Never bored of seeing the chickens and the fur babies. 💛 Also I completely agree with using "the best" items in your home. It seems very common we are taught that the "good" china and crystal is to be used for special occasions only. Then one day I realized no-one is more special than my husband and son and every day with them is a special occasion. So since then our daily dinner wear is my china and crystal.
This is the side of you we don’t see much - always fun and down to earth with Carrie - silly, crazy girls 👍🤣😂

I've seen some too, but I think for one thing, people don't pay attention or just watch one and, even at that... as a lot of people say, negative comments are more about the person leaving them.....

I absolutely believe in always using the “good” special item, anytime you feel like it. It is never too special for you, you are never too ordinary for it. If it gets damaged or broken, it just becomes part of its story. If you have to replace it because you used it, at least you have created irreplaceable memories with it, instead of it sitting in the cupboard or in a box for years collecting dust waiting for a time that will be good enough to enjoy it. 🤎

To anyone I know who says they don’t like tomato’s, I ask if they’ve eaten a homegrown one. Categorically taste nothing like supermarkets. When my dad grew tomatoes they were hands down the best we ever had. So pleased you like your homegrown ones!

During this end of the summer time, I get up in the morning and go outside to pick the wild blackberries for my breakfast. It's a little ritual I do most mornings and I love it; it relaxes me a lot. In a short while I should be able to pick both, wild blackberries and figs. It's one of my favourite times of the year.

A planting site in full sun is preferable, but asparagus will also tolerate dappled shade. Most soil types are suitable, as long as they're well drained. Hi Lydia- I’ve never liked radishes until i found a recipe to cook the radishes in butter, salt and pepper. I just sauté them in a small fry pan. Cooking takes the heat and bite out of them. They are so good this way. 😊

Asparagus produces spears in the spring for about 2-3months. Following months you should let it grow and become a patch of ferns for the rest of the year. Mow the ferns down at the end of winter ready for harvest. ❤
I agree, I can NOT do raw tomatoes 🤮, I guess I will have to grow some. Also you look amazing in color and especially red. Loved the dress.
If you add a sprinkle of sea salt to those delicious tomatoes it will intensify the sweetness too!! There's nothing better than having your own garden tomatoes on beautiful sourdough toast for breakky and crumbled fetta! I'm salivating and can't wait but it's still cold here in Oz still so not quite yet!

Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding because the celebrations were still ongoing but they had completely run out. The wine He produced was wine so good they could hardly believe it. That is just how lovely Jesus is ❤️
my husband used to be a super picky eater with vegetables and fruits, and I always told him I didn’t believe him because he just hadn’t tried it in a way he likes 😂 over the years we’ve had higher quality produce and eaten at more special restaurants, and he’s been happily surprised to genuinely enjoy foods he usually hates! It really does make a huge difference!

Hi Lydia! Powdery Mildew can be resolved with baking powder, tiny bit of dish soap and water mixture. Spray it on the affected areas. ❤ or you can purchase a Neem oil spray.

If you boil radishes they end up very similar to potatoes!! No joke. I peel them sometimes but not always . Butter chives and S and P so yum . Also great in casseroles and no carbs xxxx your friendship with Carrie is such an important part of you . X

I love timeless fashion but the clothes I used to wear like fitted blouses and super skinny jeans (or beautiful dresses) just don ´t work anymore.
