"Wonder Woman talking to animals is to "princess" like". she's quite literally a "princess", Amazonian badass princess but still a princess
-Blade can turn into a bat
-Superman can render himself invisible
-Venom has a poisonous bite
-Etrigan can grow wings and fly
-Professor X's telekinesis
-Hope Summers got the Iron Fist
Yup
Can you make the video next time?
Wow you know a lot
They recently brought back spiderman turning invisible
@@Lunaaxcx i dont think that says spiderman
I always thought daredevil being able to feel colors was based on the fact that some colors absorbed more light so were warmer and others were cooler
That's a great explanation for something that is considered dumb. Fair play
Light also has force, which is why "solar sail" is a thing, rather than the heat, he might be feeling the photons pushing against his... Whatever he uses to feel
Either that or he was on LSD
that is true. an objects colour is determined by the temperature of the light it gives off.
mike jubb wavelengths, not temperature, light cannot have heat
The Flash's ability to think faster is not a forgotten power. There were entire storyarcs built around it in the new 52.
Agreed that there are arcs built around it. That being said, in any arc that's not built around it, writers tend to ignore it. He's caught off guard by way more things than he should be, considering he can perceive events that happen in an attosecond. That level of thinking and processing speed is just so OP that writers need to pretend it doesn't exist in the majority of stories.
@@ghartman56 Do you remember any particular instances of this in the New 52 or the Rebirth continuity.
@@ghartman56 It's so infuriating when the Flash, someone who's supposed to be so fast he can run through time, gets caught off guard by someone. Even if I were able to somehow sneak up to him and stab him in the back, I should be moving so slow that before the knife even breaks skin, the Flash would move out of the way.
@@Profile__1 when a bullet hits the flashes skin he has to purposely vibrate at either a frequency that makes his skin harder than the bullet or let it pas through him so every time he catches a bullet he is thinking super fast just cause he's thinking doesn't mean he can't be distracted
@@ericwalsh2954 No but that's the thing. To him it'd be like a sloth trying to scratch you: yeah, it could tear the skin and hurt, but it's moving so slow you could easily just move out of the way before it even pushes hard enough to hurt. For someone moving several hundred times faster than light and thinking far faster, even intense distraction shouldn't mean he can suddenly be hit by a normal human.
4:25-4:30
YES HE IS! Batman holds Flash's detective skills in high regard and he has a PhD in Physics!
Flash issue 64 (2016)
Exactly
I can see Batman doing that.
Facts facts facts
You don't have to be a genius to have a phd or s-class detective skills
@@MrFrelix92 Barry Allen was (is?) a skilled forensic scientist. Couple that with the ability to think at superspeed.....
3:41
Star fox...
Oh that marvel hero who had a power that allowed him to attract people, and he’s infamous for doing this to she-hulk and when she learnt about this, she beat him to a pulp....
I remember that...
Dang girl!
Didn’t she become his lawyer for a brief moment to defend him against the idea that he was using his pheromones to manipulate women for like a hot moment?
@@lucasgray1492 yea thats why she was pissed cus he did the same damn thing to her.
Don't forget he is also Thanos' brother.
Geek Eire 2.0 clever
People also forget that during the Other storyline Spider-Man gained bone spikes which he could pop out of his forearms and use to inject people with venom (he actually didn't get his organic webbing until the Queen--a character who controls insects--turned him into a giant spider in the Spider Island storyline). And Namor used to be able to use the power of any sea creature.
I thought it was Scarlett spider that had the arm bones
Maybe these powers will be in a part 2 of this list.
I'm mostly a fan of superhero movies, and series to an extent. My first big experience with it all was the Spiderman trilogy with Tobey Maguire; so, for me, organic webbing was the original version I knew. And it bothers me to no end that they won't bring it back because it was the most spider-like power he had; without it, I don't see enough justification for him to be called Spiderman
This clip was excellent! Well- thought out, interesting, etc. And thank you for taking up for Aquaman!
I like the idea of Spider man having organic webs because that is what a spider does.
What about the fact that Kyle Rayner had some training from Batman? It got brought up once when he fought Sinestro and was never talked about or shown since.
Not to mention he could theoretically revive people as a White Lantern, but reviving Hal (by pulling him out of his ring) zapped him of his White Lantern status.
