After Effects Tutorial - Text Blur Reveal

Here’s a way to do a quick blur reveal for your text layer. Start by going into the text options to click the Animate button and select Blur. By Animator 1, select the Add Property button and choose Opacity.
Now, set the blur to whatever you desire. Then, put Opacity to 0.
Next, go under Range Selector to set Offset keyframes. Make a keyframe for -100% at the beginning of the timeline, and then a keyframe for 100% later on.
Finally, under Advanced, change the Shape setting to Ramp up. Now you have a slick blur reveal. If you toggle Randomize Order to On, the blur reveal will happen to letters in a different order.
