it's an adjective, not a noun. a female person is a woman. the term "female" started being used to describe women of color to dehumanize them and make it seem okay for those women to do slave labor but not white women. there is a historical tie to that word and dehumanizing and degrading women. people aren't "too sensitive" we're just pushing back against misogyny. google is free, i suggest you try learning about women's history instead of judging people because you're too ignorant and unaware to understand. god, i wish more people used their brains.

If they were to ignore or avoid each other, then I would say that they hooked up. But if they are just shy around each other, I think she might have feelings for him and told him. Why do I think that ? He sent the flowers to his mom. If he had feelings for his friend, he would have sent her the flowers...either to sweeten her up or to apologise for an unwanted advance. That is just how I see it...

In today's clown world where nobody can define a woman or what a woman is, I think it should be perfectly acceptable to refer to a female as a female, and a male as a male.
female is an adjective, not a noun. a female person is a woman. google is free, you easily could have figured out the difference and why referring to women as females is dehumanizing.
Maybe it's the opposite of what she thinks and they are planning her proposal!
Would have been hilarious if the boyfriend sent the flowers to his best friend. And in the letter he said, "Thank you for helping me put together the most wonderful proposal for Avery, she is going to love it!"

I have a scene on some of the other Rose's radio shows they have called and they have still sent the flowers to a mother or sister cousin. So it doesn't seem like it is the fact that they're doing it by email. It takes a little bit of strategy from the girl who calls in to make sure she's not calling in when a family member has a birthday LOL