Bruh his "training" wasn't even enough to beat Sinestro lol
How often does Nightcrawler become invisible in the shadows? He made use of it during early issues of X-Men.
6:50 : the way he lost his hand, and the reason for it, were done WAY better in the animated series than in the actual comic (where super-piranha that he couldn't 'talk to' were forced to chew it off 9_9)
For a brief time in the 1930s, Superman could alter his facial features to impersonate anybody. He used it mainly to infiltrate the gangs he was fighting in those days, before his concerns got a lot more cosmic.
And it was a heck of a lot more canon than ripping the S emblem off his chest to send Zod and company back into the Phantom Zone. Nobody ever came up with a justification for that one.
They're still using a version of that on Supergirl
Me: Superman's mini Superman! From his hands he can summon-
BANG!!!
Deadpool: You can thank me later DC.
Aquamans "speak every langauge" was actually in the Life Action Movie. He spoke at least some eastern asian Langauge, Russian, Italian and Atlantean.
And for him it make sense. He propably swam from Happyhour to Happyhour before Justice League.
Aquaman has always been treated unfairly imo. If you take a minute to think about what is required to stay alive and swim at extreme speed while skimming the ocean floor it's pretty damned super. When you are underwater you are feeling the weight of all the water above you and he dives deeper than any modern submersible known to science (not to comicdom). Creatures that live at the depth develop radically different physiology to exist in that environment but his is more heavily reinforced than drastically different thus maintaining more of a human form.
The end result is that I think he could go toe to toe with any of the big League-rs based on relative strength alone.
I remember the "talks to animals" power for Wonder Woman. She used it in the infamous crossover with OMAC Project, in a way that definitely stopped it from being considered "princess-y".
I love that they included the Flash’s ability to pick up information fast in the CW! Such a handy skill
Superman used to have Super ventriloquism. He could throw his voice anywhere in the world so with his hearing he didn't need a phone to have long distance conversations.
Wonder Woman fans generally like her "unity with beasts" power but her writer's don't seem too, Greg Rucka and Phil Jimenez are the only ones who used it well.
2:50-3:02 thanks for explaining that phrase.
8:55 [Sarcasm]Oh no, an Amazon princess is too princess-like we can't have that.
I'm hating all that "she's a Goddess!" thing. She is not. Technically she's a Demi-Goddess. Which is good, that puts them on the same level of all Classic Heroes from Greek-Roman Mythologies, like Jason, Hercules, Perseus, Theseus...
@@BlackJackLopez I agree
This was certainly a fun n interesting video to watch. Nice job Top 10 Nerd.
I glad you made this video. I didn’t know many of these. It was informative. After watching the Flash section, I kinda wish the CW portrayed Barry that way in the show. You know he is smart from watching, but also a little slow catching on sometimes.
Your awesome Sasha! **All the nerd loves!
I really like Sasha! She's so chill but still funny and knowledgeable. Another great vid.
Another great video with my Sasha
Wow. I didn't know Sue Storm was a Judo master.
I didn't know either. It's really cool.
It's really not that surprising. Most superheroes are trained in some form of martial arts and combat
She isn't.
I didn’t know it’s a superpower
Wow what a list I love it
Yeah this video was great.
Top 10 static shock facts
Michael Ross fact 1: they need to bring that show back. Fact 2: better than the DCEU
in the 70s Wonder Woman show she could impersonate other people by mimicking their voices. Is it still a thing cause I haven't seen it.
No, it was just a cheap way to give her another power for a 70's show without a lot of special effects
@@dabigdikdangler okay
And also I love the videos keep it up
Wonder Woman's god mode when she removes her bands. That was from the new 52.

Top 10 greatest superheroes of all time
Please keep on asking.
I can see it being something similar to this (no these aren't my favorites)
10. shazam
9. Spawn
8. Wolverine
7. Wonder woman
6. The flash
5. Daredevil
4. Captain America
3. Spiderman
2. Batman
1. Superman
Spider Man beats Superman on these lists but they are usually top 2
Skeleton Crew how do you have Superman at 1st 😂 so u know any other hero’s. Deadpool is easily first then Spider-Man than Thor than hulk than sentry than spawn then then beyonder then etc
Not sure if it’s forgotten or just ignored or under used, but STORM HAS MAGICAL POTENTIAL!! I really wish writers would explore this more. Plus she can use water molecules in the air to bend light & make herself and others invisible, control water currents, separate hydrogen and oxygen molecules to breathe underwater, she was a cage fighter, and who can forget, a master lock pick & thief. Side note: I’d love to see a one shot comic or limited series with all marvels thieves trying to steal the same thing for different purposes. That would be a fun read.
