Ang galing!!! Very systematic, very organized yet very personal! Anyone can do this as long as we take time.
I'll definitely apply these. 😍 Medyo hirap lang ako sa back track cus I tend to be OC sa mga little expenses hahah!
PS. Ang amazing nung NO SPEND MONTH kasi Napa spend na agad ako 🤣 But, without it, I wouldn't be conscious na I should not have spent that. I may have "failed" yung no spend month but at least I was able to start with being more aware of my spending 😍
PPS. Thank you so much for your vids. Sobrang helpful talaga in adulting hahaha! Keep doing your great work 😊
Thank you! 😊 and yes, yan talaga ang purpose. I also failed also tbh but I am aware and I had to ask myself “do I really want to spend this?” And If yes, then that’s okay. Basta intentional 💕
Relate much. this should be a good thing to consider to improve my budgeting style. Thank you Ms. Charm.

I am earning 45k a month but I still have zero on my bank account. Been a breadwinner since I started working. For almost 5 years of working, I never enjoyed my salary as I have to pay for my siblings tuition fees, pay for the house, monthly dues, groceries, insurance and my parents debts. And yet, they're not that even grateful. It's so exhausting, all I could hear were complaints, them not having money or directly receiving my salary. I need to pay bills myself due to trust issues. It's really hard to be born as a Filipino and have a parents like them.
Try to pay yourself more this year. Sabi nga niya sa video, it's better to lessen expenses than increase your income. Filial responsibility is not forever, soon your siblings will take some load off your back, good luck!
@@justinlacas7866 hayss sana ganyan po kadali yan sinasabi nyo miski ako nahihirapan
@@sarahvictoria9783 yup di siya madali. Pero don't underestimate yourself. Ako little steps pa lang din. Cut on expenses like if kaya naman di na mag starbucks or mag dine out, nakatulong sakin. May natitira nako mahigit 1k monthly, na dati kinakapos pa. Little/less savings is better than no savings at all.
Hayaan mo silang tumayo sa sarili nilang mga paa. Kung ngayon pa lang ay ungrateful na sila, mas masasaktan ka lang kapag nakalayo na sila dahil siguradong di ka nila lilingunin
@@remediosencarnacioncabrero4300 I agree with u girl
Napakatimely talaga ng mga educational vids mo. Very informative.
This channel will be the answer on " Hindi kasi tinuturo sa school yung financial matters". Kudos sa juicy contents 👍👌
I'm 26 and the breadwinner of the family. And I know that it is not easy to save money but I'm trying to get there. Your videos about investing and saving really inspired me to strive hard to achieve my goal.
🤗💕
I was really inspired by this vlog and now I have my emergency fund saved. Thank you Charm ❤️
Much appreciated for your systematic instruction and its really work for me when utilizing the method.
Hi. I just recently watched your videos from credit card for beginners, personal financial system, how to invest, real states, etc., and now this. Then, I guess I'm doing pretty good myself in terms of saving in my 20's. I don't have a planner or tracker of my income, percentage and such, I just first invest it to insurance and mp2 and then down to allocation of my expenses.
These videos really pushed me from tracking my finances, know what my goals are for and setting up for it, how much do I spend from my savings to expenses that really gave me peace of mind. ❤❤❤
Lapit nako mag 20🥺 Nakakatakot and nakakaoverwhelm maging adult pero super thankful I found you 😂 Youre like the ate I never had hehe❤️
This video really hit me back to reality. Being a fan girl is really expensive. I tend to be overly excited of the new merch without caring about my budget.
The list categories is really an opener. I really am thankful for your classes. As a teacher, this is what our education system needs. Financial literacy. No one taught us how to manage our money after finding our job.
Napaka nice po ng opening line 👏 thanks
I'm graduating this year, and I wanted to have the slightest idea on what I can do with my first salary. Thank you so much for the videos, very helpful!
I’m in my mid 20s and starting to build my portfolio. I really love to hear your perspective towards personal finance and how you handle it. Hope you could make a vlog regarding Etoro please.
Thank you for your videos. They're very informative especially in these times
This channel helped me a lot sa mga decisions ko sa life haha

Hello ate pretty! Thank you for making this channel, it amazes me na I actually learned so much from your videos than the other ones. Ang ganda ng boses mo and you really covered up all the important details as well as summarizing them into points, I like how you put timestamps din for us hehe. Thank you ate! I hope you continue doing these unless you're busy. Stay safe and happy ^^
🥰🥰🥰
I took notes 🤗
Ate Charm Thank you. I've been into a bad spending habits, been through breakthroughs in my income, but now I can see that as my income grew my expenses also grew bigger. I didn't live within my means. This is really helpful reminder for me.
Ever heard about the hedonic threadmill. I think that is what you, also me and many orhers experience as our income grows. Spending more as our incime gets higher.
@@sannybunny614 not yet. Ill look into it later. Thanks 😊
Totally agree, Charm!
Ang book recommendations Ms cha
My professor in Personal Finance told us about the Income - Savings = Expenses and if you still have excess money after that, you can put it into savings.
