- Join me on a Tuesday night walk of the Luxor Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. Luxor Las Vegas opened on October 1993 on the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip as an ancient Egyptian themed resort. Luxor has 4,497 hotel rooms and features a 30 story pyramid that is the 4th tallest in the world. On top of the pyramid is one of the brightest light beam in the world. Luxor is located on the Las Vegas Strip between Mandalay Bay and the Excalibur Las Vegas. Luxor Las Vegas is home to shows like Carrot Top, Fantasy, Blue Man Group, and America’s Got Talent presents Super Stars Live. It features attractions like BODIES | The Exhibition, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, and Discovering King Tut's Tomb. Play Playground opened in January 2024 next to the Atrium Showroom. Play is an immersive playground with over 20 attractions for adults 21 and over only. America's Got Talent show will be closing for good on May 11, 2024.

I’m staying here right now. It’s fun, clean , safe, reasonable $. Had a great dinner at Tender last night probably half the cost of some of the other strip steakhouses. It’s not in the center but the bus is a great deal and you can uber. My one complaint might be they skimp on some regular maintenance. The gold wrap on the pyramid elevator doors is in rough shape especially. But I don’t understand all the Vegas bloggers that shit on this hotel.
That is great to hear. My only complaint about the Luxor is the long check in lines all the time. Otherwise, it’s an excellent affordable property. Sadly negative reviews get more clicks.
I liked the Luxor a lot too. Close to the Deuce, Target for shopping and a decent food court on the Strip is close as well. Only complaint on a high level for me is, that i usually have closed pools only, but thats my own fault since i only go to Vegas in November or December... 😅

The Fontainebleau is more for people who want just want to be seen. It wasn't made for the average tourist to go to.
There aren’t a lot of those people who want to be seen either! They would be thrill with average joes wanting to gamble there.
@@VegasWalkerI agree with you that there aren't enough people that want to be seen especially when you put this on the North Strip where no one wants to be but they definitely don't care about the average tourist with the crazy high table minimums and tight slots/video poker.
Their location is terrible and they don’t have anything at all to draw people into their casino. Stayed there twice, ghost town both time. Super stingy with their comps too. Better off playing slots across the street at Circus Circus.
