Lure Painting Tutorial - Simple 3 color holo glide bait

- This lure painting was full of issues from me forgetting to tape off the bill before painting to dropping the lure and cracking it. The 3 color design came out great and I hope to recreate it on a another lure that I didn’t have to superglue together. I can see using these lures mainly for bass. This tutorial includes mind blowing airbrush lure painting and exquisite clear coating with epoxy.

You can also thin your paints to get transparent effect, or use transparent paints or pearl paints thinned I use 4012
you have one of those small compressors huh, always turns on when you spray haha
It's a pain. Mine also has a leak so it turns on randomly as well.
Very nicely done I have a question though why put so much effort into the yellow and red strips you put on the back of this lure you then covered with the black mess patteren? I really don't see any of those strips at all or is this just a depth paint trick. Again I'm certainly not critiquing this maybe I'm just not seeing it. Still looks great.
I agree. The orange and yellow do stand out more when you look at the lure in person it also adds a sort of variation to that area of the lure. But honestly, when I do that design again I plan on making that area more vibrant. I didn't make those colors as rich as I intended. Thanks!

where can i buy some of that mesh your using?
Found this at Walmart in their craft/fabric section. Can probably find it at Jo-Ann Fabric or similar fabric store.