If you really want to save like what these video is telling us? Then try this formula NET INCOME-SAVINGS=EXPENSES. Instead of Net Income minusing your Expense it should be Savings (at least 20%), must be deducted first and budget the remaining amount of expenses intented. In this way you can surely SAVE. Hope this can help.
its like im listening to my friend i luv you, been looking for financial management videos and i found u! it's kinda hard, i have 3 income streams but i still can't save money , i don't have emergency funds. i don't know what to do.
Omg hello 👋🏻 haha I’ve seen you on tiktok! My suggestion is try tracking your expenses for 1-3 months. It was eye opening for me when I did that.
@@CharmdeLeon What tiktok video is that? lol. Will do this! Thanks so much! Followed u on IG! 😍😍😍
I'm ate charms one of number one fan here. Hehe she helps me a lot eve thought I'm just 17. Thank you 💞 Don't skip ads guys 😊
Awwee, Thanks Marian!
Learning a lot!! ❤️
yaaay! thank you for this!!
I'm still a teen. Turning into a young adult by next year. Budgeting is very important! It's better to get ready and become aware earlier if you can!
Live within your means but with the intent to expand those means
16k as my first salary. I'm telling you, 16k is not that much as you think specially if you are saving for something you want to invest in. But it's nice, I'm 18 and I know these stuffs. Thanks!
Nice
Woooooaaahhh
Ang ganda niyo po
love learning even if I'm in my late 20s already ❤️
Hi, what’s your view on tithing and how do you include it in your budget, if you practice it? Holy Scripture states that we should give 10% to God first and budget the rest.
INCOME - investment - savings = expenses 💯😁
The first time I was working as a fresh grad. I was so shocked kasi I earned 25k a month tas after resigning and was living with family pa, I was left with just 20k HAHAHA. I don't know where it went kahit hindi naman ako masiyado nag spend, mostly, commuting & Grab, food, and starbucks lang ginagawa ko araw araw. Thanks to this, mas naging organize na ko sa expenses ko juskoooo. Hirap ng lyf. Chariz.
Tbh, I'm still figuring out what my goal is :((((
I like the way you explain things, it's very clear and concise. Plus giving insights.
This is really what I need now, since i have been working for so many years already..this could give some ideas. new subscriber :)
Welcome to the fam! 🤗✌🏻
26 and a breadwinner, this year i really want to take a good care of my salary, im not earning too much, need to pay bills at home, grocerieds, siblings tuition and baon.
hi po. what can u say po regarding sa mga banks na nag ooffer ng free life insurance if u open a savings account? whats the difference?
😍😍😍
❤️❤️❤️
I adore you!!!
Thank you for this!!!
Hi, i work in a bpo company in my province. I've been working for more than a year now. Im so obssessed with saving money. I have accounts for my emergency fund, leisure fund, savings, online transactions like bills or the things a purchase online and insurance. Mas madaling imanage ang pera kapag madaming account kasi we tend to spend more kapag nakikita mong madaming laman yung account mo. I really love watching videos specially when it comes to saving money.
I agree! I love segregating my money in different accounts, too!
Hi can u make a content solely for the 20% savings? Or maybe pls elaborate the specification of the 20% savings. Just really confuse if investments and other funds (e.g emergency funds) are already included or lahi pa sya sa savings?
They are part of the 20% but once you have your emergency fund set up, you invest the 20% 😊
Eto din po tanong ko hehe. Paano po pag nasa below average ang sahod?
Are SSS, Pag Ibig, Philhealth, MP2, and HMO consider in the saving section? or in the Needs section?
Inspiring!
That was a really good analogy, to think of money like soldiers.
Maraming pinoy ang matutulungan nito
I use YNAB for budgeting. Paid app but worth it especially for beginners. I watch Nick True and Charm, the best in financial management 😉
So curious if all YNAB features work well in the Philippines?
@@CharmdeLeon not all. Linking to an account not yet available in PH but all other features work.
Second this. Love YNAB since I can see exactly where all my money is and makes managing it easier. I took advantage of their student free trial as well as their regular free trial (using several emails) before fully committing though.
app po ba yan?
@@edcellezabala8963 yes, app and browser but it’s a paid subscription
Hi ms.charms! do you personally have mentor? how did you learn investing and etc.?
Most of it was self study, really. 😊
Hi Charm, how do you classify those money you save for family vacations or bonding? When do you usually save money for those things?I can delay rewarding myself for the things that I personally want but I want to give those experiences to my parents as soon as possible especially as they're getting old already. I want to save money for investments and leisure at the same time. What would you suggest regarding the management of these things? I hope you can read and answer this. Thank you.
I have a travel fund and and eating out fund. I set aside a certain amount per month and if hindi na ubos, it rolls over for the next month. So the amount is average for the whole year dapat kasi pag xmas or may bdays mas malaki yung gastos.
@@CharmdeLeon so kasama din po ba ito sa 20% savings na tinutukoy niyo in your vids?
Hi po do u listen to music whenever you're planning? Do u have any strategies to share how to effectively be focus on what we're're doing?
Music doesn’t really work for me. I try to put my phone on silent and far away from me to be productive. Lo-Fi music works well for a lot of people but I tend to bop my head too much/dance hahaha
Hi! What app u can suggest for beginners who want to do investments?
