That community garden was absolutely beautiful! 😍 I hate shopping for clothes too. I was actually surprised how much I didn’t like Frankenstein. I expected to be blown away but it ended up being just okay for me. But I can definitely appreciate its importance for literature and the horror genre.

I really enjoyed my best friend's exorcism and it is my favourite grady hendrix so far! I really liked how it handled the psychological horror side or it with the friendship storyline too. Frankenstein is one of my favourite monster classics as well. I adore it.
I read Frankenstein for the first time too recently. I loved it! I have an illustrated version which was cool. I was quite impressed with not only how good and deep the prose were from a book in 1818 but easy to read at the same time.
Only read a short by Hendrix so far which i enjoyed, i am curious to get into more although a few people i have spoken to have wildly diverging opinions. I plan to hit Frankenstein as well this year. The community garden is so pretty 😍

I've only read one Grady Hendrix books, How to Sell a Haunted House, and didn't like it all that much... I read quite a bit of horror, though, it was just... meh. I wonder how Americans would experiense summer here, as most people don't have AC.

I haven’t read that Grady Hendrix title, but I have read The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires and oh my goodness! I loved it!

Have you read “The Neopolitan Quartet” by Elena Ferrante? Those are very good. “Perfume” by Patrick Süskind is dark, but another favorite of mine.
