It’s a good thing I don’t need a heater where I live. I bypassed the heater core, and never looked back. I can’t imagine having to go through what you did to get to that heater core. You did an admirable job Sir!!!!
That's pretty crazy. I have the same exact truck. And I did not have to take any of that out to change my heater core😂😂 sounds like this elderly couple just got taken advantage of
I don’t think you had to pull the whole dashboard odor remover stuff. I do believe it can be removed it out doing that all that I’m necessary work how much check it out myself but I don’t think you have to go through all that.
Oh man i remember when i did mine back in 2017, didnt have any odd odours but it was leaking pretty badly and dripping coolant by one of the ac drains, unfortunately i didnt have any money left and didnt replace the blend door actuator :(. Do you happen to have any pictures from the inside of the plenum? Now after all these years i think my ac drain is now clogged, but checked it with a coat hanger wire and its clear, can hear water slushing even from a stand still just by revving the engine. (Intermittently)
Hello again. You mentioned evacuating the ac line before removing the heater core. Is that necessary? Also, what tool did you use to disconnect the hoses under the hood? Thanks a million for your great videos
What I didn't mention was I removed the charge to replace oring to the evap core, and as far as the heater hoses. I had to use a small pocket screw driver and pick cause the clips were stuck on the hose connectors.
My apologies. That was intended for another another guy with videos. I have found your video very informative and appreciate your time and efforts in it's production.
Let's take this moment to appreciate Chris fix for not adding annoying 80s guitar riffs in his tutorials
Did he do a video on this job in this truck?

I'd do the same thing however the truck is owned by an elderly couple and wanted it fixed
Where ? Even in Florida I need heat sometimes
You pulled way more stuff of then you need to lol... i get it your paid by the hour but damm whoever had that done paid more then they should of...
Oh he raked that elderly couple over the coals big time
OMG tell me an easier way
WHY DID you vacuum out the A/C that was stupid and extra work...
Why would pull the seats, you make a job a lot harder, and more trouble than it is.
What are you yapping about
Some trucks you need to (dodge pickups), so it was probably just thinking he needed to do it. Not a big deal
got dam... how long did it take the 1st day?

Hey my dude how did you do it? I really don’t wanna rip my dash apart.
How?
Howww
Anyone know if the evaporator coil lines connect to the dryer and the other line under hood or are those separate tubes?
