- Ringo Starr sings "never Without You", his heartfelt tribute to George Harrison, written by Ringo Starr, Gary Nicholson and Mark Hudson. The guitar solo was played on the record by Eric Clapton. Video was directed by Brent Carpenter
Ringo and George were best friends you can tell Ringo misses him
.George and John even played on Ringos song "I'm the Greatest" (Words and Music by John)
@@tieukhavu8832 GH wrote It dont come easy also
Beatles eram George e Ringo nesta ordem.
Джордж очень помогал Ринго.
I love Ringo's voice, he is a very underrated performer
IDK man I wouldn't say he's underrated. He was 25% of the Beattles, one of the most celebrated bands of all time.
Well he was the drummer but without his beats the music of the beatles would be rather diffrent
I don’t think he’s under-rated as he’s proven himself greatly in his solo career with his All Star Band. Although he hasn’t written the amount of songs the other Beatles have, he is still a great entertainer in his own right as everyone can’t be a carbon copy of each other as all 4 Beatles have demonstrated in their solo careers. When the Beatles broke up, John Lennon was worried about how Ringo would fare, but as time went on he became confident that Ringo would be alright.

I'm glad to learn that John cared and was concerned about his friend.
He is not underrated he is the best, I mean, Starr, not best. Oh u get it don’t u? Lol
The fact that he's playing alone in a suit in an empty stage and stadium brings an even deeper sadness to this. Ringo used to talk about how he always had vivid memories when he hears their old songs, him on the stage, the whole world in front of them, and the backs of his brothers. As the lead singers and guitarists are always facing forward, it was a unique view that only him as the drummer ever gets to witness. Can't imagine what must've gone through his head in this moment. This time when the song is over, there is nobody who turns back and smiles at him anymore.
Wow. Ok, that just made me cry. Beautiful sentiment, and so very true.
Awesome work
For me he is truly a hero.He lost his friends,his wife,and he is still here,making music,making memories,making confession,making songs.
..his EXwife.
Barbs is alive and well...
Bro, when I read your comment I thought you said “making soups” at the end. I was confused but at the same time not.
Me: Never without You... also!
@@pedropolanco9042 oh yeah,great investigation skills,you have. I liked the song,but I don't want to hear it again.
I had never realized that this line"I know all things must pass And only love will last" is used because thats the title of a song that George wrote in his solo career, also "Whithin you without you" from the Beatles. This song is more special now than ever.
Also here comes the Sun
Also you can hear 2:47 a bit from George's song "what is life" in indian style, a reference to his love of indian music from Beatles days and throughout his life
also in 1:34 " here today " Pauls song to John
@【ᴍᴄᴄᴀʀᴛɴᴇʏ】 George always defended his brother Ringo :(
'I Dig Love is about you", also another reference to a Harrison song from All Things Must Pass
This is a beautiful tribute to his friend, but it breaks my heart... I wish George could be here to see it. He would be so proud. It's not my first time hearing the song, but I just noticed the lyrical references to George's music - how sweet of Ringo.
Same, when i heard this song i was a kid maybe 10, or 12 years old. I liked it but i had never payed attention to the lyrics. Its really smart how they used the song titles.
J
Love George, wish he was still here .beautiful man x
I think he must be dropping a tear for this one from up
Maybe the music is reaching George.
I heard the first 3 words and the tears began to fall.
Same buddy!
me too
same to me...crying the Song through and was proud that Ringo says or singsGeorge aliveright now...
It's so beautiful 😭
This is probably the song in which we can clearly hear Ringo and his feeling the most..
The drumming, the beat, the lyrics, and the melody. So Ringo..
Ringo isn't the best singer, but when he sings, he pours out all his feelings, and that's what makes this song so beautiful!
Amazing lyrics... "Within You Without You... Here Comes the Sun is about you... You played a beautiful melody, that keeps on haunting me. And you're song will play on without you. And this world won't forgot about you. Every part of you was in your song..."
Ringo wrote the most beautiful & meaningful tribute to George.....George lives on & on & on..............Beatles forever.
