vTuned showing us once again that he is man enough to call it when a repair isn't working out instead of forcing it. That is why his repairs are a cut above.
100% agree. He's both thorough AND meticulous in all he does, why he's a cut above.
Even though the repair didn't work, the repair blew my mind. My goodness. He really is a master of his craft.
wish he showed the 66 coupe !!
You clearly missed the whole 5 different 60s mustangs saga…
Bro stop the ball kissing. Yes he has integrity but no need to sound like youre a bootlicker. Ben seems like a cool ass dude, no need to keep him humble when I'm sure he goes through his own struggles. As everyone else
Nice to know you really care about the integrity of your repairs, yes you could have kept going but admitting it was not working as planned is priceless!
Damn Ben, for someone who says he hates doing bodywork, you sure are good at it! Your attention to detail is amazing. I could watch you work all day. (The truth is that I prefer watching *other* people work instead of me doing it.) Anyway, great video - I'm sure that Mustang will turn out as beautiful as all of your projects.
Master at work🤗 love you're work/videos. Glad you and you're wife are better 🙌🙌
Dent pulling is so satisfying to watch. Garage floor was worth that upgrade. Great job.
Nice work Ben I'm sure it's gona look abserluetly osome finished man piece!.👌👌👌👍👍👍🏴
21:36 that little fur ball... what a beautiful kitten you got right there!!
Making good progress. Watching from Queensland Australia.
Welcome Back Ben, It's nice to see you working on the Mustang again.
Hey VTuned! Even though you hate body work so much, you make it look so easy! You do an amazing job fixing cars!! It's a fine art that only a select few are really good at and you are one of them! Thanks for the tips and tricks! Keep the content coming!
The Champ is here
Dude, I absolutely love your content! You and Yuri are seriously how every shop should be, honest and not cutting corners!! Look forward to each and every upload!
Yeah, I'm a big Yuri fan, too; and call Paul the "Maestro" due to his mastery in the paint booth. Definitely a skilled, talented, and hard-working family... I subscribe to all 3 of their channels!
@raymondtuckerjr1886 wait, Paul has his own channel too? Do tell brother, I need a new subscription!
I have been watching you for years. Constantly amazed by your talent Ben.
You may hate bodywork, but IMO your damn good at it.
The amount of integrity you have to be able to throw away a hood you just spent a bunch of time on is amazing. Keep up the great work!! you’re killing it
That is honesty to himself and professionalism glad you are back .
Ben, I appreciate your commitment to doing quality work. Lots of body shops don't uphold your high standards. Keep up the great work.
I am so fascinated watching you bring these machines back to life. Love it!
Just glad you are wearing your PPE gear. You've got many more years of content to entertain us with.
6.27 that roof metal looks so soft to work with! Always enjoyable to watch, thanks!
Skills upon skills!
Ben is the Picasso of body repair the master, always great content great job on the video as always,👍👍👍
I love watching you take something that looks so bad it can't be fixed and your talent to rework the metal back to its original spot with little filler. Great work!
Nice to see vtune that he is a men off his words doing a good job like always love ur channel
Awesomely done Ben. Take care.
Ben's artistry is stuff of legends. He is a true sculptor.
Impressive work 👍👍
Great stuff thanks
Excelente trabajo, l importante es que se cuidaron, ahora están recuperados, felicidades 🙏🙏🙏
Excellent to see panels being worked on professionally, top work so many people don't give a toss great work
Ben can I suggest that you need to use a shop vac when blocking the bondo and glaze this will keep your shop much cleaner and eventually keep The paintwork cleaner to beep up the great work.
Yes sir and a mask to filter particles!
Great Job man!💪🏻👍🏻
It was one thing to even tackle repairing the lid, it was impressive as to how close you came and even more impressive that you didn't think it good enough and cut your loses; most people having got so far and so close would have settled for it being "close enough".
Awesome work Ben…. Love this channel 👊
I was waiting too much for your video ❤
Maaan it’s always awesome to see a new vtuned video 🤘🏽
Respect to you for calling it Quits Bro.. some shops would have just let it slide by.
Love the built. Let’s go B.
love your work..happy to watch whenever you can post nothing more important than your health and to support your wife
This dude is an artist.
Nice work 👍🏻
14:30 what da cat doin ?
Checking out the crack lol
Always impressed with your skill set and honesty. Hood was looking good. But in the end you made the right call. A new hood is the way to go. Great progress on this project for sure.
Nice work in this episode, those body lines take a lot of work.
Definately was waiting for your vid. Stay healthy and produce more content
Glad to hear you and your wife are feeling better!
