Instead of our regular DIYs we thought we would cater to a different audience for this video. Someone a little more furry and a little more friendly. Thats right folks its another addition of Ikea pet up cycles! We used a kallax storage unit and a basic shelf to make things that are not only perfect for pets, but not sore on the eyes in terms of decor.

me: takes 6 hours to make cat lounger
my cat: sleeps in random old box
My cat came from a shelter, she would only sleep in black bags because that's where she felt safe. So I got a black bag and put it in the bed I made. Every day I'd cut the bag down until it was gone. It took a while but she now uses a normal bed.
Maybe try the same, pop some cardboard in the cats new bed and then slowly take it away.
@@vintagecameragirl awww
I agree Lauren Edwards we brought my cat a big soft fluffy bed and he sleeps in my old baby chair xD

Becky: "This peachy-orange, neon salmon color..."
Me: "...Coral?"
Lol I love when people don't know colors
It looked too orange to be coral to me
@@Katie-fv6ej There are a few shades in the "coral" family if you google it. Similar to how "red", or "pink" have different shades. ☺ But either way "peachy-orange, neon salmon" made me laugh.
Joanne Kebort I would call it orange sherbet

I’m really glad you did a hamster diy since so many people just do dog and cat! However as a hamster owner that’s pretty impractical as it’s not hamster safe or durable and seems pretty messy. I think with a few tweaks it’d be super useful.
That cage isnt suitable at all. Hamsters need at least 6inch deep bedding throughout their entire cage, along with at least 450sq inches of *unbroken* floor space. This broken up cage design is not fun for the hamster, or very suitable. Getting an Ikea Detolf shelf and DIYing it like lots of other people would be much safer and better for your hamster
TLDR: Safety concerns regarding unsecure pieces posing intestinal bloackages and choking. Hamster cage materials are fairly toxic, can cause intestinal blockages and respirstory disease.
I love the effort and appreciation behind this video but i have some serious concerns. Had it not been safety related i wouldn't have shared. The cat toy while freeking adorable is a serious safety issue. Gluing the felt pieces , especially the small ones can come off way to easily for a cat and could be ingested and cause an obstruction or choking hazard..same goes for string, its probably one of the biggest causes for exploratory surgery in cats as it can wrap around parts of the intestine and cause the intestine to die and ultimately require some serious medical issues or death. Always secure things by sewing and or not putting them at all...also people need to remove any toy like this when they are not around and must be monitored to ensure no defective issues. Cat bed on point though! The hamster cage could work for some hamsters if they arnt chewers but most are. All the materials like tape, mdf, im assuming the kalix has mdf as well, plastic flooring are all dangerous for rodents to chew for the chemicals in them (their little bodies cant handle them) and an obstruction in the gi tract. Also the risk for escape would be pretty nerve racking. This cage would have to be checked and cleaned daily..as wood/cardboard soaks up urine easily and the build up in ammonia would be pretty quick (causes respiratory issues) so any chewing would speed up this process. I think it is a great idea in theory dont get me wrong here...its really just the materials used and made with safer materials could make this spot on.
Yeah, I was thinking that as well. I’m glad the cage was at least a decent size, but the details needed a bit more thought I think.
this is so true. my cat ate a string and it ended in surgery where part of her intestines being removed and a $3000 vet bill
yeah idk why they didn’t just use a detolf cage! 😂
@@kassidyhoyt9727 im so sorry this happened to you and your furbaby. I hope he/she is doing better now, this is exactly what I'm afraid. ❤
Running Oninsulin thank you because I didn't feel like typing all of this out myself!
This is a weird request but when you talked about Barbie I had to ask: can you diy a dollhouse?
I cracked up when I saw the cat biting the sun toy!
LOL same. I'd enjoy seeing them diy miniature furniture
this would be the cutest
I really love you guys and hate to poo poo your fits but Timbits will poison himself or escape that enclosure.
He has long teeth. He can chew through that entire unit within a night. Chewing is a favourite. 2 shelf liner isn't hamster safe. Electrical tape isn't hamster safe. Paint isn't hamster safe.
Please see Ontario hamster club on FB as a great source of info for proper hamster habits.
This is what I was thinking! No way is my hamster not going to chew the whole thing down to saw dust looking bits.
