    Well if i’m non EU and graduated in EU, do I still have to hold the dental tests ?
    Since my diploma is already recognized in all EU countries. And actually studied 6 years…

      @visalibrary  6 місяців тому

      Yes, as a non-EU dentist who graduated in the EU, you may still need to pass dental tests or fulfill specific requirements to practice in Denmark, even if your diploma is recognized in all EU countries. Each country has its own regulations for practicing dentistry, including Denmark.

    I have done BDS four years course and my internship one year total five years so it is possible to come to denmark for dentist?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  4 місяці тому

      Yes, it's possible for you to come to Denmark and work as a dentist with your BDS degree and internship experience. To practice as a dentist in Denmark, you need to go through an authorization process, which involves getting your degree and qualifications recognized by the Danish Patient Safety Authority. The process varies depending on whether your qualification is from within the EU/EEA or from a non-EU/EEA country.
      For dentists trained outside the EU/EEA, the first step is to submit your degree to the Danish Patient Safety Authority for approval. If your qualifications are approved, you can proceed with the rest of the authorization process, which includes passing medical tests and possibly other requirements such as a language test and a course in Danish Health Legislation. If your qualifications are not directly approved, there might be an option to apply for credit transfer for study elements already passed if you wish to pursue further education in Denmark.
      Additionally, the Danish Patient Safety Authority provides specific steps for dentists from non-EU countries, including application and approval of qualifications, language testing, dental tests, a course in Danish Health Legislation, employment for adaptation and training purposes, and finally, permission to work independently.
      Ensure you stay informed about any updates or changes to the authorization process by checking the official websites regularly. This process ensures that you meet the Danish standards for practicing dentistry with care and conscientiousness, including effective communication with patients and other healthcare professionals.
      For more detailed information, you should directly consult the University of Copenhagen's guide for dentists educated outside of Denmark and the official Danish Patient Safety Authority website.

      If you're a dentist traveling to Denmark with a family on a D-visa from Pakistan, you will need a protector stamp on your passports. The protector stamp is a requirement by the Government of Pakistan for certain categories of workers and professionals going abroad for employment. It's advisable to get this stamp before leaving Pakistan.

      The DPSA (Danish Patient Safety Authority) authorization permit for dentists is typically valid for 2 years. After receiving your authorization, you should apply for your visa and plan to move to Denmark within that period to ensure your permit remains valid.

    If i come to Denmark as dentist and by any means could not clear dental licensing exam...then can we change our visa to astudy visa getting enrolled in university?
    Or can we work thete as dental hygienist?
    Or we have to return back to home country?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  5 місяців тому +1

      If you come to Denmark as a dentist and cannot clear the dental licensing exam, your options regarding changing your visa status or working in a related field depend on several factors, including your current visa conditions and Danish immigration laws at the time. Here are general guidelines:
      Changing to a Study Visa: It may be possible to change your visa to a study visa if you get enrolled in a university program in Denmark. This would typically require you to apply for a change in your residency status and meet the criteria for a student visa, including acceptance into a program and proof of financial support.
      Working as a Dental Hygienist: The possibility of working as a dental hygienist without passing the dental licensing exam depends on the specific requirements for dental hygienists in Denmark. You would need to check if your qualifications allow you to work in this role and if it requires a separate license or recognition of your qualifications.
      Returning to Your Home Country: If you cannot clear the licensing exam, cannot change your visa status, and do not qualify for any other employment within the terms of your current visa, you might have to return to your home country. However, this depends on your visa's conditions and whether any other options are available and viable under Danish law.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  3 місяці тому

      Yes, fresh graduates or dentists with 1 to 2 years of experience can apply to work in Denmark. However, you must have your dental qualifications recognized by the Danish Patient Safety Authority. Additionally, if your education was outside of the EU/EEA, you might need to pass a Danish language test and complete a clinical test of professional skills. It's advisable to start the recognition process early, as it can be quite lengthy.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  17 днів тому

      No, Denmark does not require you to put a specific amount of money in a Danish account to immigrate and work as a dentist. However, you must prove that you have sufficient funds to support yourself initially and meet the financial requirements for your residence permit application. Ensure you have enough savings to cover living expenses until you start earning a salary.

      @visalibrary  3 місяці тому

      Yes, you can apply to immigrate and work in Denmark as a dentist with your BDS degree and the completion of a 4-year course plus a 1-year internship. However, you'll need to meet specific requirements set by the Danish authorities, which typically include:
      Getting Your Qualifications Recognized: Your foreign qualifications must be recognized by the relevant Danish authorities. For healthcare professionals, including dentists, this usually involves applying to the Danish Patient Safety Authority for authorization.
      Passing Language Requirements: Proficiency in Danish is often required for healthcare positions. You may need to pass a language test or complete a language course to prove your proficiency.
      Applying for a Work Permit: If you're from outside the EU/EEA, you'll need to apply for a work permit. The specific permit and the application process may vary depending on your circumstances and qualifications.
      Finding a Job: It's typically necessary to have a job offer from a Danish employer in your field. Some positions may also require Danish authorization before you can start working.
      Compliance with Health Requirements: As a healthcare professional, you might need to fulfill certain health requirements or certifications to ensure you can practice in Denmark.
