In addition to what has been said about pro monitors, one should determine which color space is he using. Most of the time oks na ang 99-100% sRGB if what you are going to create will be exported online. Important thing to note din and understand about the different color spaces. Sometimes oks na din ang 72% NTSC since it is approximately 99%-100% SRGB. There's no need to go 4k as long as your monitor has the right color space, gamut, and accuracy. A 1080p monitor is enough for the general use case scenario. Posting this since budding professionals needs to know that they can start creating art or design with what is available to them. They just need to understand the fine print.
Hi, thanks for your input! Do you have some recommendations for good budget monitors? I am an illustrator and graphic designer and use both rgb and cmyk
For Professional part, mas priority yung monitor that can handle printers color profile when converting rgb to cmyk. Isa to sa mahirap pa rin hanapin. rgb is great if your work is for posting online or for viewing. But for work that need to be printed, cmyk or any color profiles that is near to it is much important. Finding the right monitor that has a printing color accuracy is still hard today.

When it comes to monitors for photography / creative work involving color accuracy, I always go for Dell monitors (and laptops). Most of their monitors cover higher color gamut lalo na for printed work. Maganda pa dyan, they always include a monitor color profile that you can use to calibrate your monitor. Been editing photos for weddings using Dell monitors for several years now and so far same color ang screen to print output versus using a gaming monitor. Also, 4K is a good feature though dapat capable din ang videocard na gamit mo. Though most print works that I use are printed in 8 x 10 sizes, 24" in 1080p resolution is more than enough. Maybe 4K will be more useful for those who print in large formats (billboards etc).
Dell ultra sharp series monitors are one of the best, they are a little pricey, don't have high refresh rate but worth it in terms of display quality and accuracy.
Go for IPS monitor if you will usually use it for content consumption and refresh rate is not a big deal for you. you should focus more on color accuracy, 60hz will do as long as you have a good panel you are good to go. but if you have extra money to spend go for ips/hdr/high refresh rate monitor (bit pricey)
For me, if you're really into fps gaming at least get a 24" 144hz monitor. It'll really help and put you into that next level experience especially if you're using a 60hz previously.

Tahnk you
I've been eyeing for 2k ips ultrawide monitor for months now but still undecided since I really don't know what the feeling of having a ultrawide or the feeling of immersion while playing. Might be a letdown and a waste money on that extra screen.
Any chance to have a ultrawide display at your shop HS? 😅 hehe
I had the chance to use the xiaomi ultrawide monitor sa mi store. It was awesome but since it's a va panel, i noticed some ghosting. I'm also planning to upgrade to an ultrawide but contemplating pa since back to f2f na kami so I wouldn't be able to use it that much, and va ultrawide pa kaya sa budget atm HAHAHA
we don't have any on stock now but we can custom order if you let us know the model :)
was also wary about using an ultrawide but when I got lent one it was amazing ua-cam.com/video/l-ZLmUOMORc/v-deo.html

Ngayon ko lang nalaman yung freesync and gsync. Lol
Xitrix 4k monitor review po
Lodi worth it ba bilhin for gaming ang 144hz pero viewplus ang brand?
Siguro same or lower quality ng nvision o hikvision monitors. May viewplus 165hz na kasi for 5k at for sure marami silang pagcut corners na ginawa para maibaba ang price 😅
@@humphrey7680 goods kaya un? 5k php