Agreed.
Ur the best Sasha !!!
Writers change the heroes to fit the situation they put them in. Sometimes even villains are changed as well. It is all done in order to make a real challenge for the hero. That is no doubt why Superman had to wear a space suit to fly in outer space so many years ago in the comics.
Has anyone actually sat down and asked themselves how does the Flash see when his speed has often been shown to exceed the speed of light? If he's moving faster than light, how does his sight actually work? Is he seeing into the future? What's the deal here?
I'm going to give you the answer you would get asking a DC writer. Speed Force
You are awesome!
Hello Gorgeous Ms. Wood. Can you do top 10 on Image "Ant" powers and weakness?
What about Deadpool and his nightcrawler like teleportation????
Its not a super power he has a machine for it
dont want to end up in a star fox situation
my brain: doing barrel rolls?
Top 10 Alien Superhero’s
Even though they haven't made that video. Others would probably point out the Scary Alien Superhero video's recently made and on top of that point out that Superman would be number one on that list since he was born on Krypton but raised on Earth..
If starfire isn’t #1 I am suing
I even forgot about their other powers, thanks for reminding!
I like it and there need to be more
At some point(i think pre crisis) Wonder Woman had super breath like superman
Nikan Achaemenian which Crisis? There's like 50 of them now, right?
Did she get that “Constant Vigilance” line from Barty Crouch, Jr.?
2:47 ( top 10.2 Sue Storm, appearing on the same page with top 9 character from another comics)
Top 10 Aquaman villains
One of the best stories, with Reed Richards changing his appearance, would have to be FF Vol.1 #276 "Evening of the Witch".
Aqua man doesnt get the respect he deserves it's not like all he can do is talk to fish hes fast super strong fights well alone or on a team and more and all that's times 3 when he is in the water
He does, ever since his movie came out.
How about Top 10 Inter-Company Crossovers We Wish Would Happen?
Or another top 10 Inter-Company Ships? (Turn to Super-Team Family: The Lost Issues for two great ones: WW/Cap, and the Power Couple!)
Flash is essentially a genius brain moving faster than a computer
Strictly dumplings 🥟
Intro song 😂
Top 10 Shazam villains
Much love Shasa!!!
Please make part 2 🙏
Yes please.
Can you please do a video on lady shiva the bat-family
Peter got the organic webbing BEFORE he "died" from Morlun. He got it during the Spider-man: Disassembled arc where he turned into a giant spider for a bit.
Aquaman being an omniglot is news to me. It is rather cool though. His danger-sense ability is not widely known. I don't remember it being used in print since his legendary fight with KGBeast back in the 90s
so wonderwoman can also talk to fish?
I remember the beginning of the Aquaman movie where Aquaman was speaking in Russian. Made me smile. I also thought it was a recent addition to his character.
It seems I remember Gambit used to have a fast talk ability that would mesmerized people and distract them.
He did... for some reason.
We love you Sash💙
About the "feel colour" thing, it is possible for Daredevil to do it. There is a condition that messes up with people's senses, like they can taste or smell words on a book for example, or they can see sounds. Maybe Daredevil does too.
That's good you brought that up Daredevil his forgotten power. Is voodoo ... skin turns pale white summons a Fogs .. in which he moves around like a ghost and do finishing moves
Zatanna can cast basic spells, such as teleportation and element manipulation, without speaking.
Storm's TV and cinematic versions doesn't show off her ability to "see energy". It's just like her shining eyes are a simple visual effect.
Superman has a lot of powers we doesn't see in the adaptations.
Magik can summon demons. We didn't see her doing so out of the comics.
You'll need a part two and three, 'cause we have a lot to see about that subject.
Hello Ms. Wood (I know I'm making some assumptions, but I'm going with it.) When Gambit debuted, he had a persuasive ability when he spoke to people. (sort of like Charmspeak) After awhile they had him stop using it. Here are a few suggestions.

You should work for the channel they’d never run out of ideas
@@Michael-wz2es thank you
Awesome suggestions. I hope this channel acts on all of them.
