Why the partnership with ModRetro? It was very disconcerting seeing Palmer Luckey appear at the end of the tournament with the winner. I come to CTWC to see good and wholesome Tetris gameplay, not to support a billionaire who made his money off Meta and selling AI killer drones to the US military.

CTWC uses the tetris company’s IP and not only has been allowed to do so, but in fact has been sponsored by the tetris company for many years. If the tetris company wants to promote its new game/accept a certain sponsorship then CTWC doesn’t have much room to say no
