Don't know what rock u been under.. They have a big following.like the dead ... I've seen um 47x. All around this country.... From Maine to Cali to fla.....best traveling band ever. ..go serum once promise you you will not sit in your seat the whole show ...promise
Same here with me - 70ish now and never heard of WSP till a couple days ago. But I 👍 ALL the covers of ‘classics’ I’ve since heard that I grew up with!
went to Alpine valley Wisconsin to see bob Dylan in "96 on a spur of the moment sunday while visiting friends in Chicago.... back-up band had WSP on their amps and PAs.. I asked my buddy- "who's this band? 21 shows for me and counting later, it's 2017. My FAVORITES of all time from a 60 yr old hippie
I'm over 60 years old and I pride myself on my musical taste and my musical knowledge. I've heard Widespread Panic these days for the first time and everything changed. I love them. My new all time favorite band.
I’m 70ish and just heard of 👍 WSP a couple days ago too. We’re similar in that I also pride myself on MY own vast knowledge and taste in ALL music genres and artists/bands - from before I was born, up to now. I have a photographic memory and recall the lyrics to every song I’ve heard (and liked), even if I haven’t listened to them for a long time. This group is now a new favorite of mine to add to my already huge existing collection! It was by 🍀 that a video of theirs showed up on my YT recommended list the other day AND I actually played it out of curiosity - had I not, I’d have missed out on this great 🌟 ‘current’ band (which is rare imo for most of music today’s music). * It’s true that if you don’t try something new at least once, you’ll never know 🤷♀️ what, if anything, you’re missing!
WOW - IDK 🤷♀️ why there haven’t been MORE views, 👍, and comments (esp. recent ones) on this 7-year old WSP 🌟 video!? I’m 70ish and heard of them for the 1st time a few days ago, and been listening to a LOT more since. Luckily 🍀 a video of theirs showed up on my YT channel feed and I played it out of curiosity, not knowing what to expect. Little did I know how they 🤩 would be - for me at least!
Stop and listen to the communication..hey thanks your performance and choice of WORDS were not easy..nicholas Collora youtube collaborated your experiences..
I like Widespread Panic in small doses. (one of my brother's favorite bands). This tune was well done, still sometimes they just look disinterested. If they looked like they gave a darn, I might like them more. This song is all about giving a darn.
There was another youtube video of WSP out there doing the same tune a little while back, 3 years or so ago and it disappeared. Really good. this is a close 2nd to me but they are both good. Anyone remember that one? I wonder why it vanished. So glad to have found this one!
I wanna say they've been to Germany, but it would be worth a trip across the pond to see a Halloween or NYEs show, you have my word you won't go home disappointed!
John Farmer Bell is his name! He’s also coolest singer/man on the planet with some mean licks in him that might surprise you if you weren’t already aware!
J. Anderson - Your grandkids can't even remember how the wheel's on the bus go let alone stringing more than 2 chord's together w/ out making anything but noise.
Jeramie Anderson you are a douche bag you shouldn’t say that about anybody‘s musical talent never put anybody’s musical talent down and by the way are your grandchildren on stage doubt it but if they are please pass on the bands name and let’s see if they’re capable of rocking it and because you didn’t mention them I had imagined No such luck in that matter but reasons being everybody’s grandchildren is the best in everything in one day they’ll become president because they’re capable of anything because let’s face it our grandchildren right In layman’s term there are the bees knees mother fucker now say you’re sorry you’re a douche bag but if I read all this wrong and you were being sarcastic I apologize but if not do us all a favor grab a bottle of baby powder and pimp slap your ass and buy as I mean across your face bomb Diggity

The rhythm guitarist is also the lead singer. This video didn't show much of the bass.
John Farmer Bell is his name! He’s also coolest singer/man on the planet with some mean licks in him that might surprise you if you weren’t already aware!
Jimmy. BMF.
Wow, not even close to Buffalo Springfield ! Jim is talented though.
Drummer botched it robotically chunking that hi obnoxious hi hat through the whole damn song
Great song, but shit my grandchildren could do a better version.