Your pheromones are good, Sasha!
you forgot about black canary's flight
wut? The only time I ever knew BC to fly, was in our yards as kids - mum quickly forebade screaming so we pushed our friend off the cubbyhouse roof instead. Never have I ever seen Dinah fly in the comics (being a GL does not count btw)
I've seen many of these Abilities showcased in Cartoons, Games, and otherwise.
Mr.fantastic had the shapeshifting ability in LEGO marvel superheros 1
Powers come and go.
One of the constants of the comic book world.
wonder woman can breathe through her skin underwater. they used it in a Justice League of America story in the 60's.
I'm so glad that you said the name of the channel, cause with all the unnecessary fake snow I thought this was a fake channel
Spiderman got his organic webbing on the Spiderman disassembled story arc not on the other
Darkhawk had Wolverine spikes that he would shoot out attached to cables. He used them to swing around like Spider man. When he started flying instead of gliding he just stopped using them.
In the latest fantastic four movie, Mr fantastic (more like teen fantastic) changes his face
Spiderman got his organic webbing from being turned into a spider by Adriana "Ana" Soria or The Queen. This happen right before the Other storyline so it is easy to lump them together. During the Spider Island story Peter said he can still shot organic webs but it takes a special diet to keep up with. A lot of sticky foods and milk. He uses his web shooters instead because of not being able to keep track of what he eats.
Spider Man also has spikes come out of his wrist that came from the Other storyline. I thought that would make the list.
I actually liked the organic webbing idea. They should've kept that
#10: Thank John Bryne during his tenure on FF for some of Sue's powers upgrades.
#1: Again in a John Bryan issue when Reed, Sue and Franklin was trying another identity to get out of the public eye. Reed was seen shaping his face in front of Franklin to take on his new identity.
#7: In a story which Barry's assistant was caught in a similar chemicals spill that also gave her super speed. Because it was different chemicals her speed power went out of control and caused destruction.
And it didn't happened. It was all in Barry's head as he was thinking of the possibilities of what would happen if his assistant got splash with the chemicals. He got her out of the way before it happen.
#5: Originally ALL Atlantians did telepathic communication (how else could one talk under water) In one of the DC animated series Garth was seen talking telepathly.
Following Fall of the Mutants, eight X-Men became invisible to machines such as cameras (Wolverine, Havok, Colossus, Longshot, Dazzler, Rogue, Psylocke and Storm), but this was forgotten around 270. Some blame the Siege Perilous, but Dazzler is shown to possess the power after those events.
Sasha, is that the What If where Reed was just a big brain, Sue stretched, Johnny was called Mandroid & Ben had dragon wings?
I LOVE that issue! 😃
Yes it is!!
It makes perfect sense for Daredevil to feel colors spiders are able to feel individual light photons on their bodies
I love sash. She is smart and funny. That beginning with writers and powers they don't like cracked me up. "You know what.. no"
Do a top 10 sexy super villain/hero
You one of the best narrators of this channel ever!! You rock!!👍🏾
Please make a top ten black canary facts from dc
3:19 :v same, lol ~
Spidey didn’t get the organic webs in The Other. He got them during Avengers Disassembled, when the Queen kissed him, turned him into a giant Spider, then gave birth to himself (Not Kidding) and found himself with organic webbing.
Also the organic webbing is still mentioned post One More Day, most notably during Spider Island
Speaking about Reed Richards, back in the 90s DC had a superhero who could change is features as well, even though he didn't stretch. He has since returned recently in Justice League. Yet they have yet to show that power. The Superhero is Starman, Will Payton.
7:05 if Magneto can also become invisible then Risotto Nero is definitely a nerfed Magneto
1) for this list you could do a list just about Superman of the Silver Age.
2) Elongated Man also has elastic organs. That's how he survived an explosion.
3) That's why Wonder Woman is a vegan.
Do riddler
And also the flash can control his heartbeat
Control is an over statement but her can speed it up so fast to make it's sell like its not movie
It wasn't the Other comic when Spidey got his organic webbing. It was in a Avengers Disassemble comic tie in and it was from some evil spider queen who impregnated him when she kissed him. It's as strange as it sounds.
The early Superman could mold his features!.Back I'm the 30s!
Top Ten Facts About Daisy Johnson
I can't recall the details but I remember Reed once molded his brain to resemble Xavier's so he could use Cerebro.