Now I do agree with a lot of what you say but disagree with him chewing through it. A hamster may cause damage to the cage but they can’t chew through unless you’re not paying attention. Now each hamster is unique and has different chewing habits. Some will chew everything in sight. Others are content with hard food and designated chewing mats. The supplies used for crafting depends on your hamster. My hamster likes to taste everything 🤦🏼♀️ so when I make things for him I use toxic free hot glue (yes it’s a thing) or kids glue. Now the paint is definitely not safe for hamsters. There are so many non toxic kids paints that can be used.
I do understand all your concerns and appreciate you and all the others for advocating for Timbit. Hamsters are very neglected/abused. Especially in the US
(Source: hamster owner and crafter that has done a lot of research). 😊
OMG I want to live in the hamster house!
A small strip of plexiglass at the bottom of the screened side would probably prevent some stuffing from coming out of timbits new home
Hot glue and felt will not hold up against my cats no matter how cute that little sun toy is
I noticed the sun was gone by the second shot of the cat, so I figured the sun was destroyed real quick! 😂
Lol, I thought the same, but it wouldn't be too hard to hand stitch since it's so cute! Maybe glue everything in place first & reinforce it by sewing. I also might use the stretchy but sturdy elastic to hang it up since the cat would be pulling on it. That's what most of my cat toys had anyway 😊
me too lol, it's also unsafe to use hot glue for cat toys :') sewing it would make it much safer and more durable and it could be made from thicker fleece/materials
I love pet diys, and both of these *look* really cute, but they’re impractical unfortunately. As others mentioned, a cat would destroy that cute sun in two seconds and may end up ingesting hot glue. I think it would be best to describe in detail how to secure the patio chair to the walls. Since it juts out from the wall, misplaced weight could cause damage even with a good anchor. Hanging a toy from a shelf above also runs the risk of the cat yanking down that shelf as well.
As for the hamster cage... it’s adorable, but the only hamster-safe things in there are the things Timbit brought from him old home. As you pointed out, the Kallax is basically cardboard. If a hamster chewed through the electrical tape, they could also easily chew through the unit itself. Hamsters not only run the risk of chewing the wire, but also may climb the wire and risk cutting their poor toes.
I love how both ideas look and sound, but they’re risky choices for your pet, particularly the hamster cage. I hope you continue to do pet DIYs, but please please please research very carefully when involving tiny creatures in your project. And please consider saying something about the safety of this design.
Maybe some modifications would be more of a thin acrylic with holes in for the windows instead of mesh. The mesh isn’t great for their toes.
My dad made my old degu cage out of a plastic bin and wire caging and they were fine, so maybe it might be a bit rough for hamsters but other rodents it would be alright I think!
A lot of people use the Ikea Detof? to make hamster cages. Erin's Animals did it
make sure you drill into the wall studs (also it would depend on the weight of your cat)
Also it would have been better if the cat cushion was washable...
While this is cool I have a few problems with it as someone who owns hamsters..
All that plastic you used isn’t good for the hamster. When making things like this you have to keep in mind the hamster is probably gonna chew through things. If it eats that plastic at the bottom & the plastic protector it isn’t going to go well.
That tape is also would be a no no. The adhesive isn’t good.
Hamsters need at least 3-4 in of bedding on the floor of their whole habitat. You aren’t even giving him an inch on the majority of it. Yes the borrowing spot is really nice however it doesn’t cover for this.
The paint on the mesh for he chewing reason wouldn’t also be a no no... the mesh itself is fine but why paint it with the paint that he could potentially chew and eat?
All my chewing points could probably get by if you had a hamster that never chews on ANYTHING however those are extremely not common and I’ve never seen one.
Any and everything rodent, or dog...or cat...or bird...or baby will chew on everything. So if you wouldn't put it in your system, don't use it for your pets. I know because I've owned all of those pets and have babysat for years. You have to be more conscientious about things when making stuff for pets.
Yeah, there were a lot of concerning things about the hamster habitat. Made me really nervous.
I have a hamster and he rarely chews on stuff only if it's treats but I have a ton of chew toy options for him and he still doesn't chew on them so if I'm one of the lucky ones that don't have a hamster that chews
6 inches of bedding throughout most of the enclosure is actually recommended
Airy74 I agree! I think they did it to keep costs down. Their last pet vid was ages ago so I'm assuming Timbit is an old man now and isn't like,y to last that much longer which is why I think they cut some corners with cheaper materials. If you see his old cage, this one is far more spacious which is a great step but the materials aren't great. Let's hope the lil guy isn't a chewer!
I'm not a hamster expert, but I don't think that kallax unit is hamster safe. They are going to chew the electrical tape and the wire mesh. It would be better to use a non toxic paint and plexiglass. Always make sure everything is hamster safe before using it in a cage. For a good, hamster safe DIY channel I recommend Erin's animals
That is exactly who I was gonna recommend. especially since she made a cage out of an old bookcase or something herself not too long ago.
