@@dancarter482 Wrong it is going to be an epic failure because the spiders and side gears are going to fail. Their build was done years ago at Machine Builders and the spiders and side gears simply are not built to do what they are asking them to.
@@dancarter482 The problem is to brake steer like the Bombi was originally designed to do you need steering brakes and clutches or a compound differential like Oliver did and then you can just use and engine clutch and brakes on each side so when you turn you grab one side brake and the power is transferred to the non braked side and you turn faster. Tractors with open differentials are designed to brake steer at slow speeds. The 9 inch Ford differential that they chose to use is not designed to take the torque load. There may be a compound differential that will fit that nine inch housing but I sure have not seen one and my search did not find one.. If you watched that video of them installing the axles the video did nor show them doing that right because the bearing retainers were missing and I did not see seals. 9 inch Ford differentials can use sealed or open bearings but to retainers and no seals means that differential fluid will weep past the outer bearings and to retainers means te axles will simply walk out of the housing. I run a 9 inch in my old drag racing car and I had to have specialty bearing retainers machined that would hold in place because the typical ones supplied when one gets new bearings do not have enough shrink fit. Some guys actually weld the retainers in place.

15:03 hi a tip for that sand dust. i worked att a car detailing shop and we had a representative of sonax come in and give us a class in washing and detailing and polishing a car. he told us that theres a layer of dust that sticks and does not get removed by the pressure washer. the only way to remove that layer of dust was to agitate it which you do by scrubing it with a sponge or a pice of cloth. you can even use your finger to get the dust off. so you might want to actually clean it with a pice of cloth or somthing.
Oh good Lord how long has it been since I saw a VHS tape? Oh right, not long, I recently worked in trash and everybody who has those old things has been throwing them away in job lots. Apparently some threshold has been reached and everybody admitted to themselves, all at once, that they were never going to watch them again (and they're probably wiped by now anyway). Hundreds and hundreds of pounds of those things, going 'crunch' and tangling up the compactor in brown 'tape'. Also that's a P and an arrow, D and an arrow. It's a directional indicator, making sure somebody in the factory didn't build it upside down. Or possibly to help make sure you don't install it upside down. And I agree with the guy that says the letters probably mean passenger and driver.
Since Lizzy was such a big part of the first off road games you should definitely have her back as a temporary MORR employee so she can be on your team for the upcoming offroad games.
The ratio of oil to nitrogen/air in your struts is not the same in each strut so when the weather changes they are off balance. Could be that water has gotten in somehow but I think it would be oil related as it will expand and contract more. There is probably just more oil in one strut than the other. Not sure exactly how that could happen but I'm sure there is some oil or water in the system somewhere and more is one side than the other. Just a guess but would explain the tilt with cold weather.
D represents Driver Side, and P is Passenger Side. This eliminates the confusion of right being right when viewed from the front, and being the opposite side when viewed from the front. Driver is always drive no matter which end of the vehicle you are looking from.
Happy Birthday Jonah! I love when you get out on recoveries, or just get face time in the shop. Your enthusiasm is always showing, and downright infectious.

get bucket hot water and put pain can’t in it (just so bottom gets hot). shake up every now and then but give it like 30-60min in hot bath. rattle can works way better after. just don’t get tip under water
Sadly it's looking like another drought year in Southern Utah.
I hope the awesome bombi is needed again in our lifetime.
The rain last week was a nice surprise. Yes. I’ll take more.
Oh you'll see it in the sand.- And probably some mud.
Hopefully you get Robbies jeep ready several days before the 12th. Give him at least 4 days to be able to paint it and try it out.
For the paint can shaker weld a worm drive clamp between two old sawzall blades. Works great.
Hillbilly has a VCR. Of course he does!
What a great video, not gonna lie that sandrail is awesome. Good to see Rudy around.
everyone needs a Jake in their lives..

LIZZY WHO? KAITLIN HAS A HELL OF A BETTER PERSONALITY
@@chrisjohnson5888everyone hates Kaitlin
@rcaddict7638 you need to give your head a wobble if you 'hate' a 17 year old girl who you only know on the Internet mate.
Yellow was the smart color for the mounts.
Chevy painted engines multiple colors, dependent on year: Orange; Blue; Black...
It came out GREAT! Good job rob!
Could be port and starboard?
@@frawleyengravingfrawley2123 The letters were P & D.
Happy Birthday Jonah! I love when you get out on recoveries, or just get face time in the shop. Your enthusiasm is always showing, and downright infectious.
Dog Kisses randomly during the day are THE BEST.
all you young (you-tubers) want too - use a 5 gallon gas can - to prime a carb (fill the float bowl with the vent tube) use a small bottle with a pointed tip - to go in the vent tube (it will run till the gas makes from the tank or can you are using
25:04 Never be sorry for being a hugger !
Colin has a sweet knife!! Beautiful
Wait, it's Caulin right? I'm useless with spelling :|
I think it actually Kaulin? 🤷
I like the groups standing and waving like the end of the Beverly Hillbillies show. Ya"all come back now, ya here?
Happy Bday Jonah, todays mine too. No better way to end a perfect birthday than with a MORR video !! A perfect gift
I like your freezer you have there. Bombi is a nice name for it.
Beautiful colors, my color. I have a cherry 2003 Hummer H2 SUV, I affectionately call Bumblebee, I love it a lot, haven't ever seen a snowmobile like tracker before, interesting concept?
Great to see Rudy working with the crew again.
Brake clean for your differential. It will get the sandblasting sand, grit and grime 👍
Robby needs to name it the blueberry!!! Huckleberry would also be acceptable!!!
Deja Blue is the Banana all over again👍
I have been screaming Blueberry from day 1. Welcome aboard. Lets get this message out.
Blue Banana
@@GrokrootI like Deja Blue, but the Blue Banana would definitely be my second choice!✌️
I'm your Huckleberry.
Glad to see Rudy got the rail running, sounds really good.
Bombi is looking really good.
Rhett should be in charge now....for sure
He's good at puzzling stuff out.
Pleeease keep those wheels and pipes on the sand rail!
