How I really wish this and financial wellness is taught in school. Our country would probably be a little bit better if we were trained to handle money better.
This is how I explain my personal finances to my friends, wow! Each account/credit card/e-wallet has its own purpose. I can't believe we even use the same planner for the journal. It is therapeutic when doodling things down, right? Before I had a tickler notebook to list down all of my expenses for the day. Now, I use excel to keep things more organized and for easier computation. I still keep the journal for an overview of everything. And having a net worth spreadsheet is pretty amazing. I'm so happy to have seen this. Keep up the great work!
Also, my decision to be more meticulous about finances began when I watched Matt D'Avella's video (Simple Steps to Financial Freedom). Wala lang. Nakakatuwa lang na we share so much in common.
I discovered your account when I was researching about getting credit cards, now you've got me hooked and inspired to better manage my money. This is something I hoped that was taught in school, very essential topics. Thank you and keep on producing these kinds of videos to help other young adults like me. :)
I've had my spending tracker app since college. As an adult it's gotten more complicated to get a good overview of my finance bc my investments/e-wallets don't necessarily fall into the app categories I want to. Ang daming sub categories. I think it's time I make my own spreadsheet 😅
I love this! I really appreciate your videos thank you!! I just started formally monitoring my finances last year 2020. Thanks a lot for the shoutout, Charm! 😊 Grabe talaga the 4-step process! I wish I had the energy to be that meticulous. Haha. I can't believe it only takes you a few minutes to jot down your expenses everyday. Or maybe I'm just overthinking how long will it take if I do that. 😅

Good day Ms. Charm, I just want to ask for your thoughts about using piggy bank. Have you ever considered using it and do you think it is good to use (For not so big amount of money)?
My titaness is going to shine through with this question (🤣), but when did you and your boyfriend get a joint account? Is it purely for joint investments? How often do you discuss transactions tied to that account? I was also going to ask about the low interest rates, but I took a quick look at my own savings accounts and realized that nearly all banks have cut interest rates as of September. Looks like 0.125 is the new 0.25 for regular S.A.- augh!😩
The Finance VTuber yah! It all decreased 😢 With regards to our joint account, we started it for our Japan trip. We saved up weekly for 9 months and when it was time for the trip, we barely spent additional and everything came from our account. Right before our trip, we decided to open a joint COL acct, and we would each put in the same amount (you can also make individual accounts if you want to invest your own money). After that, it’s all basically 50/50. Sometimes, either of us would deposit a little more but it’s okay with us because that money will be spent for our future anyway and not for individual purchases. For the condo amortization, it’s also 50/50 ☺️
Hi Charm! Im inspired by this video. Ive been planning forever to create my own YT channel, and afraid to start since I do not know what content to show. I love personal finance, and I’m into savings and investing also. I do not have any ideas on video editing, what app to use to start my 1st video. Hoping you can give me some advise. Thank you!😊
A filipina that speaks good english (such a rare find) I can understand 100% of your videos, and those who need native language captions deserve to suffer 😂 Thanks for the vid!
Hi Charm! :) This is very helpful. Quick question lang coz I noticed on your spreadsheet, you have several Life Insurance? Do you think it's a good thing instead of getting just 1?
Kristelle in my case yes because I’m the bread winner. I had an amount (coverage) in mind and since I couldn’t afford the entire coverage before, I opted to do get additional later on (from a different company to diversify). I have 3 life insurance and 1 health&life insurance combo. I would say 2 is usually enough for a lot of people. Depending on how many people depend on them for monthly expenses.
Just a question. How did you open UpSave and GSave? I wanted to open both but when I opened UpSave it said I could no longer open a GSave acct (because I already had an UPSave 😅). It's been a month and I still couldn't get around to having a GSave acct. Lol
You don't have to doubt, Charm. You videos are always helpful. Cheers! Praying for you to get 5k subs by the end of the month. Lapit na oh! 💖 This video inspires me to be more organized and purposeful with all my cards, bank accounts and expenses. Thank you so much! I can start being more organized now para maganda pasok ng October 💖

Hi. I have a question. Regarding the Union Bank Debit, I have one, a visa card. Kaya lang gusto ko na sya iblock kasi wala namang laman since tinanggal ko, dahil one time naglolog in ako sa mobile app ng Union Bank , di ako makalog in dahil I need to update my phone number daw. I tried to reover my account using the debit card number, kaso there is a phone number na lumabas na nisendan ng OTP which is not my number. Then nung nalaman konh ganun niwithdraw ko na yung pera. Pero after an hour naopen ko naman ulit yung account ko. Pero di ko na nilagyan ng laman. At wala na ako planong lagyan. My question is if ireport ko sya na lost or stolen or wag nalang lagyan ng laman talaga, maccharge parin ba ako ng annual fee na 500.? Thank you 😊
I have the same problem! I haven’t registered my debit card online because it won’t activate and I gave up. Was super disappointed in that! It can’t really charge you if walang laman account mo though 🤔
hello po! may video ka po ba about tonik digital bank? im planning to save my emerfency fund on it po sana. hehe hope to hear from you! im one of your fan! i value your videos a LOT!
I have some question about how to handle friends and relatives borrowing money from you? In my situation, it was really hard to say No. I end up letting them borrow and taking for granted all the time. It is freakin hard 😂
Hahaha I struggle with the same thing. It’s honestly hard especially because of our culture. 🤷🏻♀️ I just try not to loan out money I can’t afford to lose, like I try not to expect that money to be returned/anytime soon.