That hamster cage isnt suitable at all.
:( Hamsters need at least 6inch deep bedding throughout their entire cage, along with at least 450sq inches of *unbroken* floor space. This broken up cage design is not fun for the hamster, or very suitable. Getting an Ikea Detolf shelf and DIYing it like lots of other people would be much safer and better for your hamster
Even then this isn't great because eventually all that hamster pee is going to sink into the wood and the ammonium levels will get high.
@@Dimsrose that's why refinishers usually add a layer of glass or plexiglass sealed with Aquarium silicone above any wood they use to make diy cages. Easy wipe, no sinking in of pee.
There is exactly one supposedly safe for rodent sealant, "plastikote" paint on, not the spray on can but the paint on type, but it's not feasible for entire cages as it is costly and comes in small bottles. People use it for smaller wooden items though.
Small animals are delightful, expensive, and exhausting ❤️
No girls no! The hamster cage is all wrong - they will chew through anything, including electrical tape, the plastic page protector, AND the paint coating the wire mesh. Good intentions but poor research on the needs of the hamster.
I agree - eating paint and plastic can't be good for the hamster :/ What's problematic is that this is giving the impression that anyone can just build whatever to suit a hamster's needs, and that's a dangerous message to send to a younger audience.
All hamsters are different though. I hade one that I had to put in a fish tank wrather than a homemade one due to too much chewing of bars. But my current hamster does not chew anything even toys (unless teeth are getting too long) 🐹
@@AndrewsEdits fish tanks are actually the safest homes for hamsters!
@@jessy6576 I know but DIYing a cage can be cheaper, and you are able to add more areas for hamsters to burrow, hide, play, and explore😁
@@AndrewsEdits That is actually a thing. It is much better for hamsters not to be kept in a wire cage. Also uninterrupted floor space is key for any hamster so it would have been so much better if they removed the 'shelves' entirely so it would be one big cage instead of essentially 4 small ones.
Sorry, but my hamster would gnaw through that thin mdf in one night. And the tape would be gone pretty soon too. Would never feel that my pet was safe in that kallax.
There are lots of people who use the IKEA Detolf shelf as a cage for hamsters which is mostly glass and easy to clean. Plus it's bigger.
Oh, nice tipp!
Literally lol, why didn’t they just use a detolf
My rats would be gone in 1hr
@@eviesmith8167 because this is a diy channel and they can't really do anything with the detolf
rojas family Make a lid, would have been nice to see. Or some accessories for inside, they could if added some legs.
I really like the idea if the cage with different units, but as a hamster owner I would say that it might would be better with the opening ot the top and a glass front.
So if I would do this diy I would put some plexiglass at the front, so i can watch my little hammy and cut a hole in the original top and than make a lid with these wire thingies you guys used for the front.
Really enjoyed this video and I really want to see more pet Diys, love u!
I was thinking the same as you lol
I like your idea but how are you going to cut holes in the top without breaking the structure? Since the 'sides' keep the shelf together. This is a genuine question 😅
Not to mention the painted mesh is probably hazardous
@@Butterfly01_NL add one new side before cutting it
@@Butterfly01_NL I don't really know how to explain it properly (english isn't my first language) but I think, leaving a 10cm wide frame and nailing the "shelves" to this frame, keeps the structure. So you don't remove the side portion. In my head it makes sense, but maybe I'm forgetting something and this wouldn't work in reality?!
Wire mesh and house paint in a hamster cage??? WTF, please do your research when it comes to animals and their safety!!!
I totally agree, also not a fan of hot-glueing a cat toy since because of the catnip they're most definitely going to chew on it quite intensely
They have clearly focused on gimmicks rather than safe and stimulating enrichment for animals/pets. Very irresponsible!
Sadly again not good for hamsters. Hamsters need at least 450 sq inches of unbroken space and a tube or small hole doesnt count.
You got lots of good info last time for hamster. But still :(
The tape isnt safe because when they chew it can stick in their pouches.
And the paint has to be special paint.
