You can't take out the cushion anyway because the thread for the tufted effect goes through the whole cushion.... so you wouldn't be able to remove it anyway
I never would have even thought about using furniture fabric covers to make a floor cushion. Fabric is so expensive so it is a great alternative. Thanks for sharing
I really love the lamp! I've found Ikea lamps very loose on the floor holders and wobble, so good - and attractive - solution! And yay for the Invisible Stitch to close the floor pouf!!
This video inspired a lot! You should try doing a video where you make projects from supplies only from a grocery store! This included seasonal, stationary and any aisle like that but it’d be interesting to see what you could make from such little and obscure resources! You guys are amazing! Love the vids / podcast so much !!
You are my favorite excuse for not getting anything done at work. Love what you did with the lamps althoughI will have to see the video again to understand it. Also I never thought about the yardage involved with slipcovers. You’re right! Makes perfect sense! Love your video content love what you guys do! Young people are so terrific!
If you find those buttons popping off you can add a little "button" of faux leather or thick fabric on the bottom side to stop the knot from popping through if someone sits down heavily on the cushion (I've seen this on vintage furniture ☺️)
They make everything seem so simple... Example: Sorry girls:I'm just going to sew this up... (After one minute) Sorry girls:I'm done (Holds up 100 dollar worth item) Me:this is easy enough...bring it on! (One minute later) Me:finally finished with THREADING the sewing machine!
i=I have seriously been binge watching all day! today IS NOT A GOOD DAY FOR ME MENTALLY!! Thanks for all of the content the content to help me through! ugh
Little tufting hack: just use a normal, small button ( there are usually really cheap fabric lined ones in craft stores, that are used on sheets. They should protect your floors from scratching) on the other side of the cushion (or whatever ur tufting). Makes it very easy to knot and pull tight the thread 👍🏻
Really big ottomans are always so expensive. I know you already have an ottoman video but I’d love to see you create a really sturdy cushioned round one ! Love you guys!!
I didn't know there was "As Is" @ Ikea. Totally loved all the ideas. My favourite was the pouf (this coming from a gal with 2 sewing machines who doesn't sew). Thnx for inspiring.
Loved this one❣️❣️❣️ Great ideas & the wall sconces was great❣️ And I Sooo want the floor cushion❣️❣️❣️ So greatfull you did a "sew" easy DIY for the floor cushion that I can now recreate myself & for Sooo much less than purchasing one👍😉❣️
The floor poof definitely should have been made with a zipper and the couch cushion could have been made smaller to fit Inside it. Floor Poof's need to be washable and a removable cover is much easier to wash than the whole thing.
Hey girls! Would you be able to do a video on sectioning large studios so it doesn’t look like just one giant room? Or how to brighten up a place that doesn’t have much natural light coming in? Love your channel btw! xx!
All of these hacks are very neat! Someone recreating the floor pouf might consider sizing the cover to the size of the pouf with a zipper/repurpose the original zipper. My issue with most floor poufs is cleanliness. Haha. If you kept the cushion as is, and just slipped the cover on, the cover could be removed for laundering!
Love all three!!! You guys killed it this time🎉 The floor pouf will be another nice addition to your parents guest room. Are your patches still available? Thanks for sharing!
Yay! Just what I needed! =D I love you guys, and this has been a bad day, but you make it all better! Could you please consider making another pets diy? I'd love to see what you guys can come up with! hugs! xxx
omg my mom literally just bought me that black lamp from our local IKEA as is section! i was so torn because i really needed a lamp for my room but wasn't that into the look of it, so i DEF wanna try this!
Elly MacRae split and glue the wooden blocks around the pole instead of cutting the wires, doing it the way they did can be dangerous and cause fire. Alternatively get someone that can connect the wires safely.
Try sewing another button on the underside of your cushion. With use, that knot is going to work it's way back into the cushion, possibly even ripping the fabric.
*nervöst skratt*
(nervous laugh in swedish, the language of Ikea🤣)
Wow, very very nice......👌👌👌👌
Lölöl
Cönfident flörror
I need this on a t-shirt :D
That floor pouf looks expensive. Nice hack you did there.
Yes
your "as is" section is so much better than the ikea near me!!!
Same mine is SO small
We don’t have an IKEA 🇦🇷
I thought the same. Closest ikea to me is 6 hours away. : (
Ours is hit or miss
Tessa Rose Sammmmme
That mr. Kate book feature 😆
Becky has been really stepping up the quality! I feel like she spends so much time explaining the crafts and always takes an extra step
Just saying because ive been a fan and subscriber since like 2014
Love the poof! However, i would’ve stuffed the cover with the cushion itself to make the thing washable
was thinking the same thing! still turned out cute but versatility and washability would've made it even better
You can't take out the cushion anyway because the thread for the tufted effect goes through the whole cushion.... so you wouldn't be able to remove it anyway
This diy made things more complex
I would live to see you and Mr. Kate do something together! So awesome seeing her book!
I never would have even thought about using furniture fabric covers to make a floor cushion. Fabric is so expensive so it is a great alternative. Thanks for sharing
I don't know why, but I find your channel very empowering. I'm constantly like yess girl you go, we know how to use a drill.
I really love the lamp! I've found Ikea lamps very loose on the floor holders and wobble, so good - and attractive - solution! And yay for the Invisible Stitch to close the floor pouf!!

