Chicago is so much better than New York. New York's streets are dirty and the streets (unless they're highways) are only 1 laners. While here in Chicago, the whole downtown area looks modern. The streets are nice and big, the street signs are clean of graffiti, and you got nice stores like Gucci right there in the streets. The city preserves a lot of trees in Chicago; they're even kind enough to light some of them up for tourists. Beautiful city. Love it here.

Jay, It's something related to the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. Nothing is happening. Cpd routinely turns on their lights to make people obey traffic rules. Studies have shown that blue lights also calm people, which means less reckless driving. So them driving or siting on the median with their lights on is normal. The cops when they turn on their siren and swerve like that its to clear an intersection. Michigan Avenue can get crowded to the point cars sit in the middle of the intersection and block the green light for the other cars and pedestrians. That's their way of making cars move to clear the path Also this looked like it was before the Lights Festival since the trees on Michigan Avenue aren't lit. They did it until they eventually closed the street. Yes the cops seem to bully but its Cpd. Also Chicago has more cops per square mile than any city in America. Around 47 per sqaure mile to LA's 16. So seeing them stick together in groups of two or three sqauds without any emergency isn't uncommon. I've seen it a couple times
@@justdrive5327 I live here and it is almost impossible to be pulled over downtown for just a traffic interaction haha. They have better things to be doing
