Thank you, also is composite bats the best to go with? I have 3 daughters playing softball 12u 8u , 7u . They all use alloy bats now, but I see the girls using composite are swinging with less velocity then my kids but they are all crushing the balls, should I definitely switch to composite? Thank you

High School baseball has to use a drop 3. He will need to get one that is BBCOR certified

Does the drop affect how far u can hit the ball?

The rule of thumb is to swing the heaviest bat you can get through the zone. The more mass you can swing the further the ball goes. Be careful though because if the bat is too heavy it will drag through the zone

So heavier/longer the bat=lower drop?

Trace the lower the drop, the heavier the bat. So a drop 8 is heavier than drop 9 etc.. thanks for watching

Couldn't they just put the length and oz of bat and skip the negative part?

Big Blue that would make sense. Some companies have started to put on the knob the length and weight. Hopefully others will follow. It can be confusing to many.
