I had years driving lorries and always liked to see young lads with their cars just having a laugh . They never caused me any worry at all and to be honest while they were cruising around the thieves knew they were being watched which made me in turn feel a lot easier and sleep a lot better . Live and let live I reckon .
Cook the chicken first as it takes longer to cook than veg, then stir in some of the powder, then add your veg and the rest of the powder and give it a good stir. Your veg will cook pretty quickly after that. If you dont like a lot of sauce driping out of your wraps (I don't) then drain the chicken before adding the powder and veg....bon appetit!👍
4th gear crunching is a very common issue on these vans. Have you ever changed the gearbox oil? Unfortunately it’s the synchromesh and will eventually need a new gearbox. You can nurse it along by a slow change, or by double declutching on the gear shift. Press clutch into neutral, let up and repress clutch into 4th.
Great video, Will! Sometimes the worst-rated spots turn out to be hidden gems. Glad the parkup wasn’t as bad as expected, but the El Paso fajita mix incident made me chuckle! 😂 That hoody will forever have a story attached to it now!
@@HazelBrookes That's a good point! Weather can definitely change the vibe of a place. I guess it's all about timing and luck when it comes to these parkups. Hopefully, Will's next stop is just as peaceful-rain or shine!
Negative reviews on park4night are generally locals who join and leave bad reviews. One near us, someone put a brick through the van windscreen (allegedly)
Just check if the carpet on the above panel interferes at all with the door seal on the side door. Door seals don't like any contamination at all no matter how slight. If the door shuts tight against the carpet above I advise cutting back the carpet till it's clear of the rubber seal altogether. That would be my first check. Enjoyed the video. 👍👍👍
Hi Will, it’s so good to see you, that’s not a bad park up. The foxes will give you company. Nice quite night, beautiful scenery in the morning. Thank you Will and take care 👍👍👍🤟🏼👋👋🥰🥰
Knew straight away what you were cooking...love how you stroked the fajita packet ..😅..i miss these type of old videos that you used to good...pleased to watch this one ❤
Will I love you and your channel so much. But one thing has always bothered me you are one of the few van lifers that never back in! So glad you are evolving 😂 keep up the great work! You are a true inspiration to more than I think you realize!
It's a gravel parking lot....mmmmm, I wonder if the reviewer just didn't have a rock skip up from one the tires and thought somebody had thrown a rock at his van! Another great video Will, keep up the good work!
Hi Will, glad to see you back out and about!! Watching the vid with the wife again. Noticed you mention the gearbox problem. You mentioned "re-syncronised". It's called the synchro mesh! It's a donut shaped concentric ring that travels up and down ax shaft via something called a dog! The dogs lock and move the ring up and down the shaft to select the gear. It's probably cheaper to get a used gearbox than have it fixed unless you know a man who knows a man!
Ive recently bought a vw crafter and starting to use it it also is a bit dodgy going into 4th gear look forward to what people tell you enjoy your content mate live in a truck all week house for washing then van on the weekend at the moment all on wheels
Concerning your leak I once owned a citroen relay van exactly the same as your Fiat, and I believe it's a common fault where the door seals fail and also the drip ledge around the roof of the van has a sealant around which can crack with age and fail. This may not be the issue but worth checking, and both went on mine👍🏻
I’ve got a MWB Ducato & had the exact same issue with the sliding door leaking. Couldn’t work out why, but ended up putting a length of U guttering (made of white silicone) above the door. This carries any water run off from the roof away from the door. Solved the problem 👍🏻😊
thanks for the great video. I think that you're supposed to add a bit of water to the pan when you add the seasoning mix. also, sour cream and guacamole are fire with fajitas!
Apparently Boxers and similar are renowned for leaking side doors. I’ve heard sticking some tile trim above the door on the outside helps. Lots of YT videos available about it. Going to try with mine so will let you know how I get on
Stay safe in Albania! I walked past you on your scooter in Sarande, didn’t recognise you with a helmet on but you had a go pro in your mouth and you saw me staring at you and laughed lol have fun 😊
Hey will.. I just wanted to say how jealous i am of the freedom you have when you're out about on you're road trips with mary. I've been following on your journey including the recent upgrades. And how the simple things you achieve make you so proud and so you should. Lol. I'm currently staying with family as I lost my home in covid and van life has been something I think about all the time. But it's money, time and knowledge that goes against me. If you ever considered parting with mary... pls come to swansea and find me. Nor only woold it be an adventure for me it would also be a Home. Stay Safe and keep smiling x x
Brilliant video, love that and your El Paso Fajita`s. I do wonder if people leave those kind of negative reviews so other people don`t park there and then they have the parkup all to themselves.
