It was nice to see you reference the Jupiter X in another video; I was on the verge of buying one (being a bit of a Roland fanboy) when I had epiphany; they aren't fun to program and the Jupiter X looked overly fussy. I changed my order to a Hydrasynth based purely on nothing other than a hunch. i'm so glad I did, it's fantastic. I hate patch programming but this thing is a joy to use. It goes so well with the warmth of a Virus TI I also own. I bought it especially to churn out some churning and thunderous d&b basses. Which I've no doubt it can.
that makes me happy but also sad that Roland have bungled yet another synth. I'm surprised its hard to program considering all the knobs per function

Thank you for this. And please turn up your voice compared to the synth. Listening on full range speakers i'm constantly turning volume up & down.
If you don't mind asking, what brand and model are they?
Major OSC -Both TVs I have with satellite/sub setups as well as my Mackie HR824’s.
@@roastedlobster was there a drastic difference between voice and synth the whole video or was it balanced at times ?
Major OSC - Synth gets louder depending on patch and such (like most synths). Voice relativity low across the boards. In most of your videos.
Compress/normalize and maybe add some 1-4K for intelligibility.
@@roastedlobster I'll add a compressor to the voice track to ensure it'll always be audible.
