- This 2022 F-450 Super Duty Powerstroke is sitting on a Carli Suspension Backcountry level height suspension system, along with 22" American Force wheels and 37/12.5/22 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. The goal of this setup is to improve ride on and off road, without giving up the towing function that makes the F-450 Super Duty platform so impressive.

Small correction: for legal reasons - i.e. so buyers don't need a CDL - the F450 has less payload than the F350. Since the F450 weighs more they have to lower the payload capacity on the sticker to keep vehicle weight at max 14,000 lbs. I would still own an F450 since "overbuilt" = "long life". I love mine!
And the turning radius is way worth it.
Which is annoying because the addition of a 14k gvwr trailer then requires you to get a CDL anyway.
When I win the lotto… this is what I’ll drive daily.

Can you provide the outermost wheel measurements. Basically from outer left wheel to outer right wheel. I’m looking to use your lift kit with the same wheel/tire set up and just verifying it fits into my garage opening. Thank you

I'm looking at building up a used f450 to haul a heavy truck camper. Would your recommend this build for my situation? I love the look! Also, I live in Michigan and this would be my daily driver. How's it handle in the snow, ice, slush and rain?
This build would be a perfect example. You get the high capacity of the 450, but with better suspension to be able to take the truck off the pavement. We also offer shock wrap protection kits for guys like you that need to deal with salt and corrosive environments.
Nice! Glad to finally see one. The 37’s look good. But one curious how some 35’s on 20’s might look. To small?
With how big these trucks are, a 37 definitely looks more proportional!

Have a 2024 350 Platinum stock, would like to add this look and ride to it. Only concern is pulling safely my 41’ 5th wheel at 25k. What do you suggest tire/wheel/ lift setup?

What would you guys suggests if I wanted that much lift in the front. But still wanted to maintain just a little bit of rake. So that it sits level with a trailer and not nose up. Maybe a 1 1/2 raise in the back?
All you'd need is a slightly taller block for the stock leaf packs!
Did you guys upgrade the Diff cover or was that already installed on the truck?

This setup turns and articulates completely after minor plastic trimming.
What is the smallest diameter rims you could realistically run on an f450?? I hate the big rim look.
The smallest we've seen for these trucks are 20" diameter. There's really no high end aftermarket dually wheels smaller than that!

If you aren't going larger than 35s, you can run a 285/70R19.5 on a 19.5x7.5 wheel.

Would you still be able to use the front mud flaps on this truck with this set up?
This truck still requires you to get a non commercial CDL the moment you hook a trailer to it.
Just look at DOT websites from any state. And its because what it can haul, not what youre hauling.
Only for trailers with a GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
but which full leaf pack is it? HD?

Also explain for the rest of us why the Add-a-packs won't fit on the F450 Springs?
For this particular truck, the standard soft ride as that's what the customer wanted. The stock F-450 leaf packs are a physically different size/shape, so the add a packs don't fit!
