- After a childhood of painful abuse and neglect, Rebekah felt worthless, disgusting, totally confused about her identity, and absolutely sure there was no God. In her many tears, she felt everyone was against her. In her despair, while contemplating ending her life, she felt to ask a friend about his faith. In his response she felt a love and warmth enter the room.
Her relationship with God changed. She felt God’s grace. She now prizes her identity as a valued daughter of God. No matter what happens, she says, even if she changed her name, her relationship with God would remain the same.
Her life is now balanced, she says, though there are ups and downs. “Faith is feeling that Heavenly Father is there for you,” she said. “With God, there is always hope for something better.”
We used to be coworkers, and let me tell you: this is one of the best women on earth right here! She is kind, caring, compassionate, and a fantastic listener! She has a great personality, and is always there to talk about anything! Love you, Rebekah!
Wow. This video is exactly what I needed today. Yesterday was one of the worst days for me in years, and then I open my UA-cam app this morning and see this posted 40 seconds earlier. I’m grateful to have access to these things and to hear these messages. And I’m happy that God answered my prayer.

Prayers sending your way and in the temple roll. Keep going. You never know what turn of events may happen when it feels the worst. Hold on. Let god know all of your fears. Write them down too if that helps. Reach out to people even if it’s two or three in the morning- it doesn’t hurt to ask. If you don’t have anyone in your life to reach out to pray for someone that is willing to help you in gods way and not a way to take advantage. Pray to believe him. All is not lost even if evidence says so- hold on.
I am happy with you, friend. This is why Jesus gave us 2 commandments in the New Testament. Most of us know the first one... to love our Heavenly Father.
We know the second one... love thy neighbor as thy self. We are assured of the first half... Love thy neighbor, no matter the circumstances and then we trail off the second part "as thy self". One day I read an article about this very thing.
I was in total awe that I had "discovered" (wink wink) the other half of loving my self. From that day forward I'm reassured that the more I love my self, the more room I get for Heavenly Father's love... now I "get it".
He is always with you! How are you today?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints very likely saved my life when I was going down a dark path during teenage years. Had an incredible and unsolicited spiritual experience with my bishop during that time. I knew in that moment, the Church I blamed for all my terrible years as a kid was not only true after all, but it wasn't the Church's fault for the abusive home in which I lived.
This young lady is incredible. Beautiful video, well done! We have a Savior who died for each of us. Paid the debt for all our sins if we humbly take advantage of it and build a relationship with him. Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us even if things don't always go well or how we want.

You are so beautiful, clean and pure. You have a good heart and soul. Your life story and experiences are already helping so many people, teens as well as adults. You aren’t alone. I’m glad you sought help to get through each step in healing. It’s a daily effort to love, know and accept oneself. Serving others helps me heal and know my worth. Staying around positive people motivates us to continue on the right path and meet our goals. Much love and prayers to you and each person reading this that has gone through some hard times that perhaps no one else knows of. God is with you and it is His word that heals. Jesus carried the cross so you don’t have to carry the burdens alone.

Thank you for sharing your raw journey. I'm learning the Lord reaches to the depths of our despair and binds us to Him in our experiences of abandonment. He looks for us to see, feel and know Him for He is our true identity and destination. By taking His name and learning His ways and living His words and treasuring His promises we become ONE. Christ truly is the only way.
His love and grace is everlasting
I went through some really hard times also and was begging Heavenly Father to take me home. But this pain brought me to my knees a lot and through it, I got to feel God's love for me. Eventually this relationship I got with God from having this pain, made me grateful for the trial, because had I not had that trial, I might not have found God the way I did.
I use to be so focused on healing the pain, but the thought came to me one day, " it's not about healing, it's about becoming" and then I took a good look at myself and could see that because of this massive pain, I had become more Christlike in many ways, less judgemental, more patient, more loving. I learned to leave my pain at the feet of the Savior and to let go of things I cannot control.
So now when I tell my story, I can honestly say that I am grateful for it, because what I gained was far better and more precious to me and have brought me more peace and joy.
AMEN I love my saviour and Heavenly father so much!!!!!!
In the end, we are what we are. A child of God.🙏🙏

God is good! God is home. When I was converted and came unto Christ. I was baptized as a member of His Church.
The only words I actually remember being said were came from the brother conducting,, at the pulpit as, I approached my seat after changing back to dry clothing.
He said, "Welcome Home".
You are Loved by many People .......Your story has touched many People ........You're a wonderful Daughter of Heavenly Father

Faith is: the reason I strive to change my whole life, even though I didn't know if I could ever escape the harm done in my past. I trust that through the Savior, Jesus, we can all be happy as we have desired to be, even more fully than we knew possible.

I see it as a vote of confidence from above to suffer terrible abuses, particularly when young and innocent. If there's Agency, choice, then there's likely abuses to happen. Jesus Christ is in the crisis's of our lives. He suffered to the point of blood coming from every pore, in order to pay for abuse, so that all can be/will be healed, both victims and perpetrators.

Wow, I just love that video so much! I feel like that even when we struggle in life, God can bring us up and show us His light. My faith in God has strengthened so much in my life, even though I didn't have a experience like her. I know that God loves me and He is always there for me! 💕

So interesting that she says "No matter what happens, I can change my name" - indeed, that is what Christ has done for us and will always do for us when and if we allow Him to. He gives us a new name to be called, and we are changed and become better than this life's accomplishments or circumstances, become more than this mortal offering, become purer and cleaner and holier than all we experience or even hope for.
That was so moving. We are never alone. Reach out and he will hold you. Always remember Nephi's dream. Faith brings hope, hope brings love, love brings our Father to us.

You need to focus every ounce of love in your Mind,soul and heart to God because fathers turn against son and mothers turn against daughters,husbands turn against wife and vise versa but God’s love toward you is never shaken it’s like his love for you grows every day which is why no matter how much you disappoint God, he still sees you as his child whom he loves infinitely even when we don’t return the favor
