Your ability to find parking is top notch man. Even when im parking at sunrise , I still have issues finding a place.
Hay Josh how about adding a food blog not every day but sometimes .
No doubt you are already back home jiust in time for this slow moving Alberta Clipper rolling through with all this snow.
The small truck stops you and Schmidt stay at will only be around if you guys will also start buying fuel from them, I understand saving money but it’s the same reason I don’t shop big brand stores, so please consider spending a few cents more to keep the little guys going
Every mom and pop around me smells funky and are the types of places you have to check the expiration dates. Sometimes they do it to themselves.
Hello Josh , Brit and Theo!
Hi from Montreal, when you were driving in the parking lot, it amazes me on how many trucks are on the road.... Take care
I had to go back twice and listen to you dumping that gear to get onto the interstate after getting loaded. That was beautiful and it gave me chills 😂
Yup... "Wheels Ain't Turnin, You Ain't Earnin"
Josh, you amuse me! The irony of your comment that "Texas Does This Right! Highways in the sky." is really funny considering the fact that you were driving on I-10 (also known as the Katy Freeway). The Katy Freeway is par with the Ontario 407 for the competition of widest highway in North America by number of lanes. Its funny because The Katy freeway is known for being an absolute parking lot of traffic congestion. Clearly, they haven't learned that adding another lane does not fix traffic!
I just thought that was funny! Keep on truckin!
You're pretty lucky with your loads, going in and out of the US. You also have such a great attitude. So many newbie drivers could learn a lot from you. Love hearing about Theo. I can't believe how much he's grown!
I always used a tape measure If load is 45k and 45 ft load It's one k per foot put it two ft closer to the back gives you 2k less on drives and on the trailer no need to be slide just measure it is way easier
Thank you for your entertaining videos. You are good at it. I do agree with the jake brake, in the tunnel, being mandatory. Keep up the good work. Been watching you for about eight years.
That 99 Toll Road is a lifesaver for those of us in Houston. I live on the southwest side in a town called Sugar Land and 99 let's us get up north without dealing with most of the notorious Houston traffic.
Josh- your getting onto East 10 was just great shifting wise! Loved the sound and your ability!
Pro Tip: On your GPS you can "Disable" Toll-Roads so it won't recommend toll roads again.
I didn’t know you came way down here, I’m just south of Houston near the coast of Galveston island.
I have learned the mom and pop truck stops. Many are small diners. I have breakfast to thank them and head out. When the chain law is on, I never stop. 150 trucks in a 50 spot truck stop, there will always be several hoods lost.
Just make sure you help keep those mom and pops open. Without your fuel business thats a major part of their business. I don't disagree just remember what keeps them open.
Had a trucker who after a long week always stayed and sleep before he went home too his wife so he was well rested and in a good mood.
tomorrow another day a another dollar, keep smiling.
"That was mandatory" lol
I live in Texas and the roads at night are creepy.
you can set a gps to avoid toll roads.
Just a heads up, in case you come back through the area, the 99 toll road is toll-tag only; there are no cash lanes
So the one in the thing is about you being an owner operator it is a couple years from now he’ll be in the passenger seat beside you then you won’t have to be on the road alone in there you like I’ve said before that was the best pictures my wifeand I can’t wait for those clips of him in the passenger seat
I work on those cat scales all the time! Nice video
got to love passing trucks with the jakes on
Josh. ..going thru Dallas at the overpass, when you turned down the music so we could hear old blue ....much thanks!!
I knew something was missing from my life. Im glad the YT algos put you back on my feed.
Just subscribe and you will get notified when he puts up new videos.
@algomafarming3799 started watching back when diesel was still riding along...kinda drifted off to other content after a while... with how the youtube algos work. But they must have unsuubbed me.
Glad the algos glitched out and put him back in my feed🍻
Resubbed already👊
I went to Cali a couple times with a friend 15 yrs ago, and your right the small truck stops were less crowded. Tho we stayed at a brand name truckstop, forget the name, but the parking spots were arranged at the angle. Super easy to get in and out.