omg that floor cushion seems so easy! and when you said meditation video - hellooooo, never gonna pay 50 bucks for them, just gonna make my own! 😱

Love, lol! 😜

Totally making that floor pooffff, I desperately want one but they are so expensive..
The lamp thing was weird
Jordie Carter I thought so tooo
Exactly. It was weird before but very weird after on the wall.
too much work to get that
result.
It's a reading lamp
Love the Mr. Kate book!
Yes someone who noticed
I was looking through the comments to see if anyone else saw it 😂
Thank you for the ideas! I had no idea how much a bag of pillow fill was, you guys saved so much money and made a great poof!
‘i like the wall showing through the glass’
picks a plain white wall
really brings out the plain white frame
Wow!!! You are both so creative!!! Love, love, love!!!!!
The wiring on that lamp is not safe!
2:57 When English isn’t your first language and you hear seahooks 😅😂 so confused there for a moment
Emma Ståhl When English *is* your first language, but you've called them "cup hooks" for over 40 years... I was confused, too! Hahaha
Dodging Pineapples It is not easy when it is difficult😂
They make everything seem so simple...
Example:
Sorry girls:I'm just going to sew this up...
(After one minute)
Sorry girls:I'm done
(Holds up 100 dollar worth item)
Me:this is easy enough...bring it on!
(One minute later)
Me:finally finished with THREADING the sewing machine!
those projects turned out very well. I love what you did with the lamp. Looks great on the wall.
i=I have seriously been binge watching all day! today IS NOT A GOOD DAY FOR ME MENTALLY!! Thanks for all of the content the content to help me through! ugh
Love the frame!! I have pressed flowers and i definitely think I need to scope out the As-is for cupboard doors!
You guys are the best for upcycling!
These as is IKEA videos are my faves! You're so good at making them amazing!!
That floor poof looked amazing!!!!
That leaf wall art one turned out suhhhh cute!

❤️ all three!! Very impressed with how the frame turned out 👏
❤️ Love that floor pouf!! I need to go to IKEA again. 😀
I loved the frame! Floor poofs are cute, but I have naughty dogs.
original ikea lamp was never bulky to begin with. would have achieved the same result with its original base.
I loved that picture frame idea! It’s so dang cute and that cushion looks like fun 😊
THOSE FLOOR PILLOWS UGHH
so cute
I thought you will use the whole pillow as is for the pouf and just make the cover for it 😅
Kjf
Same
Yeah same, makes more work to unstuff it!
A YELLOW IKEA BAG HAD LEFT THE STORE! 😱😳
Kelsey Annas Kelsey got it when she slept over in IKEA

I love these types of videos!
Did you just tape the wires back together?? Not safe girl
Amy Drummond I think she connected them before and it was just showing her cover it with electrical tape
Even so it is not safe especially with
Wood involved now on the lamp.
Yaaaay love DIY ideas for ikea items! Affordable and fun! Thanks!!

Sorry Girls: How to DIY a firehazard!

Absolutely love that lamp DIY!
Anybody else hear Becky say “love it if you sub it”? 😀
I'm so doing that picture frame hack!! And the floor poof turned out so well with the button detailing!
Your creativity really inspires me! I love what you did with the glass frame :)
I love these type of videos! The IKEA as-is section my favorite section in the store. I’ll need to make a trip to ikea soon :)
I LOVE the floor pillow! 😍
Great Projects. I am definitely going to diy them! Love this series. Please do more!
Amazing!!! LOVE them all!! 💖💖💖
"This much of this would cost way more than that"
- Becky 2019
The original lamp was definitely better before!
They could have just attached the lamp on the wall with help of some brackets. That would have been easier
That floor poof was excellent!!
So cool projects! This time they are all perfect, but personally prefer the lamp 💗
The floor poof definitely should have been made with a zipper and the couch cushion could have been made smaller to fit Inside it. Floor Poof's need to be washable and a removable cover is much easier to wash than the whole thing.
Well then it wouldn’t have been tufted.
Wow the floor pouf came out great!
I love the as is section... Wow you guys have the biggest as is section ever.. I'm jealous.
The awkward moment when you actually really like and own that exact IKEA lamp
It reminds me of the lamps in my OBGYN office.
@@rachelburton348 Haha to each their own I guess
I NEED you guys for my upcoming wedding!!!! 😭 You both are AMAZING!
Awesome stuff. The lamp looks very cool
I loved the puff! It turned out so cool!

Love the Floor Pouf

Love watching you two. Great ideas
I love this video idea! I often see stuff in thrift stores and think about how questionably cute it is and if I could change that!
The floor pouffe looked amazing

Love the floor cushion! If only I knew how to sew...
That Jenna Marbles "hEll yeAH" 😂😂
If you haven't already, can you do a how to sew, or sewing tips video? I'm always amazed by what you guys can do with a sewing machine!
Love all three!!! You guys killed it this time🎉 The floor pouf will be another nice addition to your parents guest room. Are your patches still available? Thanks for sharing!

Love from India 🇮🇳 ❣️✨
Love you guyyys! You’re one of the reasons i’m going to study interior design 🤗
Because of the thumbnail thought they somehow turned the cushion onto faux brick...... 😂 I was crazy Impressed.