You can get an IDP in person from certain shops that have PayPoint. I am sure the IDA may add some value but ... An IDP costs £5.50. You must: - live in Great Britain or Northern Ireland - have a full UK driving licence - be 18 or over Great vlog though. 🙂
leaked water in the same place on our Ducato and it came from the joint on the roof where two plates were joined together. Sealed both sides of our van and the leak was gone.
Great vlog as always Will.. but please cook your chicken first, as others have said... but mainly if your going to put cheese in, then PUT some cheese in! Not just 3 strands 😂😂
Headly Heath is only a short skip and a jump from My English Hometown, the Village of Ashtead, which I last saw in 1967 when My Parents dragged Me (then 11) kicking and screaming to South Australia.
Love your stealth videos, could the leak be your max air and the water is running to the door and to the window simultaneously? Just seemed odd you have water both sides at similar spots xx
I can’t tell, but there used to be a food vendor on Headley that was very popular .. wonder if that park up is where they used to be based. Was semi permanent, as in it was an old caravan but was never moved.
That leak is probably from the roof, there is a join in the body, the seam sealer cracks on roof channel (with the roof rack studs) where the joint is, it you see hairline cracks u need to scrape it off 'til you hit the orange foam below it, dry and replace with body seamsealer/adhesive. You'll know also if it comes off easily by scraping with plastic tool. Just done mine, a 2014, was dripping from same spot, it's deceiving because the seam is about a foot away from where it drips down above the sliding door, thought it was the door seal or lack or rain gutter gutter at first but no, used dye to trace it, best of luck.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Will way to go! I would like to see more park overnight ratings. May I suggest an adult bib so you can catch the run away food😂. Have a great day!
The donuts will probably go to the other car park about quarter of a mile up the road by the cricket club as it’s a much bigger one. I used to drive past the car park you used every day going to work and you’d always see one or two van lifers in there. and Will, come on man, you gotta go back to Box Hill, preferably on a Friday or Saturday night, and see if that wild animal is still there. Nice transition from Somers Road to Morrisons, I thought it was only us locals who knew about that portal lol
Well done brave boy. Any very low review of anything tends to show the person was unlucky...I only take reviews of anything into account once it has at least 100 reviews. On the matter of syncing in Mary's gearbix. Get the oil level checked first before going it into the garage if the grunge is still there.
First thought was that the CCTV Camera sign was there to dissuade the sports car people. Also, try to pick a park up that has 2 or 3 bad reviews instead of just one.
I live not to far from the woodmansterne park up very nice area but unfortunately a couple travler sites around that ruin the area and they dump tons of rubbish in the car park
not if its only on one gear (4th in this case). Its worn synchromesh. Easy to live with and you can pretty much avoid the crunch by learning to double declutch, this is basically rev matching within the gearbox. Bring the clutch up while in neutral between the gears, then down again to select 4th, and when changing down from 5th (or 6th if Mary has 6) then give a little rev while in neutral.
I had years driving lorries and always liked to see young lads with their cars just having a laugh . Just watched the loneliest job video
I fully respect this guy
Proper honest geezer no messin
Try changing the gear oil, might be worn synchros, rev matching during gear changes will help, it could last for years and be fine.
Negative reviews on park4night are generally locals who join and leave bad reviews. One near us, someone put a brick through the van windscreen (allegedly)
And councils, the anti-van-life councils are rife!
Pro Tip - Aldi's Fajita mix is about a third of the price of Old El Paso and just as good. Well, it is round here - I'm down in Straya

Great video! I also have a MWB Ducato with a crunchy 4th gear so I’m interested to see what you do 😊
Please, put the Chicken into the pan first, and then the veg. You are missing out alot of flavor.

4th gear crunch is from your hand resting on the gear selector whilst driving its a common fault, the gate wears down with the vibration over time,
