- In this weeks video i wanted to make a really funky Psychedelic Cosmic guitar using DVD's and CD's . i just think this would look so funky and far-out I had to try this one. Let me know what you think in the comments ?

Oh man, it's so cool! Once the cut up disks were coated with resin they came out looking like the inside of an abalone shell! Laying the pieces out like a mosaic was worth the effort. Amazingly beautiful! Thanks Nick!
Way cooler then I thought it was going to be . Not what I expected when you first chopped up the CDs . That looks absolutely amazing that mosaic pattern is mesmerizing

You did a great job on this project.
It's a beautiful guitar, but the black piece takes away from its beauty, hopefully you can find a clear piece or an iridescent piece for the next guitar project.. The discs you used give it a faux mother of pearl look.

Very cool idea to use CD pieces as the Medium, but..... I bet you didn't expect the acrylic to mess with and erode those pieces. Ha ha ha. Also, why'd you use a black pickguard?... I would use the clear pickguard,.. and hand. Cut it myself,..... personally. But overall, very cool build man. Really not a fan of the overly manly camera angles and the slamming and banging of the tools and the bodies. To me that's a bit overkill manly kind of thing. But hey, What do I know?
Under resin like that, the pieces of disc seem strangely reminiscent of abalone
This is not another its an old one Nick did, I enjoy his stuff but must be struggling with new ideas.
