Secretion glands. Where his starfish is, on either side there are two secretion glands. You will see two dots, one on one side, one on the other. Sometimes they need squeezing. Maybe the smell is coming from there. Usually it’s older dogs who need them squeezing. I watched a vet do it to one of my dogs years ago. And it looked like toothpaste, the smell was awful. Just a thought. Do not try to squeeze them yourself..👍❤️👍

Okay. I swear my dog lifted his little head and squeaked looking directly at me, as you said to give your kids or animals love. He is 14 so he is getting up there where you know it’s coming. He is in good condition, so I don’t think it’s really soon, but one can not avoid thinking about it some times. I have started bawling just thinking of it, so when the day comes, I fear how I will be able to cope.
My miniature dachshund just past away after 17 wonderful years. The first part of this video makes me miss all of our evening cuddles. Another great video!

One of my biggest regrets is that I didn't spend enough time with my cat when she was ill (we didn't know that at the time- we though it was old age that made her sleepy and less "chatty") and now she is gone and there is no way to pet her anymore...

Hi Lydia, I haven’t watched your channel in a while. Just watched a few of your videos this morning 🥰I’m really sorry to see in your videos that it seems your confidence has been knocked. I notice you’re over thinking what you’re saying and seem nervous, then over explaining why you’re going the places you’re going or why you purchase the things you do. I know this is because of how people comment on your videos and voice their opinion on your lifestyle. I truly pray you can find a way to stop these things affecting you. You’re a sweet lady and you work hard. Everyone deserves to enjoy what they like. You’re entitled to throughly enjoy everything you have without worrying about everyone else’s feelings towards it. A lot of people are unhappy and just use online platforms as an outlet to attack people. I’m so sad you’re exposed to this regularly. Please know most people are happy for others, even if our lives are worlds apart. Enjoy your life and every experience you’re afforded, life is short and you deserve to live it what ever way you choose. Your garden looks beautiful 👩🌾💕

The hair straightener technique doesn’t work on poker straight hair (like mine!) it only works on people who have hair with a kink or natural curl.

Ok Lydia...I have a question....Why don't you refrigerate your eggs? They don't spoil keeping them in a drawer and in a bowl on the stove?
The uk has a better industry standard for egg production than the us. We don’t use those massive laying houses and prefer free range, our eggs are clean when collected from hen houses and less susceptible to salmonella. Eggs in stores are at room temperature on shelves therefore we keep them at room temperature in our kitchen. It’s more important that eggs are at a constant temperature to keep them fresh. Also, the shell is porous and will absorb other odours in the fridge.

In the U.S. eggs are washed in chlorine to clean them which means they have to be refrigerated. We don’t do that here in the U.K. because our hens are vaccinated so we can keep them at room temperature 😊👍

I’m so glad you’re doing your hair like this again! I’ve always preferred straight/blow out style hair on you more than waves. In my opinion it’s So much more flattering and goes better with your face shape and features! I also loved when you used to wear mauve/brownish nude lipstick rather than this coral one but I’m not sure if you’re into nude lips anymore. But anyway your hair looks lovely , looks nice in a slick bun too!

The cheesey smell with pups, can be sometimes in the ears. Sometimes they need a very through, yet delicate cleaning.

Yes! I sometimes find myself looking at animals on Instagram and realize I should be paying attention to my own sweet dog who is 12. So, I put my phone down and get down on the floor and soak her in like the sun. ❤