I wish people that do bodywork care as much as you do Ben. You value your integrity and quality of work. That is why we watch you. keep it up and the Shop Cat is adorable.
Happy days. Hope feel better now. 👍🏻🇬🇧
The cat is a nice touch to the vids
Great work Ben! Even with all of the time, and effort you spent trying to fix that hood, you knew it wasn't going to be up to your standards. You take a lot of pride in your work, and it shows.
Ben the best, nice body work!
Nice work
@14:37 that’s why instead of putting straight bondo on first I’ve either used ankle hair fiberglass or duraglass than bondo, it’s sturdier.. but I commend you in showing us that your man enough to call it quits when the repair isn’t working to your expectations…awesome work .
That’s the name of the game. Need to know when to quit. Respect! Didn’t take the easy way out and kick the problem down the road!
Really enjoy your channel Ben you do excellent work great attention to detail
According to the cat scan everything looks ok! Thanks Ben
Respect Ben, replacing the hood 👍 would've been so easy to "hide" the cracks. Quality job by a quality guy.
Welcome back bro , long time 😊
Welcome back Tunes
Welcome back vtune you need to make more video keep up the good work
Hi Ben,
It’s for me always amazing to see how you are able to fix wrecked cars and also this Ford Mustang GT will look absolutely beautiful when you’re finished with the refit. I look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands
Glad to see you are willing to do the right thing with that hood instead of rushing it. I'm sure many shops would have been fine with using it the way it was.
nice one v good work shame about the bonnet .
Nice job
Keep it up , and pist video more often Ben.God bless
Hi Ben, as a follower of your channel I have noticed the obvious skills you have with bodywork, you are a perfectionist. Seems that it runs in your family Yuri, Paul for instance. Keep doing wot you do and stay safe. Watching from the UK 👍 Peace.
The car is looking good vtuned good try on the hood and the rest of the body work is on point keep up the great job love watching your videos
My man VTuned hooking us up with a new vid as the Goonz have gone AWOL
I was thinking the same thing
Hi Ben your cat needs some love dude’s 😂😂
My daughter is 10 and autistic she loves watching your channel. Thanks
Is that an insult?
Bro is so clean with his work mashallah!
You need a dust/air filtration/extraction system. Both for your health and to keep the workshop clean. There is a reason most body shops aren't painted black, they show dust!
take care
This is what I love about your channel, vTuned. If your repairs aren't perfect, you tell us why and then replace the parts. You are a true professional. Thanks and we'll see you next time.
At least you tried to repair that hood excellent effort, I would have completely spazed out and jumped on it.
tnx for the vidio
I believe in spraying an epoxy-primer on the bare metal before adding the body filler.
new cat is sleeping on flooth
Awesome
Your video production skills are getting really good 👍
Vinnie you have “the eye” that sees where the compression epicentre actually is. That is your gift…
good job !
but be careful you are getting bigger and bigger dude
Just clean that hood and hang it on the wall . That would look sweet hanging on the wall with your BMW sign. Keep up the great work and God Bless.
The color on the parts is called Vapor Blue. Looking good, I've got a 2024 GT in the same color, atlas blue and it's awesome.
You may want to invest in a festool system for sanding.
Yeah! Just in time for the mustang's birthday 🎉🎂🐎
I wondered what happened. Glad both you and your wifey are better. Same happened to us 😅
Hello Ben vtuned Garage body work 2024 ford mustang gt very good job on car and Ben and wife get well hope better soon fan be happy back on UA-cam channel make video for fans watching on UA-cam channel I love like support and number one ☝️
Use fiberglass with epoxy on the hood crack might help
Glad you'r not acting like Mat Armstrong, love your honesty.
Wish you the best luck.
Can't stand that plonker Armstrong, such a big head 🤣
Happiness of a cheap repair ends when it comes back to BITE YOU! Good call. You can sleep well knowing this one is done right!
1:24 my favourite track
The cat gives the last touch to the channel 😺🤝
I like your Videos
Would have loved to see the aluminum welding as you did it. Even if its not perfect this is one thing I want to learn.
Doing that metal repair takes skill and patience. Two things I don't have. Nice job.
Tuned, I've learned so much from watching you work. What happened to the shop kitty, I miss seeing it.
Mechanic✖️ Artist ✔️
agree with you and i think is right way is to replace the hood, reputation is long term thing, but money isn't
GJ maman
Ben. If you can pull dents like that from metal, I would like you to spend some time with my wife and her behind. I will forever be grateful to you. Viva Ben!!
WTF
Man that hood wasnt that bad after the fix but he is honest about the long-term cracks. But it wasnt bad.
