@jackiesomoza58425t as Ukrainian I wanna say it's pretty sad because you probably don't understand Putin's mentality. All you should know is that he's "gopnik" (google this one). Remember what he's said on 24 February 2022? "If anyone will interfere, consequences will be awful" that's a bit paraphrased but truly tells the sense of his speech. After that, his propaganda machine turn on new term "red lines" that you MUST NOT cross. By "red lines" was meant some thing like giving Ukraine tanks, Himars etc. And what we have now? All of that has been given to Ukraine and NOTHING happened. Did you see nuclear mushroom kaboom in New York? I didn't. All I wanna say, is that "gopnik's" mentality significant feature and goal is to insult, to warn and to threaten, and after that doing nothing. Gopnik has results neither of strength nor actions, but because of his mad behavior, which convince everyone that's better to peacefully settle with him, nor than argue. "Gopnik" deeply inside understands consequences of his actions that's why he won't insult and threaten someone stronger than himself. "Gopnik" is like french bulldog or yorkshire. He is small dog, who will continue to growl and bark on everyone until you show that you're stronger one. So not be so scared because of another Putin's maniacal nuclear speech, he won't do that. His life goal is to rule, to be KING/TSAR, to keep stealing money from budget, to keep getting payoffs and to live in his Gelendzhik Palace, true story of which was exposed in Navalny's film. I honestly find Arabic to be such a beautiful language. I took a year language course and learned to love it even more. It has such a flow and rhythm to it and it is so poetic. I've listened to the Arabic version of "Let it go" and seen the English translation and its even more beautiful than the original. I know I might be one of the few people who still like that song. I associate it with the sheer happiness of ending my 4 months of working at Subway and the freedom within that song just echoed so clearly my desire to let go of all of those painful experiences.
All languages have certain words that cant be translated because the other lacks an equivalent, thats why all languages have loan words from eachother. Still i can name like ten words easily in Dutch that English lacks completely and we are 2 very close brother languages to begin with. Btw some well known Arabic loan words are for example, sugar, coffee, alcohol, admiral, caravan.

Well what Trevor said about Arabic ain’t a problem since he is doing his job as comedian, but when he said Arabic sounds frightening language some fans cheered him up and that really accentuates a quite chronic prejudiced community, He doesn’t dare to make jokes on other languages especially Hebrew because he will be immediately accused of anti-Semitism.

Exactly, cause I am Russian speaker with fluent perferct English, so my English friends always saying that it is sounds like German accent for them and it is sexy in this way. There are people who completely don't try to pronounce English words with English or American accent, they sounds awful, but even them don't sound like in most Hollywood movies unfortunately. This is obviously problem of Cinema industry in all countries, when foreigners are played by locals.
Discoboy yes thank you, finally someone sees it the same way as me. I’m not native English myself and I’ve always been so confused by the way Germany was pictured in American movies. I mean i can’t stand hearing other Germans not trying to lose their accent but in the same way as Russian it does not just sound aggressive. But hey I guess we just speak the to most hated languages by Americans ever so there we are
I have lived with many Russians in my family. Some of them do not sound aggressive at all, but my grandmother's husband sounds exactly like every stereotype. You ask him a question softly and the answer is always 'VAT. VAT U VANT.'
As a Russian, I am not scared to go anywhere in Detroit. When some stupids try to scare a sh...t out of me, I am not switching to Russian accent, I go to Russian language full power. Works every time!!!!
This perception likely comes from the flexibility in how certain sounds can be realized in Russian. They typically can range from milder, more relaxed versions to harsher ones articulated more intensely. One famous example is russian R which is mostly realized as a single tap /ɾ/, arguably the best sounding rhotic consonant, but can also be rolled multiple times without causing a difference in meaning. This rolled R is one of the sounds in Russian that many non-natives perceive as aggressive and irritating. Unsurprisingly, women generally prefer to sound "nice" and intuitively choose milder sound versions while men like to sound "clear and assertive" and often overarticulate. Those tendencies then transfer into how Russian speakers pronounce words and phrases in English, because many of them don't really work on their accent much.
I think it's more stereotypes/culture and/or personality of the speaker. A sexy woman will sound sexy in any language, especially if she intentionally changes the tone and pitch of her voice. The same with german for example. Also, women have a higher voice which sounds less threatening, and as the person above good written, probably women deliberately try to sound softer

I can recommend u some arabic songs with ALOT of meanings that literally cant be translated because of its beauty

I feel like Russian is an accent where women can make it sound attractive but men cannot.
Literally.
Those tendencies then transfer into how Russian speakers pronounce words and phrases in English, because many of them don't really work on their accent much.
same as Germain ))
I think a Russian accent is really sexy for a man
I think it's more stereotypes/culture and/or personality of the speaker. A sexy woman will sound sexy in any language, especially if she intentionally changes the tone and pitch of her voice. The same with german for example. Also, women have a higher voice which sounds less threatening, and as the person above good written, probably women deliberately try to sound softer