I so love this song! Among the Beatles, George & Ringo have the most intimate friendship. Ringo even cancelled his group tour just to see George in his home during his trying times...
" "Here Comes The Sun" is about you..."
Holy God does that line make me cry
The love prabu George brought is most certainly brighter than any sun, jai harinama!🕉️
It says "Here comes the song it's about you"
Wonderfull song, I love all the references to George Harrison's songs like "within you without you" ,"here comes the sun", "all things must pass" it makes me so sad. Beatles Forever
He doesn't say "Here Comes the Sun". He says "Here comes the song"
@@tommydimopoulos6484 Here comes The sun is about you.
Il testo del brano cita numerose canzoni di Harrison: Here Comes the Sun dell'album Abbey Road[3], I Dig Love e All Things Must Pass di All Things Must Pass[4], Within You Without You di Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band[5], oltre che Here Today[6], omaggio di Paul McCartney a Lennon, apparso sull'album Tug of War del primo[7]. Anche la melodia del riff di What Is Life, brano di All Things Must Pass, appare nel brano[4].
when he mentioned within you without you I cried
Here comes the sun...is about you!
George was my favorite, i miss his music
I'm in tears. George is my favourite beatle. Heartfelt tribute, love you, Ringo.
Ringo being the oldest and George being the youngest, and still...George always stood up for his "little brother". Those two had an amazing and beautiful friendship. Ringo trully misses his brother George :(
Yeah, George got a black eye from protecting Ringo from angry crowd...
You played a beautiful Melody
Just for 2 years so isnt like 15 years of difference, for talk about the big and the little brother XD.
They were just two friends from a group of 4 friends and the best band of the histroy
I'm crying it's tooooooo sad 😢
it was just life that we took for granted . When we went to the Cavern we just had a good time listening to the groups and dancing,No booze or drugs just a great time, there where lots of great bands then who just never made it that should have one of which Roy Storm and the Hurricanes top band back then also Big Ted Taylor great groups each & every one.
I'm glad I kept my Cavern membership card It's proof that yes I was a part of that awesome time. Seems like Yesterday now I know what Paul ment.
+BJJ Awesome that you were even there! I am in Michigan USA so what did I know, lol.
I don't think it is sad... Love and Friendship can not be sad, even trough death...
It is, very nostalgic, (my french is bad): c'est surtout touchant.
peep he make me cry too....
Can i help?...
Great song. And having Clapton playing the solo is icing on the cake. Nice.
That's not Clapton in the video, is it?
@@chipgaasche4933 yeah I think. He has his Blackie guitar. Plus him and George were good friends
@@joshuaherpolsheimer3541 everyone knows george and eric were good friends..that just doesn't look like clapron to me. Anyone know for sure?
@@chipgaasche4933 I don't think that's Eric in this one. There's another UA-cam video where Ringo talks about the song, Eric and shows Eric playing with them. Great one to watch too.
@@chipgaasche4933 No, for sure that's not Eric Clapton in this video. Don't know who it is, though.
I was very reluctant to watch this because I thought I would cry
My predictions where correct I'm sobbing
This is such an amazing song! I really like the part "I know all things must pass, and only love will last" because it's so true! ☮✌🏻♥
"Here Comes The Sun was about you" got my eyes wet.
Best song of ringo ever
ultrakamaq m
Oh, come on, ultra. That's absurd.
Only song of Ringo ever

I'm crying... It breaks my heart... George & Ringo 4ever... Love one another... Together for nearly 40 years... Fabulous boys... Can we really live without each other???
J LORI Like John said "Death is as simple as getting out of one car and into another! Our bodies are but vehicles for our souls!" It hurts sooooo much loosing loved once but we will see them again!
Tom nr 1 I guess john left in from one hell of a wrecked car accident into the other!
R.I.P. George Harrison
Hes a sweetheart and a fabulous singer.Love him from the beatles
I love Ringo. .but he's NOT a "fabulous singer".
@@chipgaasche4933 correct. Hes a FAB singer
@@MichaelMyers-vj4wl even better
I love when he says 'Within you without you. Here comes the sun is about you.' And 'I know All things must pass.' Mentioning George's songs. Great song.
