you know, I'm also on the same boat lol. but I think you should figure out what you want to do first and what branch of IT you wanna do later on. I know that's not easy so if you still don't know what you're truly interested in, you can start with what you don't wanna do and that narrows down your choices. Then you can explore and research about the other roles in tech you wanna try out like networking, automation, software development, web, servers, AI, infrastructure, security etc. I hope this helps. For me I am really interested in automation so I'm taking up courses related to that

Hey there, well it really depends on the size, needs and operations of the company. Depending on these factors, some only needs one person and others could have an entire team. If the company deals with technology directly, they could be needing more people and a team of IT specialist. Also if the company requires on-call responsibility, they could add more people. I would say IT specialists are needed now more than ever as some companies are doing work from home. Companies need IT to support their remote operations now and IT Specialist is always a good stepping stone if you want to level up to another role in tech.

Hello Marisol, you can try to volunteer in computer shops or if you have your own PC you can read and watch about windows troubleshooting and try it out on your own computer like command lines for troubleshooting, resolving internet issues, play around with task manager, look into event viewer and research more about windows services that are useful for troubleshooting. an IT Support job is very broad too and it usually depends on the industry where you're applying. So I can't really give the "specifics" because every company has different needs. There's companies/industries that just uses windows, others majority would be macbook etc. Even the ticketing system also varies especially the technology they use. I can't say go and study CISCO when some companies uses Juniper, or learn JIRA when other companies uses Service Now. That's why I also said look in the job qualifications on what they're looking for. Yeah this is very generic because this was meant for those people looking into "getting in IT" or just trying to see if it's for them. So yeah sorry if this doesn't meet your expectations. There's probably other videos out there you could watch. Maybe one day I'll make a video about the "specifics" on getting an IT Support job in the financial tech industry where I'm currently working at so I have atleast something to say and not "talk a lot" Have a good day!

Very broad/generic "advice and tips." You're just guessing at everything and not going into specifics. "Build a resume."? Seriously? These tips can apply to any job and everyone already knows these basic things.

an IT Support job is very broad too and it usually depends on the industry where you're applying. So I can't really give the "specifics" because every company has different needs. There's companies/industries that just uses windows, others majority would be macbook etc. Even the ticketing system also varies especially the technology they use. I can't say go and study CISCO when some companies uses Juniper, or learn JIRA when other companies uses Service Now. That's why I also said look in the job qualifications on what they're looking for. Yeah this is very generic because this was meant for those people looking into "getting in IT" or just trying to see if it's for them. So yeah sorry if this doesn't meet your expectations. There's probably other videos out there you could watch. Maybe one day I'll make a video about the "specifics" on getting an IT Support job in the financial tech industry where I'm currently working at so I have atleast something to say and not "talk a lot" Have a good day!
