I love it when I see someone taking good care of their things. These things are not cheap, have to take good care of stuff if you want it them last a long time. Always nice to see it all nice and clean afterwards too. Great Job!
I do the same, but after flushing with salt away, I do flush at the end with fresh water. Also, i wash my ski with salt away, let it sit for a couple mins and then rinse.
I totally agree it's important not to flush motor hot I wash it first then take the seat off for a bit to help cool the capartment and i spray the salt away all over it good video my man keep them comming
Very nice ! I just picked up my 2021 green Pro Tuesday in far northern Calif. I'm on the coast at the Cal/Ore border, it's full wetsuits here all year long, I'm so ready for warmer climes !
Great information. Thank you. I'm waiting on delivery of a GTX 230 in May. 100% salt water. I'll be sure to watch this video before the first the first time I flush it. Stay well!
Love your videos. I'm getting a fish pro soon. Probably going to wait till the 2022 modles come out. Thanks for all the tips brother. Look forward to seeing out on the water.
I do similar, but use the same sprayer to spray the entire ski, the motor, and the entire inside of the hull with salt away, then coat all the metal with fluid film.
The water coming out from your garden hose isn’t enough to cool down hot running engine as it may lead to damage your carbon seal and eventually will allow water to get inside the engine.
Hi there, I have the same ski, 2022 model, my 5 cents worth, I wouldn’t introduce cold water to any engine surface where the engine is not running, that is at or close to operating temp, mainly because hot components will try to retract or shrink when rapidly cooled, I’m talking a minuscule amount not observable to the naked eye but over time this may lead to a premature failure of components, if it’s a short trip home take the seat off and let it cool slowly, by the time you prepare your cleaning gear, consume a coffee or cold one…you should be good to go. These closed loop cooling Rotax engines are not effected by cold water flushing, you are only flushing the exhaust chamber, but definitely DO NOT introduce water under pressure into the flushing circuit before starting and running the engine at idle, unlike the bullet proof 2 stroke engines of old, these 4 stroke engines will not enjoy the experience of water injection one little bit 😎
Overall very good. Couple things; widen out the spray pattern when spraying down the ski, and certainly remove your Garmin unit before doing it. Dont forget your trailer. It loves to be free of salt too!
great video, i just got my hands on my first sea doo gtx 300. when you wash the engine bay is there anything to be careful? I meant where is the air intake location? also after washing it where to not spray fluid film? on my kawasaki sxr the only place to be careful to not spray water is the air intake filter box. thx
Thank you. For the engine was I would use the salt away and I would stay away from the electric connections. But I haven’t washed mine yet because it never got any water inside, so I just spray the engine with lubricant.
I am planning on buying a Fishpro but it will stay on a floating dock in a friends waterfront backyard.I wonder how to do all that on the floating dock??
Congratulations in advance, I’m not sure how you do that on the dock. I mean you can mainly use the hose /fresh water to rinse the salt and flush the jet ski also, but using soap may be bad for the marine environment .
I’m surprised you wouldn’t follow up the salt remover with another 20 or 30 seconds of fresh water. Just to get the suds out. Jet skis seem VERY high maintenance. This routine seems like it could eventually discourage you from riding. In salt water at least.
Great video! I recently bought my fish pro 2021 Seadoo. I have the flush kit but where did you purchase the quick snap hose coming off of the jet ski that you connect into the flush kit?
Have to ask, won't this leave soapy residue in the exhaust? wouldn't it be better to run the mixture the first minute then flush with fresh water for the last 30s?
I have been advised by the dealer to use this method , water first and mixture second. And I thought about it and realized it does make sense, because the freshwater still has salt that may not be good for some parts in the exhaust when flush , it may cause it to get rust by time , but that will not happen when using the mixture in the end because it will breach the salt and washes it away.
Bro I don't know how you don't have more followers I order my seadoo fish pro 2022 today so I'm taking delivery may or April will definitely see your videos to learn I'm inmiami where you from?
flushing time vary with sea doo models , if you have or planning to buy one , i highly suggest to check its owner manual to see the proper time for flushing.
I check the engine bay every time I get back home before I start washing the jet ski to make sure that now salt water made it through, and 100% of the time the engine bay is so dry and has no water so no need to wash it or rinse it , I just spry it with silicone lubricant.
That’s not cleaning you need to wash the whole ski with salt remover take off plate and wash whole engine compare with salt remover too then spart more work but your Jetski will last

