I am not getting a TOD after setting my cruise altitude. The FMC will not let me execute after inputting my cruise level? Thx

Hi, maybe you past already TOD, check your vertical profile on MAP display and catch it with VS or FLCH

One question! I am a new user and love the POSITION feature to practice approaches. I am now trying to get better at RNP (RNAV) approaches using the MSFS PMDG 737. I've tried to use the IAN (Interactive Approach Navigation) feature which uses the APP mode to generate an ILS-like approach with "diamond" symbols for the LOC/GSP. which are called FAC/GP when doing a non-precision approach. The issue I am having is that the FAC (or LOC equivalent) engages normally, but the G/P (or G/S equivalent) does not while using FSIPanel. What do I need to do for the IAN approach feature to work for RNP(RNAV) approaches using FSIPanel? Thanks in advance. A grateful user!

I was able to figure it out. I checked again the video and realized that I wasn't setting the CRZ ALT for the FMC to compute the T/D. Once I did that, the G/P was engaged. Thanks! Great product!

      Perfect! Happy you managed it.

@@FSiPanel Have you tried the Non-Precision (RNP/RNAV) approach using IAN? It is much easier than using VNAV/LNAV, and it is now common technology in the new 737NGs. Perhaps you could do a video demonstrating its functionality for any users that are not familiar with it.

Thanks for the explanation. My question is whether we need to program the FMC on each try. I mean after 1st attempt we land, and use FSI Panel again to relocate plane to the position, do we need to program everything in FMC again?

If you take a snapshot once the FMC is set, you will be able to repeat the approach without any input in the FMC.

JP I use the PMDG 738 and after the FMC is all set I saved the panel State & load it after “I have control” seems to also work but will also try the snapshot. My question is I’m flying the RNP RNAV Y Rwy 22 @ KMDW and on every report it shows me 75 to 100 feet high all the way to the RWY. Any suggestions? I follow your instructions from the video but change things based on the KMDW approach plate. Thanks and I really enjoy using your software Sir.

@@deighvid2011 Hi, it might be due to the altimeter settings as a non precision approach does not have a glideslope based on a ground equipment. Have you tried the same approach when the pressure is 29.92? same result?
