I've really enjoyed all your videos Paul and they are definitely evergreen. I'm studying with OU in the UK and my module material was written in 2017 (it is due an update we have been told) as Social Psychology is such a dynamic subject it would be impossible to stay up to date all the time. Surely that is what independent research is for anyway as an undergrad? Thank you for all your videos they really helped me to gain a good sound understanding of important topics and themes in the field of critical social psychology.

The basic theories don't really change too much. So that's okay, I think, if they don't keep updating that stuff. But the context does change often and a lot. For example, anything taught in social psychology (or actually more broadly in psychology), that doesn't make some reference or another to the COVID pandemic is likely a sign that it is either outdated or out of touch. That's perhaps where the tutorials play a role - you can keep up to date through those by focusing the discussions on topical social issues. But the problem there is that the public can't access those ... and actually most students don't seem to access those either for various reasons (often because they are very time poor). Anyhooo, hope you have great success with your OU degree and that we can persuade you to stick with psychology and maybe change it for the better :)