Great tribute Ringo.
Dear Ringo, I think this song is a memory of The Beatles and a very nice tribute to George. But you 4 guys were always my and many others long haired idols from Liverpool. Especially you and John, I grew up with you and I still am fan of you. Thanks for all the beautiful songs and fine memories.
Where ever I go, I go never without you!
Ringo have the one of the bests souls ever! Thanks for remember George in this wonderful song! *i want cry
Love this song!
Ringo has said:I loved George and George loved me!
If only I could camp out in Ringo's memory bank for a few days. What on Earth must it be like to have been in the middle of that era??
Ringo wrote a moving, heart felt tribute to his brother George. I love it.
A beautiful tribute to a beautiful human being, George Harrison!
Brought tears to my eyes. Best song Ringo has ever written. Such authentic emotion.
I first heard this song on my second Ringo concert July '08. It touched me deeply. I cried. I'm sure George is listening.
In the Beatles...
John was the brain
Paul was the face
George was the soul
and Ringo was the heart
I'd argue that John was the face and Paul was the actual brain, but John had a lot of ideas. Agreed that George was the soul and Ringo was the heart.
love the song !!!!!!
love you George, love you Ringo!
How can one not love Ringo?
What a lovely tribute. Touching.
Never thought that Ringo would make me cry one day ... :'-(
Such a beautiful song, I wish George was still here too.
Great Job Ringo, we all miss him.
It's so sad and beautiful, I cried😢 RIP George Harrison. We miss you😭
What a beautiful song for his friend George Harrison 🙏🏻
One of the best tribute songs I've ever heard.
Ringo's goodbye to his very good friend...R.I.P. George
the feels. they were close friends, and like he said, we won't forget about him.
Love this song! I love all the Beatles -- rest in peace, George and John. I cannot believe they're gone ... still after all these years. Almost 30 (!) for John. They live on in their music always. We were fortunate to have them and to still have Ringo & Paul. Beatles Forever!!!!
one of the best Ringo's solo songs... such a wonderful tribute to his late friend George!!
Ringo is the youngest and coolest OAP ever!!
We need more Ringo Starrs and George Harrisons in this world.
George and Ringo became friends in Hamburg, before Ringo joined the Beatles. Their frienship goes back a long way.
Damn you, Ringo, for making me cry. Such a heartfelt song.
I literally can't watch this or hear this song without crying. This is the meaning of true friendship. Thank you Ringo for such an emotionally moving tribute to one of the best rock personalities of all time! Love and miss you always lovely George. 😥💔💘
Ringo is one of the most underrated musicians today.
This song, like most of Ringo’s songs, is phenomenal!
He is just as talented as his brothers - John, Paul & George.
He has always been a tremendous wordsmith. Many Beatles songs came about becuz of him - A Hard Days Night is a great example.
The boys often credited his great wit & words.
He’s the greatest drummer ever & quite the song writer!
He also plays a multitude of instruments!
He was the most affable Beatle & that has been his strength & weakness coz people didn’t take him as seriously as they did the others.
He’s now in his 80s & is as physically active as a man in his 50s!
His voice is still strong & clear, where many aging rock stars can’t sing anymore.
Sadly, Paul has lost a good bit of his once incredible voice. Ringo, however, kicks a$$ as strongly today as he did in the 1960s!
Peace & Love, Ringo!
That's one of the best Ringo songs Ive heard, greatest drummer ever. "Peace and Love"
You can clearly hear his singing and his drumming, prolly better n anywhere else. Love it!
What a beautiful, touching song about genial, kind George (I can't find words for all the other things I want to say about George, it's difficult to choose adjectives for such a special person and musician!)! Thank you so much, Ringo, and it shows how you and the other Beatles were real friends (maybe I sould say "are", real friendship never dies!). I never doubted you four were/are true friends, not just members of the best band ever, and the fact you were/are friends is SO beautiful! Thank you again!
