As an American who grew up overseas, it was sad to watch this guy's unease when watching this video, it reminded me of my relatives here a little. There is no defending not giving parental(or at least maternity) leave to a full time waitress because she has a shitty job. I have no idea how you lack any and all sympathy for these people. It is taken out before you recieve your pay generally and it can vary in amount. Say someones wage is 65k a year, they will pay about 200-300 ish in taxes each week (or $11, 600 ish annually). Also at tax time if you dont have private health insurance, you pay a levy, again dependant on your income. Can be a few hundred again. If you earn under a threshold you can recieve all the tax you paid back. FOR paying all of that, we get unlimited healthcare for most things (not dental for adults etc). But it certainly pays itself even if someone has a child, considering it costs tens of thousands in america to do the same. You seek treatment if you need it, and dont have to avoid it because it will ruin your life financially. As well as many other benefits affored to those living in 'a socialist country'. haha It seems you guys still pay more than that just for health insurance.

Even the term “the right of the people” has been debated as who “the people” is referring to. Is it referring to the militia? All citizens? All people of the land in general? First the context of my comment. I am European and agree with most if not all of the message of this video. On the other hand, i must say that i also agree with some of your comment about it. This video had obvious biases in the way it was presented. Which in itself is not bad since it doesn't try to hide itself (or at least doesn't do a good job at it). But some things were of really poor taste, like for example the toy guns and the pastimes label. Contrary to some comments here in YT, i think that you tried to have an analytical (while human) view of the matter; biased of course by the fact that you grew and live in the focused country. But this is totally valid and fair from my point of view. Note that every country in the world would suffer dearly if put under fire as is the USA in this video. But some things have to be discussed, if they are to be mended.

It really seems that everytime there is a video about the US vs. the EU, it is done in order to show all the bad aspects of US culture (like your "pasttime" for school-shootin ROFL (that one mad me laugh so much XD)), but never the right ones though, like, idk, the global influence the US has on music, cinema and other arts ; or how the American constitution inspired many countries ; or how there are still millions of people who dream to live in the USA ; etc.
