then maybe you are not using them properly. fly low to avoid enemy radar missiles, and dont try to actually BVR, 530Ds suck at it, and M4Konly has HDN, so they have ample time to notch. I use it as a close quarter missile (3-6km), and it works quite well.

You CAN use it in BVR but it requires quite a bit of skill and a LOT of missile dodging. TBH It's an extreme sport but not impossible. Plus if the guy you're jousting with isn't all that aggressive and just goes cold for a sec the missile self-explodes anyway so it's not an efficient use of ressources by any means.

M4K should easily reach its rip speed just like M2K, but currently the acceleration after hitting mach is not correctly modeled. Bricking it in 1350-1450 instead of easily reach 1500 km/h without a sweat. I hope they will fix this. It's a good aircraft, and hell, itd early acceleration even can outaccelerate F-15 by a small margin.

They did something to the radars and radar missiles that causes them to just crap the bed. TLDR btw PD radar has been locking chaff (the biggest surprise out of everything tbh) Radar missiles haven't been proxying when near enemy aircraft. Radar missiles haven't been pulling their correct G's and tend to just sort of... not pull or miss entirely even at targets flying in straight lines. Radar missiles have been just flying off into the ground or a random direction, or immediately exploding on launch almost killing you, even in a headon (I have a clip of this lmao). A very weird one also is when using a radar that can swap between PD and TRK without losing lock, sometimes swapping will make your missile entirely stop tracking and it blows up a second or 2 later, this was especially noticeable on my Tornado F3 when people tried to notch my radar so I'd swap the lock mode to avoid the notch but it still does it anyway even when never losing lock. I can barely get a kill now using radar missiles in my FGR.2 or Tornado F3 when grinding for the Gripen because they're so hit or miss whether they decide if they wanna hit a target or not, people just pull a small turn to one side and they just sort of don't pull. Even a F104 dodged my superTEMP fired at about 6-7km by just holding pitch up and roll right to just spin in a circle above mach and my missile just flew past him. They did something to radar and missiles this patch and it's been horrid to deal with.
They way you have the ability to just stand on your engines and just gain so much altitude so quickly and just whip the nose back around like that 😮💨 can’t wait for the Rafale

For fuel I take min fuel 12min+2 for the take off and the Magic 2 fuel tank for 4 min. After take off I go on second stage of PC until I engage the enemi
dude the 530ds have a thing when u went out head on go with normal search. At this moment somting amazing thing happens ur missle targeting the enemey even with out radar lock like aim54
this is ur huge mistake at french radars, the radar hasnot an choose memory so it goes automaticly headon search so u should use it on fights activfly like manuel... its changes ur gameplay huge after that no miss anymore
ı were not sure about mine main top tier tree after those dassault 4000,2000 and new coming little dog fighter and these aim7 and aim54 mix magic matras showed up to me french is the best at this game (definetliy russia has little buf but ı made right choose )

imo you should try to get the event m2k and see how you like it to decide wether or not to grind it, french top tier is certainly good and unique, but it wont really be the absolute pinnacle of meta at any point as a heads up (duuno how rafale and typhoon stack up to each other)
Okay genuine French main here with top tier ground and air. France outside of reserve tier has no genuinely bad lineups and has arguably one of the best 7.7 lineups in the game. Top tier is some of the best CAS fixed wings in the game and even in a CAP role it slaps.
fly low, always, and pay special attention to being low when RWR tells you theres a launch on you. then you can forget about radar missiles and live a happy life :)
I have the 4000 and sadly it doesn’t get HMD. The Mirage 2000 5F has HMD and I believe the Mirage 2000D-R1 does as well. But I am not sure because I have yet to unlock that version of the Mirage 2000 yet. Hope this helps :D

Why is eveyone stuck 1 year ago when it comes to 530D, Jeak is believe shot both at the same time and the 530 is actually just faster until like 13-15km. It's just an ever so slighly better aim7m nowaday at closeish ranges at least
