bet! Thanks for watching:)

So what's it cost ? $100,
Put a frame pack on and try walking over deadfall with that pistol positioned like that. It’ll be poking you in the lower gun and hip flexor all day.
I didnt care for my Razco chest holster. I switched to Diamond D all leather, made in Alaska. Much much better fit and feel on the body,
Child size armor
Joe R Biden ha ha yeah you could say that. Mine stays on my Binos all the time.
I saw his gear and...
That's pretty much the way I carried my pistol in Iraq during convoy security ops.
Rangefinder. Non firing hand bro. Is best practice.
It's both awkward to me. Either way, I'm switching hands. Non firing hand, I'm moving my bow back and forth.
good video but hat music is distracting get rid of it

Great now throw that XD in the river!
It looks poopy
*this product is only for skinny ppl*
Flags to much
Looks terrible. I would look at other options
These have actually been really nice to have. Puts the gun in a really convenient place and keeps it secure. Haven't had any issues yet with it.

As long as it works for you
Like what?
RockHumper
Do a google search there are a lot of other options. On average 150$ ish
No thanks, $150 is stupid, save your money
