her office just got my insurance and thai pass, can't wait to visit again, starting bangkok, The Continent Hotel, June 6, then a couple islands, phuket, udon thani, up to laos, back to islands south of pattaya, then Pattaya, back to bangkok, then back to the US. Her office and staff is great.

I traveled 2 twice to Thailand this year, 3 weeks each time.
Now I am waitinf the next step. Coming back in a normal life...without facial mask to live our trips like before, Thailand is more beautifull without this piece of coton...

I so much agree with you forget all restrictions forget covid ensurance,
I read that some not understand why more tourists not come well forget all restrictions forget thai pass, forget covid ensurance, make Campaigns , maybe offer something to the tourist, can be cheaper airplane tickets or cheaper hotels or something else.
I think tourist can come again but it cost something, and thats hard work.
I am sure the thais want to do that but the things we still have to do in order to enter Thailand is keeping many people at home or they go elsewhere.
Ok when all this is said what happens now is atleast better then before.
Hopefully it will soon be like before,.

We were in Thailand January - March 2022 with Tourist Visa (with your recommended Health Insurance - $100,000!!!), and plan to return for December - January (TR-Visa). We will see what happens then.
However, we are watching closely what is happening now as 2 of our Teenage Granddaughters (non-Thai) who have lived most of their life in Thailand are coming to visit us (Oregon/USA) for June and July. It will be interesting to see how to get them back to their brothers and sisters (& Parents!) in August. Right now they must, even with their Family Visa, do the Thailand Pass to return, but who knows what will happen in August???? :)
I hope the will lift the Covid-19 Insurance

Even applying it now is not difficult at all.. Get everything ready, submit, then go to sleep.. Thailand pass is be ready when I wake up from my sleep the next day.. Already applied for June.. ☺️

Im staying in Samui for 46 days ... So I have to do a Visa just for 16 days... it's online and it requires so many documents, proof of Bank, proof of electricity bills at your name and so on ... + the Thai pass ....
Im really disappointed its makes the process so difficult ...

Hello, we are planning to visit Bangkok and Phuket. We will arrive to Bangkok first, then go to Phuket and come back to Bangkok to return to US. I am just wondering if we need to apply Thailand pass twice or just once? Do we need to show Thailand pass when we fly from Phuket to Bangkok?
I have been declared as an BPD (borderline personality disorder) by my psychiatrist and I've also have a "disabled" person card issued by the gov of Malaysia. The law in Malaysia is: Mentally ill person regardless of what category cannot (buy) insurance. Wonder if I can buy the Covid 19 insurance if I wanted to visit Thailand through "border" in Bukit Kayu Hitam.

It depends on your symthom
Don't tell them and just stay in your room for a couple of days like the Thais do.

When you get you QR code , your insurance details and you vaccination information all correct , do you need to have all this information in “print “ form or can you just have it on your mobile to save carrying a lot of paperwork around on a long journey !
We visited in December last year and had a lot of problems when we did not have one item not printed and I just wanted to know if they are looking for it all in paper form considering that we are trying to all be environmentally friendly and save on waste for recycling ? Many thanks and each time we pass the chickens in Khao Lak up at the Wat beat the road the driver always toot on the car horn for respect 🙏

What about those people that got the Janssen 1 dose Covid19 Vaccine.
You mention that 2 doses is required. The Janssen or Johnson & Johnson is only a 1 dose deal. Please clarify.

Yes you need to apply Thailand pass with an insurance. If you use Thai passport, you will not have to apply Thailand pass.

How do I show my insurance when entering Thailand. Do i have to ask my insurance company to send me a statement in paper, that I`m covered min. 10,000 US. for Covid ? I have Insurance with my bank/insurance but it is proof only in my online banking. So do I have to ask for a plain paper version in English language ? I`m from Finland.

Let me see if you can answer this question nobody yet has been able to answer this question I already had covered and I recovered so I have a paper that says yep you got it and then I have a paper that says you're alright but they're not in English do they need to be in English?
No one cares about that. Don't tell anyone that you had COVID19. If you are vaccinated show your vaccinated card. That's it.

Hi sis, as long as you do not get out of the airport or pass the security check out station, and you remain inside waiting for an international transfer flight, you don't need Thailand Pass. Thailand Pass is needed if you will get out of the airport.

Hi Teya - I just returned home (Australia) from Thailand and it was fantastic- the Thailand Pass (Vaccine Certification and Travel Insurance) was no problem- very easy. Wearing a mask was annoying thou. And Thai people are so beautiful- Bangkok was very busy around Sukhumvit and Siam Square area. 👍😎