You can't hot glue something an animal (cat in this case) is gonna chew on
@@viceb7 umm, she didn't hot glue the pillow, she hot glued a toy then they showed the cat chewing on it, pay attention
@@emilymulcahy whoops totes didn't watch the whole video lol
Lovely diys but very unsafe for a hamster as it can be easily chewed through. Also you made yourself a lot of work by using the Kallax instead of just using the ikea detolf
I’m going out rn to get a cat...so I can make this patio lounger. 🐈
😂 same
As a lot of people have pointed out, that paint and tape in the hamster cage seem to be kind of unsafe :(
They also require a lot of open floor space covered with substrate to burrow, not just one little compartment filled with it. It's a very cute piece of furniture, but not a good cage. If having a proper hamster cage doesn't work for your decor, then perhaps a hamster isn't the right pet for you.
It would have been much better if instead of wire they would have used plexy glass and have the top come of instead of the side. Also, like you said, uninterrupted floor space is key for any hamster and one big cage would have been much better in stead of the 4 small ones it had now. Making your own cage to better suit the furniture in your house is a fine idea but they should have researched better to what a hamster truly needs for a cage.
The sun is really cute thou I would not mark it cat safe due to the smal parts, and the ease the playing force of a cat will rip it open and therefore likelihood of ingesting glue. Top marks for the decor thou, soooo cute!
lolol my cat would DESTROY that sun but it's very very very cute
I don't think that paint is hamster safe :((((((((((
I really think the whole thing is not hamster safe at all. My hamster loved biting wood and the whole kallax is made out of it..
Also the mesh even if it's small it could encourage the ham to climb it and it could get it's little feet stuck :(
It is (: many ikea furniture is safe for hamsters
@@hellocatiie it being wood an issue but you are right the cage isn't good cage for a hamster. Not enough floor space that isn't broken up, not enough bedding throughout the cage.
@@nostalghia. Some are safe, but even if so, if you notice your hamster chewing the wood, get a new cage. My hamster isn't a chewer, so his acrylic painted melamine DIY cage is fine, but chewers in general shouldn't have wood cages.
You guys should do a DIY for making a litter box area practical, cute and mess/smell free (as much as possible with a litterbox).
They have
I use pine pellets. They smell great and no mess.
Pine pellets + sieve type litter box
Works like a charm :)
Because hot glue is very healthy for cats, I might eat it for lunch tomorrow. You know if ya cat can eat it I should basically be able to eat it
Annabel Lundgren omw that is hilarious 😂😂
So, I have recently acquired a bearded dragon and have been obsessively looking at ways to make his enclosure better. I think a clear plexiglass or glass would have looked a little more clean, then you could have drilled holes and placed vents on the back panel (sides and dividers too) for circulation. It is hard to see our little hamster friend through the metal mesh and could possibly cut him over time. I loved the idea though.
As everyone has mentioned, they need unbroken floor space, to be able to run around. There’s too much to chew, which is bad for him - he also needs a bigger wheel.
I recommend getting the detolf for a hamster cage. Especially if you have a syrian.
A hamster will probably bite into both the plastic and the metal mesh that you painted, so I would find some other ways to do that. Also that thing would make such a mess every time you open it.
The cat bed was great though!
That hamsters gonna escape. Gonna chew through that cheap stuff 🤣
It's super cute though,
I would really love to see some pet diys for large dogs, or even a video on upcycling old furniture in your home or that you could find on city clean up days or “trash days” as we call it
Small and medium dogs too?
That hamster cage doesn't seem safe at all, I feel like he would chew on that painted mesh and the electrical tape :( I also feel like it would be easier to clean out of the there were two doors on the front that opened side to side instead of downward.
Tape is not safe for hamsters):
I agree. That’s what annoyed me throughout the video, especially taping down the burrow place and taping the holes.
Yes
I love the sorry girls but people need to do more reserch about hamsters
What would you suggest as an alternative? (Not being snarky, just genuinely interested if you have any ideas?) Do you think vinal wall molding would work? Are there safe adhesive products we could use?
It would be why better to take the Walls off to have a big cage instead of 4 sections
Please get a detolf for the hammy.
Affordable and a happy ham ham.
I also dont think that plastic is chew proof, also is the mesh safe?
And the paint on the mesh
The mesh is fine. People use it all the time on DIY bin cages. However the paint on the mesh more than likely isn’t good at all because chemicals in the paint..
The plastic is not but the mesh is fine, you can also see they used chalk paint which is a form of latex so it is safe... But the size of the area is far too small and all the staples are very dangerous, I made my Robo a cage and used staples thinking they were smarter then nails and he had started to pull them out within two weeks. At that they will pull at bedding so the cage just seems like a huge mess.
Table Cat Why didn’t they just use a detolf lol
@@eviesmith8167 They go this stuff a lot. Lacking research. A lot of their projects are unsafe and can cause serious harm.
