I required my entire family attend a Merle haggard show so they could tell their children and grandchildren that they really knew what Country music really was.

It is by Hank Jr., its called "Knoxville courthouse blues"! It's really good! Maybey even educational?! Atleast might even have a public service announcement in it! I swear, Good!!!
The Hag. Awesome entertainer. Superstar. Had a music career that spanned 5 decades. Singer, songwriter, guitar and fiddle player. He could also imitate several other entertainers and sound just like them (Buck Owens, Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash, Hank snow). Check some of those videos out please.

I played bass in a country band for a while, didn't last long cause I would prog out on the bass cause I got bored and they didn't like that. Enjoyed listening to it but bored me playing it except Phil Leah's bass parts.