Catarina Coelho Much like George Im into spirituality! But not in organized religions. I know they are around us our loved once! Life is so short compared to the eternal souls we have! This world is very dark and fearful but in Georges and Johns and the Beatles songs I see the beauty in life as well! I lost my 3 childhood friends and best friends! We had a band playing Beatles and Rolling stones covers etc. They died by different reasons in their 30s! I really identify with Ringo and Paul who lost their closest friends! RIP Chris, Carl and Mark my dear brothers!
I have been a Beatles fan for 55 years -- yet somehow I had never heard this song until today -- what a moving tribute to George from Ringo. "Every part of you was in your songs", Ringo sings -- and truer words were never uttered. It sure puts a lump in my throat. Happy Birthday Ritchie -- and Happy Birthday to me too.. we're both 7/7's
This song almost made me cry! I love you George. Almost ten years later and we still miss you so much. You made the world a brighter place with you being in it.
aww. Ringo's a good friend, and he obviously misses George.
Wouldn't the world be great if all the Beatles where still with us?
Love this sweet song, a fine tribute to his mate
Beautiful tribute to do for a friend!
Beautiful song for his friend George.
as a fellow scouser we are all very proud of ringo very underated singer "good on ya lad"
A sad song because John and George is gone too soon!
I cry from this song
it gets my frustrated that alot people talk smack about Ringo as a musician.... HE IS GREAT
The heartcry of a beautiful soul. It's made of the stuff which made us love the Beatles.
I just heard this song for the first time and it's wonderful! You have to love each and every one of those four guys because the whole isn't complete without any one of them! Great tribute to George!
ringo really luv George Harrison.....ringo is one of the best
I cant imagine that I´m running for 40, already? Life´s to fast! And I cant imagine a world without Ringo and Paul? Whats this life about? Heartaches and loosing friends and seeing the best musicians in the world (John and George) pass away to soon?: (
Ringo is so classy & talented. Mr. Cool ✌️❤️✌️❤️
Such a beautiful tribute! Thaank you, Ringo! Never without our beautiful George!❤
Good job Ringo that's an amazing song
George was my favorite Beatle.
Great tribute by ringo
This song remembers me how important is the REAL FRIENDSHIP and no matter if you haven't got friends... just remember your childhood.
I love Ringo so much 💖

Bravo Sir Ringo
Bravo...you make me cry!!!
You have the Soul of the Beatles...
you have the soul and the heart of the beatles because you are part of the fundamental you are the symbol of union and brotherhood. long live ringo and paul, The beatles live forever
Actually the least famous beatles, but the one with the biggest heart in the ban!
Simply the best band ever .At 60 years young i was there .Thank you boys .
I'm not ashamed to admit this I am a guy and I almost cried myself hearing this song. RIP George and long live Ringo.
A WHAT IS LIFE REFERenCE IN THERE just before the All Things Must Pass bit!! Love you Ringo!
Beautiful song
What a great song! Man I miss those Beatles. Sent shivers down my spine! Loved it!!
Who says that Ringo wasn't creative? He's a fantastic artist!
This is definitely for George Harrison! No doubt about it!! RIP Love and Blessings to a great Lovely Man ∞
beautiful song & tribute to George. Beatles are gone but not forgotten.
Ringo is 1 of 4 of the GOAT!
I've been using this song to comfort me when things go really, REALLY bad for me, and it works everytime; as such, this is definitely my favorite song from any of the Beatles' solo careers, and possibly even my favorite of all their works as a whole, together or solo.
Thank you for everything that you have done with liitle help from your Beatles brothers, dear Ringo! I will never forget about it!
This makes me heartwarming.... So good old memories
Ringo you and George had that special connection that not many people get he is part of you and you of him and you will be together again
Love Ringo singing this song 🥁💖
Flawless tribute...from a Genius to another.Beautiful lyrics
A stirring, chilling song. Ringo's best, BY FAR! Fantastic. Thanks for sharing!!!
George was under rated as a Beatle because he shared the stage with 2 giants...its like trying to shine a light when youre standing next to the sun...but George was the thinking man's Beatle. always had a soft spot for George. miss him
This song made me cry. Ringo and George were like "brothers" since when The Beatles started.
