When he said he got his first kit at 13 and his first pair of doubles at 16, I was trully inspired because those are the exact same years I got my tools of destruction. I'm glad I have some more inspiration.
I'm highly disappointed at how many people think he's originally from dimmu and not cradle, If he was never in cradle, he would have never gone anywhere
Actually if he didnt hook up with the guys in cancer 1st as a drum tech backline and fill in session drummer things may have ended up in a completley different direction. Yes, it's very hard to replace Barker in DimmuBorgir, but that polish drummer they got at the moment either is damn good. Poland is known as metal kingdom but not in Poland -_-. Heil to all metalheads ! \m/ \m/

@@Vorgaloth I agree, Im ESL and thought he meant Nick would come back. Nick is my GOAT
@@Vorgaloth Mike Portnoy and Mike Mangini have all those ability.
A shame that he is not well at the moment. Hemodialysis and stuff...
An absolute monster behind the kit! His double bass sounds like a nest of machine guns firing all at once!
Nick Barker #1
You have surpassed them all.
I'd say so yes. I love Gene Hoglan, but I genuinely think that Nick tops him in sheer playing accuracy and speed.
Idk if he's surpassed pete. Fucker still kills it with terrorizer
Damn right

Ouwe Hand We shall flit through the shadows
Like a dream of (were)wolves in the snow
Under deadly nightshade
Still warmed with the kill's afterglow
Gene is more creative, but nick is more intense, both amazing drummers
Still number 1
I wonder if he picked up that splash/tom fill from Mcbrain?

Heard that the man's having a dangerous health issue right now...
I hope he's okay.
Nick Barker is the shit!!!
Its obvious he's influenced by Gene Hoglan.........If ya know what i mean!

he looks so "thin" here
Dislike belongs to the drummer from McFly
Buddy Rich is one of the best
@UnshackledMind86 They started sucking a long time ago. After their release of Puritanical, it all went downhill.