Use the valve to turn on or off water but hook the connection up. Use the remaining solution that is left in the container to rinse wash your ski.

It want harm the motor if u wet the whole motor
Great job! Lots of hard work and time but worth it!!!
You know it all , thanks sweetie for your support 😊
Can you please show us how to connect the line and where? I’m a tad confused. Thanks
Sure , there is no problem with that , I will make another video explaining how to connect the hoses .
I was told after the saltwater go to fresh water & ride it for awhile it will flush out the salt true or false
Great tip about the spray bottle!
Thank you sir!

do the 2 drain plugs get unscrewed open while flushing? or keep those closed?
When I am in the water both side should be close ?
Love it. So, you do not need to Salt Away the Engine, every time? Thanks
You don’t need to salt away your engine if there is no water went inside the engine bay!
I am planning on buying a Fishpro but it will stay on a floating dock in a friends waterfront backyard.I wonder how to do all that on the floating dock??

The salt remover is specifically designed to leave a protective layer behind. Why wash it away?
@@fargo007 After I flush my jet ski with sat away I always run fresh water through it for 30 seconds just to br safe.
I too bought from cycle springs which means youre near me. Fyi you're suppose to have yoir Reg numbers on both sides.
Great video! I recently bought my fish pro 2021 Seadoo. I have the flush kit but where did you purchase the quick snap hose coming off of the jet ski that you connect into the flush kit?
Congratulations on your fish pro.
I bought the quick connector from my sea doo dealer but you can buy it online.
Do you clean with water any part of the engine to take out the water salt? Thank you! Is an awesome video!
I don’t use water to clean the engine at all, if you want to clean the engine you can use salt away and after it gets dry spry lubricant.
Thanks brother! I appreciate!
Quick question don’t you have to run fresh war through before you shut it off to rinse out the access salt away in the ski
The salt away made to leave a protective layer that you don’t want to wash away.
@@lifetaste4627 OK thank you for the response I’m just getting my ski should be here on the 30th I just want to make sure I use it correctly thank you
No problem my friend.
Congratulations on your new ski.

The salt away leaves a protective film, you don't want to wash it away
I ran my hose with the engine off my first time on my new seadoo fish pro think it's going to have problems?
I did same thing by accident. Left water on after turning it off. How is your ski ? Did u have any issues ??
Great job but to me freshwater would be fine. Sea-Doos have a closed-loop cooling system so the engine never sees saltwater
I wonder if that lubricant can cause a fire or smoke heavy during run times of the engine.
Yes it is very flammable but by the time you ride your ski will be evaporated .
What is that adapter called?
Where can I get the hoses and mixture at you used in the video?
I bought them from Walmart!
You can buy them online also .
Brother what do you call the “mixture” that you pour salt remover fluid in it?
It’s called salt away mixing until for marine engine flush .
Bro I don't know how you don't have more followers I order my seadoo fish pro 2022 today so I'm taking delivery may or April will definitely see your videos to learn I'm inmiami where you from?
Thank you so much 😊 you just made my day 😊 congratulations on your new fish pro 👏. I’m in tampa area.
Why use the lubricant?
To protect the metals and prevent them from from getting rust .
thanks it help't me a lot
You are very welcome, thank you for watching my video , I’m looking forward to make more videos to help more people.
thanks
I thought the max flush time for Seadoo was 30-40 seconds??
flushing time vary with sea doo models , if you have or planning to buy one , i highly suggest to check its owner manual to see the proper time for flushing.
