Yes true! Sadly the Elephant Village in Hua Hin raise money by taking tourists for 20 minute elephant rides or you can buy a basket of banana or cucumber for 100B each. The Hutsudin Elephant Foundation does not take tourists for rides. You can pay to go walk with an elephant through nature or to feed them.
Been thinking of bringing more horses and camels for tourists to ride. Anything but elephants will do for wildlife activists. Elephants are outcasted for tourists riding. That’s left Thais dumbfounded. 😂
Amazing script and best video and blogging I have seen thank you !! In my stay in January 2025 staying for 5 weeks and this is my first stay from Bangkok looks beautiful every think I need can’t wait to explore this world 🌍 of beauty
I ´ve been one time in Hua Hin up to now and have only good memories. It´s a more quiet region compared to the usual tourist spots in Thailand but also very nice. In this video I got some interesting hints for my next visit in future. Thanks!
I've been to the beach once. The horses pee and poo on the sand, so I didn't want to go again. In Finland it's illegal to even take a dog to the beach, let alone a horse! 😁
@@nowgettheretravel There are 38 beaches in Helsinki alone. Most of them are quite small though. This past summer there were more than 70 days in Finland when the day's maximum temperature exceeded 25C. Right now it's 20 degrees in Helsinki.
No real sanctuary will have elephants with the frame on their back for people to ride them.

Agreed not a sanctuary
It's probably better than where they came from.
That's the reason why I skipped it too.

I totally agree! Huang Hin is so quiet to other tourist towns in Thailand. I love it quiet! And plenty of cool things to do and see
Excellent video. Summed it all up neatly.
Thank you so much!

Finland has beaches? Isn't it too cold to go to the beach? The horse handlers do a good job of picking up the horse poop
What a whinger. Scoop up the poo for your garden.
Great video. Can’t wait to visit in December. Thanks for sharing ❤
