I lived in Hua Hin for 7 years in the early 2000's It has grown rapidly since then. I was surprised to see you didn't include the pala U Waterfall as a destination.
Hua huin... I've been there since December 8, 2022, it's January 7, 2023. Frankly, I strongly advise against it for people who prefer the beach to the swimming pool. The beautiful photo without waves of a 12 km white sand beach is on the internet. In real life, it's high tide, a thin strip of sand (Hilton. Khao katiab) covered with all the shit that the sea spits out... the rest of the coast has no beach. To eliminate destinations in Thailand for my part
Watch out for the monkeys at the temple, they can be very very aggressive. A few years ago the culled some but there are so many still there. Be careful!!
Monkeys are not aggressive.. in fact, no animal is aggressive.. it’s just that they feel hungry like us but they can’t buy anything for self. Though animals give a lot to humans but they don’t get anything in return. All money making and facilities are limited to only and only humans. We never think they also need place to live, food to eat and water to drink. We snatch out everything from them and make available for ourselves in a better way, making it worse for them and then say let them manage by themselves. Or let’s kill them.. they are in excess and of no use. Though no animal creates anything which is harmful for environment….no garbage.. still we can’t survive with there basic poop and pee.

I don't think the penguins shown at 1:18 are really there. A bit of a slip up when finding pictures of wildlife. 😂
