Kira Smith Thank you, that’s very nice! I wanna try it with Resin and Mica. I don‘t know how to DM you, I can‘t find the button. Have you a link or something? Otherwise, I try it simply. 👍🏻
Ah I love Wendy's channel, I'm learning how to sew but also her voice is just so nice to listen to. A while ago I was getting a bit sick of all those loud and hyper youtubers and then I found her 😌
I wouldn’t be surprised if some famous HGTV designer sees this and tries to replicate it. Y’all are crazy talented. Love watching this channel and you guys grow. So good. So so good.
You could honestly ignore the glass and just build the frame and add curtains or little shelf’s in between the paneling. That might be cheaper than a huge sheet of plexiglass? Not sure though.
I’ve had a studio before and hated how small it was and how it was only one room but every time you guys make cute diy dividers like this you make me believe I want a studio again
golden and silver accessories I watched some of your videos and the necklace and bracelets are so cute wish I could recreate those it’s so beautiful 😍 I
dude i just realized that your videos remind of when my dad would watch woodworking late at night and i’d stay up to cuddle with him, it’s so cozy for me ❤️
They don't provide materials needed or cost estimates, which are literally what make something a diy tutorial. They gloss over several crucial steps in both the design and assembly process. It's a cool wall, but this whole thing is more of a flex.
Wow. You guys just made me sooo happy. I was literally looking for years on a video that taught you how to create a glass wall without welding metal together. Universe must have heard me. So glad I subscribed when I did! Keep up the awesome work!
i’ve always wanted to live somewhere with partitions like this but knew it would come at a super high cost so when i have my own place i am so doing this! it looks so good and customisable to the space you have and style you want! im actually shocked how seamless and amazing it looks
Who remembers TSG's talking about wanting to make this exact DIY like 6 months ago? So glad they figured it out and were able to make it. I'd live to have this in my house. 😍😍😍
So amazing! Looks like she's sleeping in a green house. You girls just keep getting better. I'm in awe of your bravery. Is there anything you won't try? Next I think you should build a tiny house.
Ok, first, this is amazing. Also, i would have made a frame in both sides and sandwich the plexi in the middle, more stability and it would look better from the inside.
love this! contingency suggestion, add a black thin curtain rod on the inside along side the panels all the way at the top and add soft sheer natural white/off white curtains and flow half closed half open to add some coziness and a tiny bit more privacy! this will add texture and warmth to both - the "bedroom" and the rest of the loft
I just can't believe how AWESOME this DIY turned out! It looks fantastic and so high end!! I absolutely love it - now I want a wall like that in my house!!!
My name literally is Susan and I’m “clutching my pearls,” at 5:59. I still have the protective plastic on my washer and dryer and it has been years since I’ve first got them. 🤷🏻♀️
end result looked amazing! but also incredibly unstable by how they are attached to the wall! one accidental trip or bump up against that plexi wall and it's over 😱
@@tiarobinson8624 that's clearly not enough.... the lower part is not attached anywhere... and this is not glass, so no rigidity either.... someone fall in to it, every thing would follow and break
@@purpleway1713 yeah you're spot on. i was so impressed with how it looked visually and then I was like hold on... are they seriously only going to anchor it in 1 spot at the very top and not even into the studs??? into the drywall??? this would ideally have to be screwed into the floor but I imagine wendy is renting.
I agree and still think it needs to be fixed to the floor. All it would take is Wendy to lose her balance one time and lean against it and it would all come crashing down. 😥
this is the most magical thing i have ever seen in my life. it makes me want to move out like tomorrow and make it for my own apartment and im still in high school LMFAO
If anyone wanted a frost d look you can add clear contact paper. When it’s put on glass or plexi it ends up being translucent frosty. It’s what we use for faking out frosted window displays at Anthropologie.
First, I love this. Second, I'm very jealous of those, so confident in their shirt tuck, they don't feel the need to hold it closed whilst bending down.
OMG I LOVE THIS!! my husband and I are moving into an open space with no walls and I’ve been up n down on Pinterest and UA-cam in search of some inspo to give the space some separation and this is perfect!

Righttttttt

she said she’s planning on maybe moving to New York after a few months so I don’t think we’ll see any more major redecorating soon guys
When you said “we’re gonna go to Wendy’s” I was like... why would you go to a fast food restaurant to build this
I hate myself lmfaoooo
Okay but that’s lowkey everything. Seperates the space but it stills looks open because glass
RIGHT?! We want this for our loft now
So, smart.
At least the smell from the kitchen will be less lmao
I think I would install something to pull up from the floor when needed.

Hello my name is melinda ☺️
I would have sandwiched the glass between 2 pieces of wood so it looks like a frame from both sides
Oh that's a really good idea!!
It would also make it stronger and more stable.
exactly what I thought :D
That was my first thought. It probably looked kind of weird from the inside

This is CRAZY COOL. It is so perfect for the type of space she has since her bed wasn't in its own defined space. LOVE.
Really well done ! I like that the ‘windows’ are rectangular and not square it draws the eye up more and helps elongate.

I would really love a cost estimate for this project!
That plexiglass alone is worth hundreds
Yeah. Just 1/8” thick 4x8 sheet of plexi can run you $130-50 a sheet. But those 1x2s are pretty inexpensive. It definitely balanced out.
W Oin same !!!
I'm 99% sure it's not plexiglass. It looks like acrylic sheets which are cheaper but still very expensive. (~$100)
You could honestly ignore the glass and just build the frame and add curtains or little shelf’s in between the paneling. That might be cheaper than a huge sheet of plexiglass? Not sure though.

I kind of liked the plexiglass with the protective cover on it! Gave it an out of focus look 😊 you guys did a great job!
