Considering you guys are a small, limited production company and can produce something 100x better than Evolution...i can only imagine what you could create if you had the 30 MILLION budget they had! That's kinda scary to think about, YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!

I've been super patient for 2 years for this very reason. I have high expectations for this project and I have to say that i'm 100% not disappointed. When you guys said you were stepping it up, you really meant it. Seriously. Exceeded my expectations. VERY much looking forward to part 2 and 3.

Even in that messed up world of Trunks there are still humans alive. It would be great if your team also tried to cover the character development of the most important characters. The fight and action parts are very important, but the character stories and their development especially between Trunks and Gohan (sharing a bond of great friendship, growing to be like brothers, the hate and hopeless emotional part because of the fucked up situation they are part of,...) are important, too. The trailer so far looks very promising and I hope of a great result in the end.
I have one question? When is the release date?

@RobotUnderdog2 Do you think you will do other DBZ projects after this one? If so, then I would say try some of the movies instead of adapting manga material since it would be too much to condense and produce. Try adapting the Broly movie for example. While the first one would be infinitely more awesome doing Second Coming would probably be easier since with your current cast you only need 3 more additions (Goten, Videl and Broly). Either way some amazing work and I'm liking the direction of the choreography fight scenes in the upcoming videos. Thankyou for your hard work.
+Ashar Minhas Amazing idea, if Disney is doing Beauty and the Beast copy of it's original film, why not DBZ? I would love to see an live action adaptation of "Bordock Father of Goku" think about it, a ton of Sayans and Apes fighting, Kid Vegeta and at the end Frieza's blast...epic!! They should extend the film tough, like a few months before, so we get more fights.

These guys are putting their heart and soul into this epic adaptation of "History of Trunks" and you're still hating because of Dragon Ball Evolution's fails? The guys behind DBE never watched Dragon Ball, and these guys are fans of the series. It has original music, epic special effects (some seemingly ripped straight out of the series), a good plot and actors that try their best to immitate the characters', well, characters.

yesssss - Thanks Saleh! We agree that even this amount of time was done fast for very little $, small team, and having to work on it after our day jobs.. but we understand that it did keeps you guys waiting for awhile.
The only mistake you did guys was the time commitment you set at the beginning after the pilot.
But you took a very wise, clever and courage decision to push the deadlines far regardless the peer pressure.
Especially you had a new Gohan, I respect clever and wise decisions.
If you sought to satisfy the fans need regarding the time, We (you and fans)would have lost everything.
I can understand people denoting for this project to get upset by this, but it is very rude and uncommon for someone did not support financially to get upset, but this how the market goes.
Hope we see one day a movie you guys working at for the DBZ with the original DBZ soundtracks.
Super respect for this world class quality in the fighting scenes, soundtracks and apparent dramatic touch in the plot regarding the androids that were clear in the trailer (No way you are working part-time on this!!)
thanks we really appreciate the feedback :) and yea, we had initially given ourselves enough time but unforeseen circumstances kept kicking our butts like needing to recast Gohan, and losing our writer and having to rewrite etc. However, what was interesting was that the people who donated and especially those that donated the most, were the most patient and understanding. Our top contributors never complained or rushed us because they understood, like you do, that if we would have rushed it we would have lost everything and there would be no point in making something sub par. But lesson learned and we'll do better next time on giving dates.

People crying about how long this has taken to come out / be announced. This was a donation funded project, made to be free for the rest of us who couldn't donate / didn't want to. The first episode was a PILOT, they have upped the production quality / acting quality - If you watched any of their update videos they even described how they had to film scripts with only 1-2 chances to get it right. The episodes are also going to be longer, and the CGI is obviously much better. If you didn't already notice, they even had to change actors due to personal reasons, people who are disliking clearly cannot respect the work ethic / work needed for these kind of projects, and whilst they've been doing nothing for 2 years they still feel like they have valid complaints while the actors/editors have been trying to film a large-scale project based with no backing from an actual company. Other people seeing the hate who may have wanted to create something like this will be so put off by the ignorance of said haters.
Anyway .. Sick trailer boys I'm hyped :D.

I can tell they are CGI and such, which is understandable, but it'd be nice to have a DC movie budget for these people. Looks great! You guys have worked extremely hard and I am pumped to see the final results! Don't worry about the haters. You inspire greatness with a genre (anime) where it's so difficult to create a live action characters and events. As with the first film, I have no doubt that these two will be successful. Who knows, perhaps the right people will see this and it will encourage more professional films based on DBZ and other great anime. Regardless, great work guys. I'm so excited for these new episodes!

I said the same exact thing some time back. I rather wait a long time for something good over something rushed. This is the prime example of what patience gets you. Compared to what it would of been had they sped up the release date.

I have accompanied several trailers and several stories. Each one better than the other. Even though they are only projects I have been impressed by such concern, the delicacy of being true to anime. WTF is with the dislikes? This is great. Almost movie quality. This is what live-action DragonBall Z should be like. Imagine if this had huge financial backing. In fact, do studios embrace fan-made movies like how some video game companies embrace fan-made games? If so, Funimation, Toei, etc., need to back this up.

Find me a Saiyan that looks Asian. Few characters hold any semblance to race outside of skin color, it's the nature of the animation. Unless the characters development directly relates to looking a certain way, pick whoever plays the character the best.

Superb! The trailer truly captured the hopelessness the we're facing in that saga, and ultimately Gohan's resolve as well as his strength at the end. I got goosebumps.

The final scene with Gohan blocking both Android 17 & 18, is the image you put on anything and everywhere you can to tell people that this is happening.
It is so badass and those last few seconds are way better than that entire Dragon Ball Evolution movie.
Keep it up guys and I hope that you all find a way to profit from this so you can do so much more amazing videos like Light of Hope or even find a way to make live action Dragon Ball Z movies so that people around the world can watch your work in cinemas.

They are really good at playing the androids
Only one word for this that will imply every other word in the English language that can describe pure excellence, and that word is beautiful. That you can bring across such earth shattering raw demonstrations of power with such complete profound impact is incredible. It's like seeing The Matrix for the first time. The chills running up and down my spine during the first fight scene with Trinity no one had ever seen the likes of before. Everyone's breath was held, and it was totally silent, during the whole scene. It was magic as the scene ended people yelled, cried, laughed and applauded with such amazement, and wonder. This is like that, and better in the new ways it is portrayed. This is creativity in the purest, and most wonderful form. Thank you to everyone at RobotUnderdog for sharing your amazing vision with us, and for all the efforts and love you have poured into this imagining of the DBZ universe. It is beautiful, and I am deeply grateful.
