    The mustang is cool, but not a fastback. Was really interested in that, just about given up on you brother. Can’t wait to hear more about that project.

    The fastback is looking great! Mine just got back from paint and needed about as much panel replacement as yours. It came out perfect though, I'm sure yours will too. Keep up the good work! The coupe looks awesome

    I have 67 fastback restomod that'll be done in a couple months. If I could to do it again I would scrap the uni-body in favor of a full Detroit speed chassis. They aren't cheap but in the end it actually would have been less than the cost of all the fab time.

    very nice coupe, going from that 13" aftermarket steering wheel to a more stock size will make it TONS easier to drive and the radiator fan should be a 5 min fix with the right temperature probe or whatever it is called in the wiring, maybe get the wheels plasti-dipped a flat black and call it good

    Can't say I care for the coupe theme. The Torq-Thrust-look wheels are definitely the best part. The paint looks rattle-can to me. Not a fan of tinted glass on classic cars. Why hide that great interior? The traction control bars aren't a look I care for. Same with the shifter and steering wheel. Kinda like having a blower sticking out of the hood. I grew up with mods like those, so it seems kinda high school.
    I had a '67 coupe in Wimbledon White that was basically stock and a '67 fastback Shelby clone (red w/ white Le Mans stripes). Mods were subtle. Biggest was in the fastback - a 5.0L from a '95. (Not a change some purists would make - to each their own, just like this coupe.)
    Hey, any '67 Mustang is cool and I'm sure that one is fun. Just not my cup of black tea.

    What the hell about this car is a restomod? It doesn't even have power steering. Restomodding is adding modern day comfort to older cars. Adding Ac, adding power steering, adding anti lock brakes, going from drum to disk brakes, going from leaf springs to independant suspension, going from carburated to EFI, adding heated seats, or a more modern radio/ sound system. This car is NOT a restomod.

    Hi Evan. That "Notch back " ( not sure some folks like that description, so l apologise ) is a great buy for someone. And you must be excited to see the progress on yours , but even more exciting is the workshop........WOW! That looks like it could be finished in a couple of months . Great stuff ! Thanks for sharing .

      Thanks, John! I'm super excited to see the progress on the Fastback. It's coming along nicely. I'm really hoping it can hit the road by the end of this summer. And yes - the shop is my DREAM SHOP! It's going to be amazing to have all the space for cars, working, etc. You're right: it should be done in a few months!
      I hope all is well!

    shes coming along beautifully, have you decided what type of power steering you are going to use? looking at using EPAS in my 67 convertible, shopping parts was very reasonable and is supposed to be very effective and reliable. Best of luck on the fastback

      Thank you! I've got the Borgeson box in the other Mustang coupe, and I love it. I think that is my go-to setup now. I haven't heard of the EPAS but I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip!

      Where will you be getting the EPAS from?

    • @meek01__53
      @meek01__53 2 роки тому

      @@Jos_kem_137 I actually watched a number of UA-cam videos about EPAS and found a guy who was parting out a Toyota Prius, he had the steering column,motor and electronic switch i needed. Bought the wiring of Ebay, have about $300 including a heim joint. My mechanic is going to do the install since I don't have a saw to cut the original driveshaft. It seems like a very straightforward process to install.