First turn off the GPS, or at least mute the dam thing. Second if you’re looking for a second load why you driving as fast as you can in the middle of the night through the two largest cities that could potentially get you that load. I never understood why you’re always so worried about getting home asap. You should be a company driver with that attitude. Drivers can’t cry about missing their kids or wife when you can easily make the same money working local or finding a skilled trade job. You’re driving over the road because that’s what you want to do.
In late December 1998, my hubs and I were traveling to Florida on I-10, as we came into Houston, there had to be half a million snow geese in the marshes on each side of the road. It was spectacular as they took to the air. Thought about Canada last night as we got 10” of snow, and there’s more to come.
I have shared your videos with my friends... they all know of you. Take care and drive safely, Trucker Josh.
Watching this brings back memories, left Houston in 2017. I remember when 99 was being built and wasn’t a to road. Hope you stopped at a Whataburger!’
Night time is the best time to go through the big citys.
Definitely mandatory.
Sometimes you'll have that when a car goes flying by you then later you see them in the ditch.
I saw on the interwebs that when a baby is standing but not walking yet if you put a ball in each of his hands he'll start walking.
Stay safe
When are you were in Dallas,Texas, you were only about 136 miles from were I live.
I live in Diana, Texas.
You came through home I live 23 miles north-west of downtown Dallas and my job is right there by the sphere lights building downtown right underneath I-35 and I-30 junction overpasses 😃
Oh My Trucker Josh, where’s your edge protection for those straps going over the metal?
I was coming from home in Austin taking a load to Oklahoma City. I passed you after that wreck. On the next down hill. I was driving my blue t680.
“That was mandatory” 😂
Almost missed you on return to Canada 🇨🇦, about 25 years ago, I almost bought a house in FLATONIA, Texas in Downtown Flatonia which is about a mile South of I-10 on US-90A.
Unless you drove through Downtown Houston, you may have used Loop I-610 to get around the business district to go to Dallas & Oklahoma.
Your time in Texas all too brief, hope you got a taste of Texas cuisine, such as a breakfast burrito 🌯 when in Laredo, PALERIDERTV on UA-cam used to LOVE the breakfast burrito from mobile vendors at the truck terminal in Laredo.
Have a SAFE trip home,
D. Howard Bingham
Deer Park, Tx (East side of Houston Tx.) 🤠☕🍳🥞🌯
I got Fam in Fort Worth & Granbury. Did ya go thru Granbury?
And if you wantin Fried Chicken, you got come a little more South. That was more "Tex-Mex" area.
Ah, my new subscription.
Welcome aboard!
@@Trucker_Josh Thank you! You’re my fourth favorite Canadian after Bret Hart, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega.
Watching Trucker Schmidt live feed the other night and someone mentioned you in comments. Kurt said he would reach out to you.
I haven't heard from him yet but he's a great guy I'm sure he's pretty busy!
No snow!
Great roads over with you
Hey Josh, hope you’re feeling better. I get sick when i go from CA, AZ and TX back up North from 40-50 degree F temperature changes.
Just a suggestion, when you record at night especially outside of truck, carrry a flashlight or use Camera Flash Flashlight on your cellphone that most of us forget we have. That way we can see things like the load in last clip the fifth wheel placement in this clip etc. lol stay safe brother get to feeling better.
You don't have the Cat Scale app on your phone Josh? This way if got the app you don't have too push button, wait for someone too weigh ya an then the system emails the scale ticket too your email. Also, when have the app it'll show ya what Old Blue's gross weight is on phone screen. This way ya don't have too find place too park an run inside too get physical ticket.
really! i had no idea! I'll look into that!! that's awesome
Pretty cool seeing Dallas. I’m currently living here. Always enjoy watching. Ready for the next one. Safe travels.
Josh can you please tell me the name of that great tune you played after leaving Dalles with the banjo and and other instrument, I need to find it .nice sound. Thanks again Peter

Josh, Is Blue a 2006 model Kenworth ? She sure runs great with You behind the wheel shifting the gears. What does Blue's drive line consist of underneath the great looking glider kit ?
but you don't give the small truck stops business then they won't be around for long.
No Dog, No Overweight Vlog!
Do you ever carry coils of steel on that trailer??
I haven't but I'm sure we could

I like when you argue and disagree with Karen. Mine is named Lola because it's always confused. Have a safe ride.
Barge in the house day early wouldn't scare her you may scare the mail man hiding in the closet

Trust me never show up early. That’s how I found out my wife’s boyfriend. Always call ahead.