My hamster would chew through that MDF board in like an hour
*hmm, the only thing I need now is a pet...* 😂😂😂
Love the idea of a hamster cage with several ‚rooms‘.
Since it’s just rectangles, basically, this could have been easily diy‘ed out of solid wood, though. Laminated mdf really isn’t a great idea around animals, that gnaw on stuff. I mean, think about it. There’s glue and other nasty chemicals in there. Who knows, what that will do your pet, when they ingest small particles of it.
I'm sorry to interfere but I feel a need to point out that uninterrupted floor space is very important to any type of hamster and 1 big cage would be vastly superior to a cage that is essentially 4 small cages stuck together. The cage in the DIY would be far better if they removed the 'shelves' entirely. I definitely agree that there could have been a better choice for materials as well though.
I agree with you TSprong
That cage isnt suitable at all. Hamsters need at least 6inch deep bedding throughout their entire cage, along with at least 450sq inches of *unbroken* floor space. timbit’s new digs are so sick!! for sure one of the coolest up-cycles you’ve done so far!!
Y’all should totally make a pet commercial now with the pet items you’ve made!😻 would be interesting and fun to watch
Quick, get the Hamster lady herself to explain why the cage is all wrong!
I’ve made a few units for pets, I would add extra ventilation at the back! I would do half the board and have a strip along the top of mesh. At the front I would have some sort of barrier to stop bedding falling through the mesh. I’ve used plexiglass before to do this and with the added back ventilation it won’t affect airflow. In addition using silicone to seal all the joins is a vital step to ensure no moisture (urine or water) can seep between the pieces!
Make sure if you’re using paint that it’s pet safe! Mesh wise you can get ones that are coat in plastic which I find better to stop possible rusting and to protect animals if they are chewers.
Also depending on your animal/size of cage some times it helps to have separate opening doors rather than one big door. So for this you could
Consider making the front door into two separate openings. So you can have one half closed and the other open.
Hi sorry girls, I work for IKEA USA always I enjoyed watching how you guys make so much Ikea hacks, give me a lot of ideas for my own house.
Please do car accessory and organization diys!!

ErinsAnimals makes diy IKEA cages :)
All I could think about when Becky was making the cat lounger is Kelsey taking it home to put on her patio for the raccoons!!
I think I’ll do something like the cat shelf, but add a scratcher on the lower upright piece
Great idea! It would be even cuter if the lower shelf was a horizontal scratchmat and the upper shelf was the lounger and they were arranged so a cat could jump from one to the other. Maybe even have more of these in stair formation up the wall to satisfy cats' need for high spaces!
we were definitely playing with this idea too!
The kitty was already eyeballing that upper shelf- I hope they don't put anything breakable up there because the cat will jump up there .
That hamster hutch is the bomb! I love that it looks like a really nice piece of furniture as well as being functional, perfect for smaller spaces so that you don't waste a bunch of space with an ugly cage!
No, it wasn't. It is totally wrong for a hamster, first of all, the hamster would chew thought the shelves really fast as its not real wood. also, hamsters need unbroken floor space and lots of beading to nest in. So if you make this cage for a hamster it is abusing the animal. Hamsters are living things so the home shouldn't be a pace of furniture
Hamster owners, how in the world does the hamster get out of the burrow zone? I feel like once they’re in they’re trapped forever...
Do you mean to the oljer sections or out of the cage?
If they burrow themself down the can just burrow upwords
Ariana Rørvik ok I just thought they’d weigh down the paper but maybe I’m wrong

Hamster will chew that piece of furniture up...no really. Especially to either sharpen teeth and/or make bedding. Like cats doesn’t matter if they have bedding or toys they will destroy whatever they want. Also they just might to want to escape.
Very cool. I am sure that the kitty and hamster think they are great. I enjoy your DIYs.
love your videos! even after all these years, TSG videos are always sooo top notch and entertaining. thanks for always putting out great content!
