    How do you resolve a H264 video loss issue?

  • @rwebb4988
    @rwebb4988 29 днів тому

    My power supply to the cameras went bad. I replaced the power supply with the correct power supply, voltage, amperage and polarity is correct. I did a number of troubleshooting routines suggested by Swann. The square where the camera is installed is blank the other squares state video lost. The cameras have power checked by cupping hand over lens and looking for a red light. I plugged a known good camera alternately into each port. The DVR is a Swann H264. O checked the power supplies with my multimeter, they read correct. What next??????

      Hello, we are not a general CCTV troubleshooting organization, the videos we offer are relative specifically to our products we sell and carry on www.securitycameraking.com. Your best bet is to reach out to SWANN for further assistance.

    My neighbors just got all their windows busted out, my recorders been beeping nonstop and it recently just shut completely off I can’t see the screen maybe it’s resolution is set to High then the Hard drive is full for the beeping, I hope I can fix it

    • @Securitycamerakingcom
      @Securitycamerakingcom  3 роки тому

      Hi Velvet, generally if your recorder is beeping non-stop it's triggering an internal alarm, 9 times out of 10 it means your hard drive is dying/already dead. You should try disconnecting the hard drive from the recorder and rebooting it, a bad hard drive can also cause boot issues in a recorder.

    Please I need your help. I need to know how to recover videos from my camera. I’m getting the video streamed to my phone but “select” videos become corrupted. Let me be clear, this is someone tampering with my system most likely using a jammer because I do not have wired cameras. Videos will go corrupted and my station goes on and off line. The camera saves footage to a hard drive but the videos on the hard drive become extremely corrupted and unplayable.

      How I get to some of these videos is Beyond me.. However seeing your Comment makes be think there is something other then what your thinking your issue is.. 1 As said by Joe it is not likely that someone is Jamming your Wifi.. However that isn't to say that your not in a High area of Wifi devices and that someone or a lot of people are making havoc for your Wifi with a lot of Wifi Traffic on the same channel your system is on.. The next thing and more likely then to many devices in your area is bad Cabling. While your talking about Wifi Camera there is still a Recorder, a DVR/NVR that is connected via a Cat5 cable of some sort... If that cable is very FLEXIBLE and easy to push flat and don't feel when you press it flat that the cables inside are twisted I can tell you if it is as I describe the cable is no good and more likely the issue rather then your Wifi cameras... You need REAL Cat 5e or Cat 6A cables CCA cables are JUNK and will make your life a un happy one. You also need to understand that the WIfi camera connects to your Router, form your router to your recorder, if you have a Low Quality Cable or Recorder you will have low quality feeds and your doing your self a dis-justice.. Camera Security system should be something that is Very Secure and will protect your person and property if it isn't then you need to fix this ASAP.. There are many systems out there today that use High Quality picture feeds. Most Secure is going to be BNC and a 1080P is honestly the best for Night time picture quality.. BNC or IP.. POE IP system would be my Second most Secure type and again 1080P to 4mp would be most cases the best picture quality at night time in low light conditions..

      @@revo2maxx my cameras are not wired. I have a wireless Arlo pro 2 camera and a brace station that connects to my router.

    • @revo2maxx
      @revo2maxx 3 роки тому

      @@bbymasterson Personally I don't know.. Could be cable that your Base station to your router is bad, to long or just bad port there are many different things that can go wrong even in a Non ONVIF camera system.. Try another port on your router, and a different cable or even a New MSD card.. as places to start..

    Have u ever had a problem with your cameras on your DVR if I plug all my cameras up I lose 4 channels then when I unplug one of the cameras I get 6 cameras back off of a 8 channel Samsung DVR sdr-b74301n what could that be if u have any answers

    • @Securitycamerakingcom

      Hello, it sounds like it 'could' be a channel pairing issue. Some recorders do not have the ability to mix analog and HD (digital over coax) cameras on the same recorder. Your best bet is to contact samsung. Thanks for reaching out!

      I think I am having the same issue as you with my Samsung dvr b74301n. It first started I lost ch 1 on 4 cameras. Ch1 would show video if I changed it to 8 channel viewing even though I only have 4 cameras. I go to check my video on Saturday now I am only showing channels 1-8 with the word Samsung in each channel box. No video is showing from any camera. Did you resolve your issue.?Samsung is now Hanwa Corp and trying to get a response from the security camera dept is like non existent.

    Hello there, I was hoping that maybe you will be able to help me out with a little issue that just seem to pop-up for me on a Floureon H .264 networks/digital video recorder. So I have this hooked up to a television in my garage and it is hooked up to a Samsung smart TV in which I have a fire stick hooked up to as well so I toggle back-and-forth between the two from time to time but most the time the camera images are not being viewed, but when I need to I just hit the source button and as expected I’m able to toggle back-and-forth, however today I turned the security camera input and I would see the image flash, Including the normal text that is in the corner and the lines that divide the cameras but then it would go black, and if I was to toggle back to the television Input and then back to the camera input I would see it flash again but then it would immediately go off, it’s as if it’s running as normal and the television is dropping the image out seconds after I change it to Camera input, however it doesn’t do it for fire stick or Roku or the regular built-in smart hub, it’s just doing it for the camera, I have changed two different HDMI jacks thinking maybe there was something wrong with that Jack but it doesn’t matter if it’s on HDMI one two or three it drops out, I have also power down the camera debt system and the television both and turned back on hoping that it needed reset, but no luck , Do you think you can give me any advice if you think this is a Camera system issue or television issue.... thanks so much in advance

      @jakeg462 It sounds like that's a recorder issue as you are not experiencing this issue with other devices you've connected to your TV (like the fire stick you mentioned.) You've done a lot of diagnostics by using different inputs on your TV and power cycling both units. You can try replacing the hdmi cable as well and if you have a spare computer monitor and your recorder has the 15pin VGA video out on it try seeing if you can get video that way. If you are interested in purchasing a replacement, please feel free to call our sales line at (561) 228-5258 ext. 2 and our sales department will be able to guide you to the right product for your needs.

    Hello, my recorder is not showing on the monitor like the one you demonstrating .how can you help

    • @Securitycamerakingcom
      @Securitycamerakingcom  3 роки тому +2

      Hello, Emannuel. If you have attempted all the troubleshooting steps in this video (make sure everything is plugged in properly, make sure monitor/cable works by using another device, check resolution output of recorder by logging into web interface) then your recorder may either be defective or possibly damaged from electrical surge. If you bought your product from us, please contact our support department at (561) 288-5258 ext 3. Otherwise, I would consult with either your installer or the recorder's manufacturer about your options.

      Cindle, you can find a tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/UaN_x86KDTI/v-deo.html on how to login to one of our elite recorders from a web browser. You generally need to do this from a windows PC using Internet Explorere (not Microsoft Edge) through recent versions of our Elite recorder also have added some support for Chrome.

      If the troubleshooting steps listed in the video are not helping, we recommend contacting the manufacturer. Generally if it's not a problem with the hard drive, cable or setting on the screen, it's a board-level issue that cannot be resolved simply.
