Does anyone knows how to enable dev console in MW 3 Singleplayer? Im actually searching all around the web and i cannot find anything that helps me sadly :(, i also read on a thread that says devs before releaseing the game deleted the source code for cheats in MW3, so if you capable of enabling the console in mw3 singleplayer or special ops you will not be able to cheat in SP (in-game). I dont know why the devs took this decision tbh. In mw2 i remeber having too much fun with cheats, especially with "notarget" "noclip and "god" codes i spend hours to see how AI kills each other and it was awesome to see that with noclip it was like a"cinematic mode", but in MW3 is impossible to do that, btw its 2020 already and no one cant find a way to re-enter the "cheat" code to the IW5 engine :) i guess it must be a very hard job not having a "mod tools" or the engine itself
I'm very late with this reply, but I'll put my 2 cents in anyway. I'll try and keep this response structured. There is an external console out there for mw3sp that I got to run, but it's not the most pleasant experience to alt+tab out of the game to enter a command into a windows command prompt window. Iirc you have to inject it into the game using extreme injector or such so it's a hassle. There also used to be a console for mw3sp called kiwicon (or kiwiconsole). You can find it by Googling "mw3 kiwicon". The problem is that, there are many versions of it and none seem to work and they all crash. They might work on WIN10, but I can't test that. My gaming pc that is already very aged and on WIN7, and my WIN10 laptop isn't strong enough to run it smoothly so I can't test it. There are trainers out there that can achieve some things you mentioned like "god" and "notarget", but it's just not the same as from the dev console. Noclip can apparently be activated by using cheat engine, but I never got that to work. A youtube channel called Spi has done some nice showcases of noclip in mw3sp in action. Plutonium (mw3&bo2 mod) devs are the only people I know of, who know how to reverse-engineer mw3 multiplayer-wise so I'm sure they could do it for singleplayer, but they're reluctant to do so and the demand for it just isn't there I guess (unless we all hopelessly go beg them, which is not wise at all). Hope that somehow helps.

Hey. Thanks for the positive comment. As far as I'm aware VAC doesn't run in singleplayer games, so you're free to play museum or any other level, even spec ops and you will not get VAC banned.
I did some looking and all the commands I think that are related to this are these: loadgame ui_savegame devsave savegame_lastcommit profile_difficultyLoad profile_difficultySave I'm not sure if a mod for these exists, but if you're into gsc modding and you fiddled enough with these commands and backup saves, you could manipulate the game save progress.
@@kark7287 I messed around in the console and binding in config, took some time, the proper use is devsave "name" then loadgame "name" but it's funky and doesn't always like to work.
I just finished MW2 with this! Amazing work! Console Enabler is working, but some small issues. One, FOV keeps resetting back to 65 after every new scene/level being loaded or sometimes every death in the campaign as well as each time you load a save. It's minor nuisance, but you're going to have to type it again everytime it happens "/cg_fov 90" (shortcut is just pressing up and down for the last commands you typed). /com_maxfps 250fps however is always saved so I don't know why FOV keeps reverting back. Otherwise, everything is perfect! Thank You! I do not understand why the PC versions of COD games are making console commands either disabled or hidden.

Incidentally, I have Black Ops 1 turned into Rekt T5m which lets you do console enabler, but the FOV keeps resetting on EVERY death on custom games with bots. Is there a way to make this work while keeping steam UI and being able to earn achievements? I only want to use the cg_fov and r_fullbright for performance reasons (low spec laptop)
I already opened the config then there is already bind key for toggleconsole which is ~, it wont work when i launched the game. I tried to change bind key to M for toggle console, it still wont work, any ideas?
My only guesses are that you are not using the correct exe, the bind must have a typo or for some reason the game is not reading the config file or it did not save. Download the exe again, drag it to your mw2 folder replacing the old exe, then launch it and it should work. It is crucial you have relocated the entire mw2 folder and launch it from the exe and not steam, because Steam will automatically attempt to replace the exe if it is changed. If the problem still continues, then I don't really know how to help and this needs more investigating

I downloaded the game via thirdparty. added seta thereisacow 1337 in config, changed seta monkeytoy from 1 to 0, i put the word spu to the end of the text inside the config, then hit enter twice, then put binds there like bind o "player_sustainammo 1". I followed the developer console guide callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/Developer_console . in MW2, console cannot be activated for some reason (thirdparty not steam i guess). i tried the instructions and it work using config. Maybe your tutorial is for those downloaded from steam, coz there are files that may be different if thirdparty. Thanks for trying to help man.

I have the Steam version and obviously there are differences between Steam, third party and outdated pirated/cracked versions that I did not take into account at all. I'd suggest you download another torrent/crack to see if it works with that, but glad you at least got binds to work. That's how I also played before I found out this console. If it asks you to replace the file "iw4sp.exe" then you can replace it. You need to replace that original exe with the one provided in the download. Otherwise the console will not work.
Like someone typed here in the comments a long time ago, you should type "sv_cheats 1" in to the console without quotations. If you need further help then let me know :)
It will not. However if you do this in the original steam directory then it simply won't work. Copy the mw2 folder somewhere else and follow the steps shown in the video.

@@bachibatchoy8214 Sadly there is no console for mwr SP or MP. There used to be one for MP, but it got patched. If you really need to use cheats for SP, there is a trainer made by MrAntiFun, but of course it's not the same as having a proper console.

I used to have a similar situation with other cods. The folder is most likely located somewhere in Steam folders or some Activion's folder. For me they are located on my SSD instead of my HDD.
@@kark7287 I've "fixed" it, I was too lazy to look for it so I created a players folder, downloaded a config_mp.cfg, opened in notepad, copied the code, made a config.cfg, pasted it, and then added the 'bind ~ "toggleconsole"', then I copied both config_mp.cfg and config.cfg into the players folder I made, and it worked.
My first recommendation is to go to C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/Activision/ and you should see an mw2 folder with it in there. If not, then search %appdata% in the Windows search bar, then go to Local/Activision folder and see if that works. If that's not the case and if you have many hard drives with Steam games spread throughout them then check all those Steamapp/common folders. If you still cannot find it, I recommend Googling "mw2 cannot find config/cfg" or "cod4 can't find cfg" or something like that, because I used to have that problem with cod4.

Depends on what you mean by free. Having the game cracked is free and should work and the download is free as well but this tutorial is mainly aimed for those who bought the game.
Sadly no. You'd have to install a client called IW4X which does have the developer console, dedicated servers etc. but obviously it's not the same as using the vanilla multiplayer.
I don't think it's possible. There's simply not enough binds available in the controller, and besides I would need a modified disc of the game. Mod menus should still be able to do most of the things needed, especially if you tweak them a bit.
kark actually you are kinda wrong but yea there are mod menus for mw2 campaign, one of them is an SVG file so he wont need a jailbreak , i think its this one, ua-cam.com/video/PVKXS-2jtBU/v-deo.html its like a cfg menu

If you can't see your players folder simply start iw4sp or mp and close it. You should see it then.

Does not work on multiplayer sadly. You cannot get vac banned on singleplayer or spec ops. VAC does not run on singleplayer games.