It made me so happy that you did one for a hamster! I own rats and it's tough finding cute yet functional cages that are also the right square footage that they need! This is getting me excited to make an even bigger version (maybe the 2x4 Kallax!) for my boys :)
This wouldnt be very good for rats tbh. I have both males and females and they would chew right through this in no time, its basically made of carbdboard..and mine also chew through wood so while it would initially be good wouldnt last for long. Also there wouldn't be enough ventilation as ammonia build up wood be super fast I think if you did want to try this for rats you would want to stack two units...rats need more vertical climbing and nesting space for a cage ( makes them feel safer and builds better/natural musculature) VS a hamster. So maybe stack two units..have holes between the two units for access. You would have to put in a more permanent flooring option as they would pull up and chew that plastic pretty quickly..and you would need mesh on either side for both ventalation and chewing. Mdf is also not that safe for them to chew or ingest so id be pretty concerned to use any "wood material from ikea"
@@runningoninsulin9053 I agree! My boys chew but not as much as other rats I've known. I would definitely do a 2 level with mesh on both sides for ventilation. And the plastic flooring definitely wouldn't be the best choice for rats either. I also personally use fleece as bedding for my rats, rather than a loose bedding. So figuring out how that would work is also something to figure out. I'll definitely keep doing research on the best options for rats in terms of a DIY cage!
@@AnUntitledAdventure I found some cheap critter nations and i still have gripes about the cage construction a "cleanability" but before that i went through so many ideas..there are a lot of ideas online and honestly i dont think its one size fits all really comes down to the person and the micheif. when i used to do fleece, i went to the thrift store and would find human pee pads..the washable kind and i would put that down first then secure my fleece over top..it helped a lot with soaking in and the underside is a barrier that doesn't get wet which helped stop it just sitting wet on whatever surface it was on. Good luck on your research!
Love that you guys do everything yourself. So boss!
Omg the kitty lawn chair is toooo cute
Love these. Speaking from experience of having a serial escapee hamster.....it would have been super cool if the front of the cage had 2 doors. Like 1 that closed 3 panels/cubes and 1 that was just for the food and water part. Would also mean you could open it with 1 hand when you have food/fresh water in your other hand. Lots of love xx
Ex fashion student here-try a clear fabric ruler for your fabric projects! That way you can see your edge and seam allowance. You guys are great!
Love these ideas however the hamster cage is really unsafe for any type of small animal that will chew through things. The plastic, the electrical tape, the paint on the wire mesh and the coating on the ikea unit itself, These things are all super harmful to rodents. Even if you don't think that your specific pet isn't the type to chew through things, there's always a risk. This isn't meant to be a hateful comment, The cage is super cute, but please do your research about things that could be harmful to animals if you make anymore pet diys x
Whatever personal items are on the top shelf are getting knocked down once kitty gets a sniff of that cat nip. He he
When you pin things for sewing, consider pinning them perpendicular to the stitches so you can sew right over them without having to stop and readjust every time. :) Doesn't work for cutting, but once you're ready to sew it's nice.
My hamster would escape from that so fast... they chew through everythinggggggg... great idea but... not safe.
I kind of was thinking too that the cat will probably be all over the shelf above the lounger...and that hamsters would chew through the wood/ partical board and screen in no time...however I'm feeling super inspired to create some kind of fancy enclosure for my tortoise now!! Of course it would have to be larger...even though he's one of the smaller ones they still do a lot of stomping but you've totally got me thinking of ideas now!! And tortoises won't eat through those materials yay! The other thing I was thinking is that you could still use the cabinet as a hamster enclosure but it would be more safe and secure if you had a glass tank on the inside at least and then diy'd the walls inside out of hay maybe or something so that it would be safe for when they inevitably chewed through that. It would be more pricey and kind of defeats the purpose of being able to use the shelves as dividers but would still look great. And if you still cut out the inner parts of the shelf/ dividers and kept the outside to attach it would still have the cube look to it.
The DIY are cute but the pets are cutter 😍 that hamster is adorable.
THAT HAMSTER IS SO SPOILEDDDD 😍😍🤣🤣
So CUTE! And also guys watching the video don't just diy the cage for your rodent, first look up information about your fluffy friend. The cage is definitely not the best for a lot of rodents like rats for example should have very breathable, meshed cages in order to stay healthy (genetical lung problems) and tall ones too so they can climb. that's it from me hah great video!❤
@@nostalghia. I thought it isnt but I wasn't sure cause I've never had hamsters in my adult life. I guess the cage wouldn't be suitable for any animal right?
Ahhh, if you guys do another one of these videos, could you pretty please DIY a wire dog crate to be more visually appealing and make the top of the crate a functional table space?
Okay they’re both cute but the clip of the cat enjoying his new furniture is the cutest thing ever
If I was gonna make the hamster one I would put pvc screen instead of the plastic wallet with latches so it can come down and change the bedding but it wouldn't be dangerous if the hamster chewed it 🐾🐹 loved this video so much, please do more do diys for bigger dogs 🥰🥰
your pets look so happy! this is so sweet
