    I really wish Toyota had brought over the gorgeous JDM Crown Sport instead of this Signia. I have no desire for such a large vehicle...

    I think it looks fantastic in this color combination. It’s quite expensive, but it’s way better than the Venza. Even though I did really like the styling of the Venza.

    The Signia XLE is the one to get but I will say the Limited reminds me of a classic Olds Vista Cruiser. 😁

    Love ❤ love my new Toyota Crown Signia Limited, same as the video! So smooth, so quiet too. Sold my 2021 RAV4 Prime XSE which I loved. I was ready for an all smooth ride.

    I just leased a 2024 Chevy Equinox EV AWD and wanted to know if you could do a video. I would love your opinion! Love your show and your upbeat attitude! Thanks from CT.

    Nice, but pricey. Hard to get where I live. I've heard dealers are marking up the price, no negotiation.

    There is also a kick sensor to open the rear hatch.

    Honda's use of the paddle shifters for re-gen braking makes sense, Toyota's for simulated shifts seems like a waste of time/money.

    Neither.
    I upgraded from a 2014 Toyota Highlander to a 2024 Cadillac XT4 and it's awesome looking with the distinctive Cadillac vertical DRLs (the 2024 highlander drove the same and is pretty much the same chassis and interior so it's boring), new modern fascia and center mounted backup lights, and 33 wide screen.
    Yep, my 2024 Cadillac XT4 (0-60 in 7 sec) is quicker than my 2014 Toyota Highlander (0-60 in 7.6 sec) that I traded in. XT4 also handles better too.
    The Cadillac XT4 has no turbo lag that I can feel. Every other car that I test drove had turbo lag, whether short or long...Mercedes GLC300 (least turbo lag), BMW X3 (a little more turbo lag), Porsche Macan S (even more turbo lag), Honda (way too much turbo lag).
    The Cadillac has these features that UA-camrs miss:
    - lighted logo behind the dashboard
    - pulsating safety seat (most cars only beep)
    - left behind child in the rear seat alert
    - capless fuel tank (like my 2017 Corvette C7 )
    - umbrella storage in the doors (like Rolls Royce)
    - active noise cancellation (like my 2017 Corvette C7 with Bose)
    - power passenger seat with lumbar
    - free 5G hotspot
    - stop/start feature is the smoothest I’ve ever experienced that I don't even notice it.
    - Reliable
    My other car is a 2017 Corvette Stingray in stickshift.

    Almost a perfect vehicle, but a fixed sunroof is a big no for me. An open sunroof makes driving wonderful on a nice day.

      @timnguyen3021 you also get additional rattles wind noise, leaks. Pano roof is overpriced useless feature.

    The official body type for the Crown Signia is "Wagon".

    • @Mgoblagulkablong
      @Mgoblagulkablong 9 годин тому

      WRONG, it's abolutely NOT. NO wagon is 63.8" tall with a seating position this high.
      Wagons are identical in height to sedans.

    Definitely carrying the Brand given the Toyota disasters in trucks and full sized SUVs. Toyota RAV4 very dated now so this is exactly what Toyota needs big time 😊

    At this price point I rather get Outlander PHEV for at least 10 grand less , no CVT , bigger car more warranty

    Don't The paddle shifters change the amount of regen braking?

    Tinted glass and other missing perks might be offered in the coming years....that's how Toyota does things. It essms we always have to wait for the next refresh to get the update.

    Nice review as always. This is WAY overpriced and no tinted rear windows considering this is an 'SUV'. Why do they put such large BLACK wheels on everything with minimal sidewalls? Except for wheelbase and overall length, the size of this car is almost identical to the original Venza which I have (2011 - 65K miles!). I'll take the ultra-smooth (and quiet) V6 and opening panoramic roof in my 13 year old Venza over this any day.

    • @rightlanehog3151
      @rightlanehog3151 3 дні тому +2

      First off, I am a big fan of the original Venza🥳 and the Crown Signia is the closest thing Toyota has offered since that Venza left. In 2011 an AWD V6 Venza was around $32,350. This figure translates to $45,133 in 2024. What were you saying about the 38 mpg Signia being too expensive?

    • @mickiemack2748
      @mickiemack2748 3 дні тому

      @@rightlanehog3151 - Greetings! Yes, I paid about 33K (msrp 37.8K) for my FWD V6 in October 2011. All options (pano roof, JBL, Nav, Leather, Convenience Pkg 2(keyless go, etc.)) - car is still in excellent shape in/out, the V6 smooth/quiet and is plenty quick. I still average 24-25mpg. Being retired I see no point in paying 45K (or more) for something that would maybe get 10 more mpg. Plus, the 'farm equipment' sound of the engine under more than modest acceleration does not convey refinement to me. I do like the styling of the Signia but since my Venza is more than serviceable for many years to come I will just roll on w/it. I bought a new 2023 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E in January which has all the safety features I need and it gets better mpg than my Venza! I don't consider the Signia a bad vehicle, but it's not compelling enough for me to purchase one as my transportation needs are currently more than adequate. Best regards -

    Dumb move by Toyota to not give this the same drivetrain as Camry but the older version, absurd.
