Absolutely beautiful, this is the best technique that I have found so far, just beginning my journey with spinning etc. and find it so amazing what can be achieved. I hope that my art yarn will one day be as beautiful as yours. TFS
ooooh! the little lambs in the beginning are so cute :D that's a really beautiful yarn. I haven't dabbled into spinning artyarns yet (I always want to knit all the things with the yarn I spin) but this one looks really gorgeous and makes me want to try as well!
Your can absolutely do this without combs too, just takes a little longer :) I suggest some nice smooth combed top in various colours, then create a layer sandwich from three or four colours all about one staple length long. Smooth it down then split it up lengthwise and twist the ends to make your 'cigar' shape. This should work just fine!
Your yarn is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for all the bits of information. Like which way you twist the puff. You said that you "set" your yarn. How do you "set" it with puffs and now lose the texture?
Yes weaving with them is fantastic, but yarns like this are light and not super thick so also easy to knit with - the texture looks beautiful in a simple garter or stockinette stitch, great for people like me who dont do fancy knitting - the yarn does the work!
That pale pink is gorgeous. It looks iridescent ❤
Lovely. Thank you ❤.

Beautiful
I love your yarns.. and these beehives. Are. Amazing. I do not have combs.. would you have other suggestions to get smooth puffs?

You can either steam the yarn - or gently soak in warm water then press out the liquid with a towel, the puffs will re-puff as they dry :)
How can you use these types of yarns? I can see maybe weaving for big yarns, but can’ it work with crochet and knitting? I am intrigued!
